In my brand-new garage, I installed 2 of these. I was ecstatic about how much light I now have. In my previous garage, I had 5 fluorescent light fixtures installed. It is flat and light, as I have mentioned. The matte silver, aluminum-colored finish is excellent and looks great. No shadow areas exist since the circle is completely lit. It's so bright that direct eye contact is challenging. Installing is not that difficult. Screw covers are effective at providing a neat finish on the face. The light distribution is somewhat narrower because it is a flat downlight. There are a few dark areas in the higher corners of the walls in mine because the ceiling is lower (7 feet). Integrated LED lighting fixtures are not my favorite because they frequently lack brightness and cannot be made brighter by merely changing a bulb. This is in a sparsely populated neighborhood, but it provides ample, pleasing light for that space. It takes a half second for the light to turn on when you turn on the switch when the light is cold or hasn't been used for a while, deducting 1 star. However, it has at least been operating confidently for two months. We'll see whether it persists.

In order to assess how the temperature and lighting would effect the places I wanted to illuminate, I initially bought one set of 6500K color temperature lights and one set of 4000K color temperature lights. Given that the ceilings in my basement workshop are significantly lower than those in my garage, where there are 11-foot ceilings, I chose the 4000K lights instead of the 6500K ones since they are much gentler on the eyes if you happen to gaze at them.In my two-car garage, I used three sets (18 fixtures) of 6500K lighting. Each bay has two strips of four lights, while the middle has a strip of two lights. Given that you won't always require lighting, I wired the left bay, center, and right bay so that each is on its own switch. Because of how bright they are, you can see details you never would have previously. For basic tasks like moving through the garage and loading goods out of cars, the two center lights are more than plenty. I may turn on the lights in the appropriate parts if I need to work on the cars or any other job in the garage. In the first image, my garage is shown with its original illumination (2 x 60 Watt incandescent bulbs), while in the second, my Barrina lights have been installed. Having built a few stores in my life, I knew that I needed a big amount of light, which normally means paying a good amount of money. I was looking for lighting choices for my new shop (30'x60' Metal Building), and I knew that this meant a good deal of light.I had a guy come in and install the insulation and the metal sheeting after I had poured my slab and built the Red Iron portion of my shop. Since I had never done this before, I felt more comfortable paying someone who does it for a living to do it correctly so that I wouldn't have to worry about leaks.I questioned him about the optimum kind of lighting for my project as he started to install the insulation and aluminum. He explained to me that he had constructed another business for a buddy and had utilized LED lighting, which "I knew from study was quite expensive." He continued by saying that his friend had informed him the lighting was fantastic and it was extremely affordable, so he bought a 12-pack of these lights for his own building and was pleased at how well they performed. With that in mind, I requested him to provide me the lighting's specifications. Even though the lighting had a lot of positive reviews before it arrived, most of them were from customers who had installed one or two in homes with low ceilings. "My shop walls are 12 feet tall with a maximum height of 15 feet in the middle, and I had planned to install the lights directly to the perlins at about 13 feet," I said.When the first 12 pack of lights I ordered arrived, they all seemed to be in excellent condition and included all the necessary hardware. They are also VERY light in weight.After installing the first 12 lights, I put them in and, WOW, they were far better than I had anticipated. However, due to my own lighting needs I made the decision to place another order, but ING no longer offered the 12-pack bundles, so I bought two packs of eight lights each instead, making a total of 16 extra lights when I really only needed six to finish the ceiling lighting. However, I figured I would just get a few extra to put on the walls and to have on hand in case any of mine went out. I have 18 lights in all on my roof, which is more than enough to light up my 30' x 60' shop, which is 1800 SF. These tiny lights are fantastic for all of your lighting needs, in my opinion.If you had to go out and purchase brand-new fluorescent fixtures from your neighborhood box store, you would have to pay at least $20 per fixture plus the cost of bulbs and require roughly the same number of fixtures and bulbs, bringing your total after taxes for bulbs and fixtures to about $500. Additionally, the lighting would not be as pristine or as bright.For the money, the LED fixtures offer the best value in terms of light output, simplicity of installation, and attractive appearance.

