I thus thought that this would be a perfect purchase to get our fishing poles up off the ground where they could get damaged after I observed a buddy of mine with these storage racks storing his 20 fishing poles in his garage. I followed the instructions for placing my order on Amazon, choosing the 18-inch Cobra racks because my garage had five panels. My racks were too long for my panels when I tried to attach them after they arrived. In actuality, I had just shy of 17 panels "and the racks would not function. I went on Amazon for a potential answer and found the company's phone number in the product's review area. When I dialed the number, the owner's cell phone answered (how often does that happen). Pete, the owner, instructed me to snap a few photos of my panels and give him the precise measurements. Pete soon responded and informed me that he would begin developing an adapter so the 18 "I could fit racks in my garage. I have a wire shelf unit that is not a name brand, and this worked like a charm. Off brand since it lacks the typical brand name stamp on the corners like a Trinity, Alera, NSF, Metro, etcetera; this specific item has no name stamped anywhere on it. I can't disclose where or what retailer it was bought from because a friend gave it to me. I took a risk and got it based on both the positive and negative reviews and extensive research. It was properly wrapped, came with the mounting sleeves, and arrived a day early. Compared to the other shelves on the unit, this one is of higher quality. I am quite happy with my purchase and would suggest it. The flat usable surface is usually a few eighths of an inch smaller than the actual shelf dimensions, as anyone who owns a wire shelf unit (I have five). Take a shelf measurement if you don't believe me.As a last point, there are numerous companies that make wire shelves, and some of them would use less wire on their shelves in order to save money and time. If you intend to load it heavily, seek for a unit with main support wires that go from back to front rather than shelves with main support wires that run from side to side. The back-to-front wired shelves will have more cables, providing stronger stability. Hope this was useful.

Over the years, I've used a lot of anti-tip devices, all of which were name brands produced by companies that make goods for kids. I've never felt secure or content using them, and I don't see why people even use the other solutions now that there is anything like this. The other goods have a material element that slides into another piece and always becomes looser, so eventually I just start getting rid of furniture out of concern for the safety of my children.Remembering these great pieces from earlier, they are simple to install and do not come loose. One side should be installed into a wall stud, and the other portion should be placed into the wood of your furniture. I have five of these put on dressers, book shelves, and other furniture pieces throughout the house. There are a few installation choices, however they most frequently advise placing under the topmost piece of wood on a shelf. I have tested both methods, and they are both quite sturdy. I even climbed a book shelf to try it for myself, and it did not even flinch.You should buy these if you want peace of mind and confidence that your youngster cannot tip anything that is securely fastened with these steel wires.

I like this swivel hook a lot, and it looks great, however there are no instructions, no hardware alternatives like a molly bolt, and no spare hardware in case you make a mistake (which I did). You must do it correctly the first time! As a result, in accordance with some comments, a hole smaller than the contained plastic anchor must be predrilled. 2 sizes of Phillips screwdrivers are needed for this installation. Use your hand to insert the plastic expanding anchor after the hole has been bored. To fully screw in the anchor until it is flush with the ceiling, use a LARGE head phillips screwdriver. I had to peel it out after using a little head. Fortunately, I saved hardware from past kits and had five anchors that were nearly broken! The second effort was successful. To prevent it from coming out, hand-tighten the metal bolt into the plastic anchor. Then, using a small Phillips head screwdriver, make sure the bolt is completely flush with the anchor. The last step is to open the base of the hook, place a metal screw in the slot, and then close the hook. Once fitted, there is no way to tighten the hook, and it rides a little looser than I would like, but I can live with that. Consider it as well before you start drilling and save a minor sparkle job for the very end! I also had to restart the entire installation because I didn't like the first location I picked! I hope these installation and review instructions are useful.

(Since it would be difficult to review this fully without mentioning the bins it is intended to contain, both are listed here.)A cardboard cover was used to encase this panel before it was put into another box. Given some of the reviews, some people were concerned that they could get a panel that was damaged, but mine had no dents, scrapes, or bent corners. Given that volunteers are supposed to use it, it won't remain that way for very long! I got what I wanted, but since I want to mount it in a covered tool trailer and prevent the bins from shaking loose while driving, I'll probably insert hand-cut shims beneath the bin hangers to keep them in place. I'll need something that fits snugly but not too firmly so as to risk damaging the dumpsters. Instead, I might decide to tie a bungee rope across the face of the bins, which could work well to keep the bins in position and the contents inside the bins. I give the product and its bins a rating of 5 stars because they were adequately advertised, were in excellent shape, and will function extremely well. It's only that I utilize it extremely, which shouldn't have an impact on the ranking. (Except during earthquakes, you won't experience this issue in your workshop or craft area.)Following my posting, I discovered "Akro-Mils 40599 Louvered Panel Bin Retainer Clip, Pack of 6," which secures the bins and works perfectly in the tool trailer. They are not yet available on Amazon, but perhaps they will be there shortly.

A nice approach to show several items. I use it for both my own postcards from travels as well as cards from others (like birthday cards). It's a heavy shelf, yet I was able to set up six of them all by myself, without the help of anyone else. These are not weak wire shelves that flex and twist when a big, hefty storage box is nearby. The individual who complained about the weight is missing the point, in my opinion. The shelves are 48" long and 2" deep, so they must be substantial by necessity, especially considering their load rating. They have no equivalent in the Gladiator line, and two mounting choices enable you make a decision based on your storage needs. They also make a decent work shelf.If your walls are flat, they are not too difficult to install because the shelf has a flange at the back that runs the width of the shelf and fits on the ridge of the panel. In order for the shelf to fit, your GearTrack or GearWall must be straight. There was only one area where the Gearwall needed to be shimmied in order to achieve absolute straightness. To provide a little more flexibility about location above my cabinets, I utilized GearWall rather than Gear Track, although I think the Gear Track is a better choice.I adore these bookcases. Last but not least, I believe they complement the cabinets in a man-cave-like manner.
