There is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on the individual. Some people find that backless chairs improve their posture, while others find them uncomfortable. Ultimately, it is up to the person to decide which type of chair is best for their posture.
Kneeling chairs are a type of ergonomic chair that can provide support for your hips and back. They are often used by people who have back pain or other ergonomic concerns. Some research suggests that kneeling chairs may help to reduce back pain, but more research is needed. There is also some evidence that kneeling chairs can help to improve posture and reduce strain on the neck and shoulders.
Yes, kneeling chairs are good for leg circulation. By taking the pressure off the spine and pelvis, and redistributing your weight through your knees and shins, kneeling chairs encourage better posture and blood flow to the lower extremities.
Yes, kneeling chairs are good for lower back pain. Kneeling chairs put your pelvis in a neutral position, which takes pressure off your lower back. They also allow you to move your hips and thighs, which can help reduce stiffness and pain in your lower back.

Despite the somewhat inadequate directions, it was fairly simple to assemble. I really would have liked colored screws or at the very least separate designated baggies for the screws to make it easier to build, but that is really just a minor quibble. This was roughly on par with the Ikea-style furniture I've assembled a lot of.I concur that there is a scent coming from this chair. I'm hoping that goes away soon because latex paint is the closest thing I can think of right now that smells comparable, and it's making my office smell. I don't believe the claims that it is genuine leather because it smells fairly strong and clearly doesn't smell like leather.I docked one point since there are no instructions for height adjustment; I'm just 5'2" tall and can't seem to get the height set properly. I've been experimenting with the bottom bar, which has three different holes, but none of them appear to be "quite right" for me. The metal bar in the center is meant to adjust, but I haven't been able to get it to even sort of budge.I'm delighted with my purchase for now, but I deducted a star because of the cost, the stench, and the lack of instructions on how to 'correctly' position yourself in the chair and adjust the seat height (I had to do some online research to figure this out). I advise it to anyone who wants to avoid the typical chair because of back problems but doesn't want to work while sitting on a huge ball. At least this appears to belong in an office.

8/16/19 edit: Having this set up so that my knees were bearing the majority of the weight helped me personally with my hip discomfort problem. Now that it's roughly evenly distributed between my hips and knees, I can sit for a longer period of time. Yes, my knees do feel tired after a while, but I alternated between this chair and my regular office chair, which significantly lessened the hip pain. Again, I recently weighed 230 lb, so the cushioning is exactly right for me, but others could find it to be too much or insufficient.I pulled my lower back two weeks ago, which is nothing new for me. Additionally, I spend the majority of my day sitting down while working on web, photo, and video production. My glutes are so tight that this time, despite my chair being rather comfy, my right hip pained for over two weeks.Even though I had seen someone use this kind of chair in an office while I was still in high school and had heard positive things about it, I had my doubts. The fact that you can alter the height as well as how much weight is placed on the knee and the hips is something I enjoy about its design. The installation was simple. I have no idea who is claiming that it was challenging to construct. Two Allen wrenches and an instruction manual are included. I put it together in under five minutes.Initially, I thought the knee pads were too little, but I also recalled that even when you're seated in a car, extending your legs widely is said to put additional strain on your hips. And at 5'10," I'm not small either ", 230 lbs, and due to years of competing in trials and mountain biking, my legs aren't exactly small either. Finding the ideal comfort height and getting used to it took some time, but it's currently working great for me.You can probably use this chair on carpet without the roller. However, except that, the roller is helpful. I currently have the height set so that the majority of the weight rests on my knee and shins. I use it for the majority of the day, and the foam's shape appears to be holding up well.To relieve pressure from your back and hips, keep in mind that a conventional 29–30 "You'll end up sitting a little higher if you have a tall desk. My forearms are raised a little higher than usual while I type on the computer right now. Therefore, to lower it if it's too tall, detach the bolt from the main frame and move it down a notch. There isn't much room to actually slouch, therefore it does help to retain your posture better than using a pillow or back support. This helps me maintain a straighter stance even if I have terrible posture.

I had been considering purchasing a kneeling chair for some time, but my research left me feeling a little overwhelmed. There appeared to be a huge selection that all looked essentially the same. Because of its rating, its thick pads, and its weight rating, I chose this one. (I weigh around 240 pounds, but several of the seats only had 220 weight capacities.)Chair assembly was not too difficult. (At first, I mistakenly believed that the instructions were missing; however, they were located in the bag that contained one of the cushions.) The only difficulty I encountered was getting one of the pins through its hole without using a rubber mallet. The chair is quite robust. Casters, which are the part that most people worry about, are fine—they're typical furniture casters. The thicker pads are nice. My knees occasionally hurt a little, but it is typically relieved by repositioning to locate the "sweet spot," as I am new to this kneeling chair business.I purchased this for my workplace at work, and I'm considering purchasing another for my home. Recommended.

