When she's hungry, my German Shepherd will eat these, but she doesn't view them as "true" treats. She normally accepts them from me in exchange for her quitting pleading for the other sweets. But after a few of them, my next-door neighbor remarked on how white her teeth had become. She is 8 years old and was severely mistreated before I adopted her six months ago. Her teeth being so effortlessly clean while I worked on other issues with the animal was fantastic. These have also assisted in making her poop heaps rather than puddles, if you know what I mean.But in an effort to lighten her load and save money, I divided the larger sections into two or three strips and cut the medium pieces in half. Less waste, less mess, and also less waist! She doesn't actually complete all of the major ones, so it doesn't bother her.She doesn't enjoy those tiny bits (because she is a very huge dog) and she just swallows them if she eats them so her teeth don't get polished. I am aware that this company also offers the Bichon Fries, which are smaller portions.Naturally, my neighbor is also purchasing these for her two dogs.

My dog appears to enjoy and have no problems eating these crispy treats.I initially mistook them for rawhide, which must be chewed thoroughly. But they resemble chips more. As soon as she begins to nibble, bits start to fall off. Recommendations are only valid for dogs who thoroughly chew their food.These might not be ideal if you have a glutton who inhales their meal because the bits are dry, brittle, and possibly pointy.

These are wonderful goodies that not only keep our dog occupied but also brush his teeth.Our pup, a 35-pound mixed terrier and cow, adores these. They are rather big, so I had to use heavy-duty tin snips to cut them in half before handing them to him. As a special treat, I give him one half chip about three times per week. Each time, they keep him occupied for at least 20 minutes. You can choose dependent on how long you want to keep your dog entertained because some are thicker and others are thinner.They leave no stains, messes, or noticeable odors. The ideal canine treat! My two tiny chihuahua mixes and my 80-pound mastiff mix all adore these. The fact that these chips are rather huge and thick made me very happy. One will probably never be finished by the 18-pound dog, and it takes my large boy about an hour to chew one up. None of them also let out any offensive farts. For comparison, my 65-pound lab-mix dog can chew rather forcefully.I had to figure out how to keep them airtight because the rawhide comes in a big bag without a seal. I'm not certain if this is required.I purchase these flat rawhide chews because, in contrast to other rawhide chews that come in different forms, my veterinarian said that the pieces that break off from these are easily digested. My physician also claims that these will help keep my dog's teeth clean through continuous chewing, in contrast to other dental chews like Greenies, which my dog eats in about 30 seconds flat.The illustration shows how the components' sizes vary considerably. The bigger portions, which are, in my opinion, way too big to give to my dog, will probably be challenging to cut in half. I got them since the brand I often get from Amazon almost doubled in price, which prompted me to look elsewhere. With all the ECO, 100% natural, no preservatives, etc. claims, these appeared decent. I'm not sure if these are just shady marketing gimmicks or if they're true.My dog thoroughly enjoyed them and finished one in exactly 20 minutes. Because so many of the chips are thin—too many are virtually paper thin and translucent—and even though I will continue to buy this product, I can only give it a rating of 4. There are surprisingly few that are as "thick" as they claim.I was relieved to find a product that is safe for my dog after doing some research and seeing how these types of items can be packed with hazardous chemicals when made overseas, as so many are. I met with a US manufacturer who claimed to have had them manufactured abroad under his direct supervision. I can't help but question how accurate that may be, especially given that they were produced in China, a country with a terrible safety record overall. I wonder how he is able to closely control the manufacturing process from the US, as he said. He seems a little offended by my questions. He might have been entirely honest, and he presented his argument, but I concluded the risk wasn't worth it for his Chinese product.These are safe, but they aren't thick enough in my opinion. It is disappointing and a false generalization about the product. Other than that, they'll probably make your dog happy, and that's what really matters, right?
