People who say birds won't use them should give the birds time to get used to it because it's a new item in their cage. My four cockatiels love standing on their food boxes, so I bought these platforms knowing they would use them. For our Amazon, we bought this Parrot Playstand, and she adores it! She is ready to go to her stand in the morning, and if I am too slow for her, she will fly to the patio sliding glass doors and yell for me to allow her out. It was challenging to build because the directions were unclear. Sometimes holes didn't quite line up properly, and I had to pry out any residual metal in certain holes that weren't completely drilled through. But once it was put together, it only took an hour to figure it out, and (apart from the tray, which doesn't seem to fit quite properly) it does seem fairly strong. Given that it is significantly less expensive than other stands, I believe the trade-off is fair. My quaker parrot spent the entire evening yelling from the top of the ladder because he was SO EXCITED to climb it up and down! He had no trouble going up and down, which relieved my concern that a smaller bird could find the bar spacing to be too much. When we arrive, he leans forward from the ladder and kisses us. He loves it so much, therefore I'm extremely delighted with my purchase. I enjoy that I can hang toys from the top and that it is simple to move. It's a fantastic option for a young bird because it allows them lots of space to play and climb.

This little perch is lovely. When we are working at the table, my bird enjoys perching there. I appreciate that I can transfer it to different places as well. I like the base as well. Although I'm sure it needs to be that big to keep the perch stable and upright, it does a good job of catching excrement. For me, that is a small advantage right there. It includes the base, a little screwdriver, two screws, and pre-drilled dowels with tiny plastic holders for the screws. Since it has those parts within the dowels to keep the screws tight, I don't believe this perch will become unstable. straightforward to assemble If you don't feel like putting something together yourself, I advise trying this. This was ideal for me because I'm too lazy to go out and purchase the components.

This ended up being the ideal solution for what we were looking for so that our African Grey may occasionally join us in the living room. It wasn't very big and was simple to put together. We thought it to be straightforward, and the provided directions were quite clear, so we're not sure why others had such difficulty. Additionally, individuals claimed that theirs arrived broken due to inadequate packaging. This one arrived quite tightly packaged with plastic and Styrofoam preserving everything, so we were startled to hear that. Even the tools required to tighten the screws were included, along with all the necessary parts. The medium size that we bought is the perfect fit for our Grey. We anticipated that it would take him about a month to get used to it because he is 30 years old and terrified of everything. When he easily climbed up on it and began eating, taking care of himself, and talking as if he had grown up on it, we were shocked. Whatever the reason, we are quite happy. We believe that it may have helped since we placed some of his favorite treats in the food bowls. We do, however, wish there was some way to control the meal dishes. It won't take him long to figure out that he can simply flip them out of the rings and drop his food everywhere.We've been using this for a while now; an update. The bird is so enamored with it that he keeps requesting to "go get on the perch?" He used to throw his dishes, but we've fixed that now. To hold the dishes in place, we merely bored holes in them and secured them with clamps. He now faces the difficulty of trying to get them out. I included two photos showing the clamps.

I had previously purchased a cage stand. The quality of the table-style stands I've used in the past has never pleased me, and they tend to take up a lot of room. Additionally, the storage racks that come with them always appear cluttered when I use them. This was a wonderful, straightforward space-saving option.The quality is not outstanding, nor does the appearance stand out. Even so, it meets my needs and is still reasonably priced. The base of the stand has a firm enough grasp on everything above it that an incidental bump here and there doesn't effect it. The stand currently supports a cage that weighs a little over 13 lbs without any obvious strain.The longest piece in the center has a slight tilt after assembly, which I didn't enjoy. I also wish extra nuts had been sent to conceal the protruding screw heads at the base for aesthetic purposes. The few small problems are vastly outweighed by the benefits. All in all, a fantastic product that I'd suggest to anyone searching for a good cage stand on a tight budget.

The size of a bird cage matters because it needs to be big enough for the bird to move around in and also have enough space to fly. If the cage is too small, it can cause the bird to become stressed and even sick.
You will need some supplies before you start making your bird cage out of wire. You will need a roll of wire, wire cutters, and pliers. You will also need a measuring tape to make sure your cage is the right size for your bird. First, you will need to cut the wire to the correct size. Make sure to leave enough wire so that you can twist it around the bars of the cage. Next, you will need to twist the wire around the bars of the cage. Make sure the wire is tight so that your bird cannot escape.
The size of the birdcage will determine how many perches should be inside. A small cage may only need one perch, while a large cage could have three or more. The important thing is to make sure that the perches are spread out so that the bird has plenty of room to move around.
A bird should be fed at least once a day, although twice a day is better. If you are feeding a baby bird, it will need to be fed more often.