I weigh around 200 lbs and am 6 feet tall. There is enough of leg room when I have it on the second-highest setting. Therefore, I believe this would be beneficial for people who are a little taller than me, perhaps up to 6'4 or even 6'6 with the highest setting. However, this is only a speculation on my part. There are many benefits and drawbacks to this SUPERJARE ergonomic kneeling chair.Pros: As soon as you sit in the chair, your posture will be corrected. No strain is placed on the knees, and the padding is adequate. Since using this chair, which has helped significantly with my chronic back pain of over 15 years, I experience significantly less back pain and overall, my back feels much stronger. From the chair, I can also feel my core tightening a little, which is excellent.Cons: The chair is odd. It has a very unique and unconventional feel. For many people, it will take some getting used to. Personally, I already would have gone to a regular chair if it weren't for the improvement in my back. Not as mobile-friendly as my last desk chair are the wheels. There isn't much room to move around, unlike a desk chair, and you can't merely slip out and spread your legs. In a way, I miss that. Although the chair is comfy, using it for extended periods of time gives my legs a minor pins-and-needles sensation. If I use the cushion for a long time, my tailbone area may become irritated. When I refer to long time periods, I mean use that lasts more than an hour to three hours. The instructions advise getting a helper because assembly is a pain, but really? for a little, tiny chair. Get a helper, the instructions are correct. It's practically hard to screw the frame in without it locking up and pinning your fingers because the two major sections fit together like a pair of scissors. While I screwed everything together, I needed someone to keep it open. It's fantastic once you're together, but it seems to be a little difficult to acclimate. Additionally, I don't like how frequently it squeezes the family jewels together.Overall, I enjoy it and am happy with the purchase. If it weren't for the fact that this kneeling chair helps my posture and back, I would prefer to sit in a regular desk chair. For me, it really does make a difference, and the advantages outweigh my desire to return to using a desk chair.

They adored their kneeling chair without a back when they first acquired it. I had to give this updated version with a back a try as soon as I saw it. Compared to the chair I use at home, I carried it to work where I use it for longer amounts of time. I have a lot of trouble with my posture in general, and this is definitely helping. I adore it and really suggest it!

You want to work on your posture, is that what I'm asking? If so, don't look any further; this chair genuinely saves your back! When I get home from 12-hour shifts working on the unit, the first thing I want to do is sit down. In addition to encouraging better posture and core-strengthening spine alignment, this chair makes that possible. Get with the times and purchase an ergonomic kneeling chair because seats with backs are so 1990s. Your back will appreciate it.

I'm leaving a somewhat extensive review, along with assembly-related advice and images.Firstly, I picked this chair above others since it has more padding and rocks as opposed to other ones that are available that are on wheels. Since I have ADD, rocking is helpful.I once sat on a large ball. The ball is less expensive, and the principle is very similar to that of this chair. However, compared to a ball, your coworkers are less likely to kick or steal this chair.I observed that whenever I started to slouch in this chair, I would immediately correct myself. The back support of a conventional chair aids in maintaining slouching. I am constantly aware of my core. As I type, I also notice that I'm using less force on my hands.Although it will take some getting used to for your shins and core, it's a significant improvement over the executive type chair I was previously using.Assembly:s- I worked on it for 45 minutes. I made cautious not to rush while taking shots all throughout. It would be simple to assemble and take less time.- Tools: A flat head screwdriver, rubber malet, hammer, and possibly a flashlight are required. I lined up the screws that I was having difficulties with using a metal flashlight as a hammer and to help me see into the holes.- Tip. Lay everything down in order, make some room, and then take out the trash.- Tip. Before setting it up, arrange the crossbeams from longest to shortest.Feel free to lightly tap the wood dowel rods into the holes. It will start to fit into place once you begin screwing it together.- Tip. After all the screws have been lightly screwed in place, only then should you begin to tighten them altogether. Without any wiggle room, aligning the screws is challenging, and if you tighten them one at a time, assembly will be challenging.- Hint: Align the female flat-head bolts with the wood at a 90-degree angle. Or use a flashlight to check that it's aligned by looking down the hole. The most aggravating aspect is this. Therefore, I advise leaving all the screws unfastened until the very last minute. As I went back and loosened them all, it helps a lot. I easily knocked it out after doing that.

Because of some other reviews, I was first a little hesitant when I purchased the chair, but I'm pleased I did! When I opened the package, the first thing I saw was a warm warranty, which gave me the impression that the business would stand behind its product and have my back.Due to some of the instructions' small photographs, I had a little issue figuring out the assembly, but the customer care was outstanding and guided me every step of the way.Regarding the chair itself, the cushions are strong enough to accommodate my body build (5' 10" and 210 lbs) while still being soft enough to be comfy. With a simple to use piston and remove pin, the seat and knee pillow can be adjusted for height and angle. As soon as I sat down, I noticed that my breathing had improved, and I had no trouble adjusting the height to work at my desk. Now, rather than laying on the desk itself, my hands hover just above my keyboard and mouse (as they should do to prevent CTS). My back, legs, and feet already feel like they have greater circulation after only a few days of use.The only improvement I could think of is making the packaging plastic that surrounds the piston completely detachable. It is glued in, so when you take it out, there are little bits left that don't look that nice. However, the business was quite receptive to my concerns, so perhaps when it's rectified, that will be covered by my warranty.
