Can you cover a dog kennel with a tarp?

However, some dogs may not like the feeling of being restricted by a blanket and may prefer to sleep without one. If you are unsure whether your dog likes being covered by a blanket, try observing how they sleep without one first. If they seem restless or uncomfortable, it may be best to not cover them with a blanket.

HiCaptain Double Door Dog Crate Cover(Fits 24 30 36 42 48 inches Wire Crate) Review:

To fit our enormous crate, we chose the 48". Fits perfectly, has toggle ties on each of the four corners, and zips up neatly. This exactly fits our crate's side door, which we utilize. We share a crate with both of our dogs, and our prior crate cover was the Midwest inexpensive black velcro poly cover. Our Boston pulled it in and repeatedly tore the sides off (I stitched it back a few times and even stitched it to the crate corners). I saw this one as I was about to purchase an expensive, "indestructible" cover from K9 Ballistics with a warranty. I decided it was worth a try considering the cost. He can't grab anything because it fits so snugly, and the zippers are great. Although I would have purchased black if it had been available in our size, I believe I am better with the khaki. It is made of a beautiful, strong canvas material.

Petsfit Durable Double Door Polyester Dog Crate Cover with Mesh Window Review:

I read the reviews after ordering it and had second thoughts because they claimed it wasn't suitable for use outdoors, but it had already been shipped, so I decided to give it a try. I don't understand why they claimed it wasn't suitable because it is wind and water proof. Since we live in Hawaii and our winters, while mild, can get into the 40s and I have a warming bed for my little guy, I was wanting a better cover. The one I had previously was flimsy and had small Velcro pieces to close the edges and was essentially useless, and the cold nights had me worried for my little guy. I have it on our lanai, which is covered, but I wouldn't have it outside unprotected because it's so nice but this is I particularly like that there is a tiny Velcro attachment so that as he enters and exits, the door will still provide him with wind protection by closing behind him. Sincerely, I couldn't be happier; in my perspective, it's wonderful. I appreciate how sturdy the fabric is; when my little one bounces on top of it, I won't have to worry about his nails ripping or scratching it because it's so well-made and has a good thickness to it. I heartily endorse it!

This cover serves its intended purpose of concealing a dog cage. The fact that it has a zipper to reveal either side door is convenient; it's the only one I could locate with that feature. While the other dogs only used the short side door on their cages, my dog only utilizes the large side door. Up until this point, I had a filthy blue sheet covering the cage, so this thing looks wonderful!! In the cold, my dog simply needs some wind protection. This will remain on our porch, where it won't be exposed to the elements, so I anticipate it will hold up nicely. It fastens to the cage so that it cannot blow away in the wind or be removed in any other way. Some customers complained that their dog chewed up their product, but the business is not to blame for it! Although he hasn't bothered it, my dog is over the chewing/puppy stage. However, I much prefer this item than the ugly tarp, and it cost just $30, so that's not too awful.

HONEST OUTFITTERS Dog Crate Cover, Dog Kennel Cover for Medium and Large Dog, Heavy Duty Oxford Fabric, with Double Door, Pockets and Mesh Window Review:

Our 10-month-old boxer appears to enjoy having a den-like atmosphere in her crate; since since acquiring it, she occasionally goes in even to lay down. Since she doesn't wake up as early either, it has allowed us to sleep in on the weekends. She can't get to it to chew it up like she could with blankets, which is a bonus for us (since we were using a blanket).

I was pleasantly delighted by the cover's quality when it was delivered today; but, since this is for inside usage only, I am unable to comment on outdoor use. I am not and have not received any form of payment; I am simply sick of phoney reviews. I'll be writing HONESTY reviews for every item I purchase from Amazon going forward.

yotache Dog Crate Cover for 18 22 24 30 36 48 Inches Double Door Wire Dog Cage, Lightweight 600D Polyester Indoor/Outdoor Durable Waterproof Pet Kennel Covers, Gray Review:

It works alright, it's nice, and I like the idea behind it, but I wish they came in sizes smaller than this. I have a yorkie, and his kennel is the size smaller than the one I bought because I couldn't find another one I liked. Additionally, my dog doesn't like to be completely covered, so this one has the opening on one side so he can look around. Therefore, it works, but it's so big that I have to find ways to keep it attached It's irritating. Therefore, I assume it would work perfectly if they have the true size of it.

:: REVISED REVIEWThe business contacted me, and after exchanging a few emails, they sent me the most recent version. The beautiful tie wrap around ties are still present, and the updated version still has the same end velcro. The side door is considerably better because it has two side zippers and is broader, which makes it simpler to open without being constrained by the cover. Additionally, it is substantially lighter in weight than the previous model, which has so far helped to eliminate the occasionally unpleasant odor. I did offer some suggestions that would be useful for upcoming covers. However, I adore this new one because it's lighter, fits the crate like a glove, and has adorable little straps to hold the side door open. PRIMARY REVIEWI wish I had given the product more thought. The side door cannot be opened by this cover because it was designed with the side opening in the centre and the crate door off to one side. However, as we are only using one entrance at the moment, it will function for the time being. If I wish to use the side door, I'll need to get a new style.
