I wrote this review for the 30-piece set of woodworking blades. I decided to submit it as well because it also pertains to the diverse 30 pack for metal and woodworking. This is it:The words "Bosch" and "Swiss Made" are inscribed on the side of these blades (for Bosch) They have terrifyingly sharp blades. You should put on gloves before installing them, according to the instructions. I chose to forego the gloves because my ego told me otherwise. When one of the blades softly touched or, perhaps, simply grazed against my finger, my flesh quickly tore into a fine shred. Oops. I have gloves now. These items are undoubtedly sharp. In any category, I don't have any blade that is as sharp as these. When utilizing these, use caution. This, of course, makes a fantastic jig saw blade. They move through the material with ease. You can complete any task with three distinct levels of coarseness. Ten of each coarse, medium, and fine item are included in the 30 pack. You get metal and woodworking blades in the mixed pack. Review the item description.I used the jig saw to cut an edge on a piece of MDF using a 4x8 piece of leftover plywood as a reference. I barely touched it with a sanding block and 120 grit to create a factory edge because it was so even and smooth. For a jig saw, that is impressive.I cannot say enough good things about the Bosch jig saw that I am using these on. I've been told that these blades function nicely on any jig saw that accepts T-blade style blades.The cost is unbeatable. By the dozen, everything is less expensive. You may get a blade from the 30 pack at an unbeatable price that is far sharper and more durable than any other jig saw blade I have ever used.I also purchased the Bosch jig saw metal cutting blades. Jig saw blades must be replaced because of the odd materials and situations we subject them to, thus it makes sense to purchase a pack and save money. Simply make sure to put on some gloves when changing them, or try to limit your touching to the back edge.

I bought this blade collection and case because I needed a good case, and other people had given the case positive evaluations. The case's construction appears to be adequate. A welcome surprise is the steel hinge pin on the lids, which replaces the plastic one. The slide latches that keep the lids closed, in my opinion, slide TOO EASILY. The closed end of the journey does not positively click or snap, and it appears that they might easily be brushed or nudged into the open position. In the end, I took a soldering iron and "pushed" some plastic down on the lid so that the latch would have something to rub against when it was slid to the open position (see photo). The latches were quickly changed so that I feel confident in my ability to rely on them to remain closed.Each "slot" or compartment measures approximately 5 1/8" long by 1/2" broad by 3/8" deep and measures 2 1/8" wide by 1 1/4" thick by 6 1/4" long in the case.Construction of the case: ABS is used for the yellow portion, polypropylene for the slide latches, and I'm not sure what kind of plastic is used for the lids.good case construction and metal hinge pinsPoor slide latches; I had hoped for better from DeWalt.

These blades are rather good. They generally do a nice job with minimal tearout. With my brand-new Porter Cable PC600JS 6 jig saw, I purchased these. I've put off getting a jig saw for years because I already have a gorgeous 17" band saw and didn't see the need to invest the money.because I absolutely had to. Making some "atomic" mid-century modern coffee tables, however they are just too heavy to cut out on my saw table. therefore the jig saw.With one of these blades, I completed a few table forms, and the picture below illustrates the degree of tearout on the bottom. That is brand-new off the saw and unsanded. Since I was expecting much worse, I was surprised by how clean the cut was.The board had been cleaned of what you can see in this picture, and the edge was nearly spotless. I don't have any pictures of tearout on the top of the table because it was covered off with blue tape to prevent any from happening.I removed the stuff with some 220 grit paper, which made me very happy. Tonight, I'll edge-band and stain the piece.I also appreciate how easy blade replacements are.

I was cutting and scoring rigid foam board insulation with a utility knife in preparation for installing it on the basement walls. I did not like how it broke after scoring (straight, but not at all smooth). Additionally, the material eats utility blades, and cutting it was giving me quite a workout. When asked how to cut it, a contractor buddy suggested using a table saw (messy but quick), a hot wire cutter (clean edges but can be sluggish and only good for the amount of cutter you have), an electric knife (like for carving a turkey), or a jig saw with knife blades. I chose the last alternative.My jigsaw's blades perform admirably, and the cuts are incredibly clean, straight, and smooth. Although it wasn't as quick as a table saw, the cutting speed was quick enough to not be an issue. I saw other reviews where the blade was supposed to have moved about and caused cuts that weren't straight, but I didn't experience that. During the cuts, I took care to keep the saw perpendicular to the surface and avoid moving it in any direction. For me, the blade remained straight.I used a single blade to cut through two inches of Foamular 150 in roughly ten 8' long cuts. Halfway through the cuts, it started to go a little dull. I dressed it a little on a wet stone I have; it came back to life and the remaining cuts were completed without any issues. For upcoming tasks, I still have 2 brand-new blades in the package.

Unaware that the 18V jig saw doesn't accept the old-style blades, the buyer purchased one. I placed an order for them and then used the jig saw. The blades are extremely acute. I can see the cutting edges are spotless and have been ground at the right angle with a 20x magnification. A 3/8 inch steel round stock was cut through by the saw's metal cutting blade in roughly 20 seconds. Even with masking tape covering the area to be cut, the wood cutting blades still leave a lot of rough, splintery edges. Overall, they perform admirably. Cut straight and quickly. With the 20x magnification, I examined the metal blade after a few cuts, and it was clear that the teeth had not experienced significant wear. Please take note that whenever I cut metal, I always use cutting oil. It speeds up cutting, extends the life of the blades, and, particularly with cordless instruments, extends the battery charge. probably increases the tool's lifespan as well.I'll definitely order these again.

Bosh produces quality blades and equipment. They scrimp and save on packaging and cases, just like everyone else (except Festool). Regarding these examples' shortcomings, other people have made a number of reasonable comments. After reading these evaluations, I removed the blades from their blister packaging and placed them in the case. the 4 wells in the container keep everything organized and easy to find. Nothing major. The fact that the blades are Bosh says it everything, in my opinion. the ideal point where cost and effectiveness meet. Better still when on sale. With a coupon and free shipping, I believe I was able to get it for around $20; not a bad deal. much less expensive than purchasing them in 5 pack.

To be fair, I just got this item today and haven't used it yet. BUT it was immediately clear that using it as shipped would be challenging. Sharp protrusions from the mold it was made in were left on the surface that rides along the edge of whatever you're cutting at both ends. Normally, these are eliminated as part of the quality assurance procedure, but not in this instance. If used as it is intended to be used, the sharp edges will catch on the edge you are sliding it along. At the very least, you should sand it using medium grit paper. To get rid of any sandpaper stains, I quickly used a Scotch Brite pad after this. It is now as smooth as a baby's bottom, as it ought to have been from the beginning. It feels like a solid product other from that. The plastic T-section grips the metal bar firmly and doesn't budge or move in any way. I anticipate that this will be a fantastic addition to my Skilsaw, and the fact that it also works with my jigsaw and DeWalt cordless simply makes the deal that much better. If it weren't for the poor quality control, I would have awarded it five stars, even with the low price. Purchase it, repair it, utilize it, and be pleased!
