Since we don't have strong freezes in North Carolina, our outside dog is totally coated in fleas almost the entire year. Nothing has worked despite our attempts to treat him with Frontline, Capstar, Program, Advantage, flea collars, flea shampoos, flea spray around the barn where he stays, diatomaceous earth, brewers yeast and garlic, cedar oil, and cedar chip bedding.
