I got this to hang on my son's wall with his shark tooth inside (we put a large heavy shark tooth in it). He is a boy after all, so when he runs into a wall or slams a door, the tooth will shift and press up against the glass, opening the case. Excellent size and lovely workmanship. The plexiglass received a one-star review. We eventually peeled two layers of plastic off the front and back, and the recycling insignia came off with it, making it functional. I had trouble figuring out how to get the plastic off the plexiglass as well and believed it would be useless.

This shadowbox is ok, in my opinion. The quality is lower because it is less expensive than some of the other options I have seen. However, everything was really carefully packaged, so it arrived in good condition. There was a tiny scratch on the corner, but it hardly stands out. I was a little surprised to learn that the shadow box is made of clear plastic rather than glass, even though I seem to remember it saying so when I first saw the item.
