It feels really sturdy and is not at all fragile. I was pleasantly pleased because I was anticipating something that was a little bit rougher to the touch. Since I don't own any dogs and don't intend to use it for dogs at any point in the future, this is significant to me.I got this to protect my rear seat from my kids' always messy antics. My previous cover barely held itself together, was frail, and started ripping after only about six months of use. I discovered it hadn't done much to protect my seats when I took it off. There was a ton of debris to vacuum up, and discovering spills after they had been sitting for so long was annoying. With this cover, I don't anticipate experiencing that problem. It is thick and provides incredible coverage. The spaces for the seat belt clips are large enough to accommodate them, but I also appreciate that it also velcros shut at these locations. Additionally, it is a huge plus if the sides and bottom of the backseat are completely covered. Everything is neatly tucked in and appears modern.Just in case anybody else is receiving this to keep kids away from... I had car seats, and I was able to use LATCH to reinstall them into the backseat without any obstruction from the cover or leaving any areas of the seat exposed. The fabric is quite sturdy, and the zippers have never failed me.Additionally, I appreciate how the corners zip up. serving as something like to a boxed-in space in the back seat. The real test will likely come when I wash it because the last seat cover I had completely disintegrated after being washed in a washing machine. Last but not least, I removed the side windows from my Jeep and used the included straps to hold up the sides. They were useful, but also required. I suppose it's good that they, along with the seat belt, thought to include those as a bonus.Still spending hours on Amazon like I do when making a purchase like this? Just purchase this. This was just installed this morning in the back seat of my 2014 Ford F-150 Super Crew. I had to quickly fetch my camera so I could finish this evaluation. This seat saver/cover is fantastic! It is quite well-built. The straps are all expertly sewn on. I don't think they will ever come off. Even better, you may secure the seat in place by inserting the little bar-like object that has handles on each side of the inseam into the bottom back of the seat.My dog adores the see-through mesh center piece. My dog kept attempting to leap over another cover I had since he couldn't see us, and it didn't have mesh. He simply jumped in the back this morning, laid down, and observed me through the mesh. Additionally, the mesh is highly robust. It also features a zipper that can be used to open the mesh to the front and zip it down.Although the side door covers are wonderful, you must attach them to grab grips on the interior roof. I had to get a bit creative because my truck has handles on the "A" pillars, but it still works, and I adore the sides because my dog's claws used to always create the most horrifying scratching noise on the plastic door panel, but not anymore! The sides protect the side of the seat and zip down.The XL cover I purchased fits my seat well. For a last-minute road trip with our dog, I bought this. He typically has the entire back portion of an SUV to himself (with the seats pushed down). We needed the space behind the backseats to store our baggage and other items for this trip. Toby would only be able to access the backseats themselves, then (with the seatback upright). We were concerned about how the leather seats would look after the journey because the car is still quite new. Installing it was really simple (less than 5 minutes). We were surprised by how well this worked. Although the primary focus was on protecting the seats, it accomplished much more.