In the master closet of the most recent house we bought and renovated, we had a pull chain light. After considerable consideration and some Amazon browsing, I discovered this really cheap hardwired, motion, LED light. Our favorite! My husband claimed it was simple to install in our 4 x 14-foot closet (5 minutes from old light removal to full installation, without cutting), and it brightly illuminates the entire closet (corner to corner). I purchased the four-pack of lights. There were no broken pieces, and they were properly packed. Bolts for mounting to the junction box, plastic anchor inserts with screws, and hollow wall type screws are all examples of installation hardware. The bolt heads of the junction box bolts hardly make contact with the metal, so I believe flat washers should have been included.The junction box's installation was simple, but the directions were completely illogical. With both bolts mounted, the cutouts would not allow a 90 degree twist. physical impossibility I was able to utilize plastic anchor screws at the ends and position the fixture as a result. The fixture itself was rather light and frail, but that shouldn't be a problem unless you want to bang it about or hang things from it.In comparison to the two-bulb fluorescent fixtures they replaced, the lights were around 20% brighter. Over a broad area, the light was rather evenly dispersed. The lights turned on immediately, and unlike other lights I've read about, there was no hum or buzz. The wire inputs' central cover is absent. Nothing wrong with placing this in a garage or shop, but for inside the house, you'd want something a little finer. Given the cost, this is decent.

The lights from the Designers Fountain were just what the doctor wanted. In order to prepare the home for sale, I had to replace four lights that were broken during painting but were quite identical to one another. The was delivered in good condition and with thorough installation instructions.They are more difficult to install, as others have noted, because the extremely scratchy fiberglass insulation covers the screw holes. Since I am utilizing LED lights, I had to remove the insulation that was in between the light and the ceiling. In my opinion, the insulation was placed there to be used with conventional bulbs because of how much heat they produce.After I got rid of the scratchy crap, installing them wasn't too difficult. Every light in the housing has three wires. All of the ones I got had twin light fittings. Before climbing the ladder, I advise twisting the wires on the lamp that match up together. Then, all that is left to do is firmly combine the two lines—the twisted wires and the wall wires.The glass is swirled white and has a decent but flush screw thing holding it on. The color is a lovely dark Oil Rubbed Bronze.I looked at Lowe's and Home Depot and saw comparable things there for a lot more money than I spent, even though they were the exact same as what I had ordered.These ceiling lights are great if you need new lights that are relatively easy to hang and have some electrical knowledge.

I was terribly let down! In a small closet in our older house, I wanted to put this. The 13' ceilings are difficult to reach. I thus mounted it over the interior of the door. Nothing happens when I open the door. I literally have to wave my hand in the air to turn on the light. After the light is on for around 30 seconds, I must wait for another 20 seconds before waving my hand again in the hopes that the light would turn back on. This light is essentially a CEILING light and is worthless elsewhere. Additionally, nothing that could even remotely obstruct its restricted ability to detect motion must exist. Additionally, as I already indicated, it does not last very long at all. Do what needs to be done and leave. A STAR!UPDATE: Mr. Beams contacted me (see their comment). They have very kindly offered to swap out the MB990 for an MB970, a brand-new model that appears to better suit my requirements. They also suggested that I send the MB990 back in the same package as the replacement and ship it. Additionally, the C-cell batteries used in the MB970 will be used to swap out the D-cell batteries used in the MB990.Customer support has been AMAZING! Once the procedure is through, I'll give you one last update. Three stars or more!UPDATE #2 I got the MB970 as a replacement. It fulfills my needs well. It may be fixed to a wall and turned to point the light in the right direction. It is simple to put together and fasten to the wall. Bright and ideal for my closet, the light! Hooray!
