My three-year-old faucet, which is no longer sold on Amazon, has practically lost all of its functionality. It had no water pressure unless you got it going well and held the button since the button did not switch the flow continuously. This surfaced when I started looking for a universal replacement. There are no instructions given upon arrival. Although it appears fairly simple, I had to perform a little engineering to make my setup work even with the additional connectors. The top continued to leak. The problem was finally resolved when I realized that I could stack the original gasket with the one that came with it to get enough clearance. As stated in our contract when our house was being built, we had selected a "pull-down" faucet, so when it broke, we purchased that replacement component. We discovered that what we truly DO HAVE is a "pull-out" faucet after consulting with the vendor. The new part we ordered again works perfectly (see third picture).I wanted to update this review to let everyone know that the first component's failure was our own fault and that the vendor here helped us get the right part in a terrific way. They even advised us to keep the incorrect part, but we will return it because we don't need it.I am currently upset with the builder, but it is too late for them to do anything to ensure that I receive what I truly paid for. :(Although the product SEEMS to be an exact replica of our current (leaking) hose, the swivel-end connecting to the spray handle is larger than the original, making it impossible for the handle to fit back into the faucet after being connected—as another user put it, it simply hangs down.

This sprayer was purchased to replace one that came out of the box with a poor finish that was scraping away the bronze and left behind shiny gold plastic. It is clear that this device won't experience that issue. It's robust, the finish is either permanent or very well-cured (it's plastic, but the bronze looks like metal), and there isn't a "shiny overlay" as there was on my prior one, which had a peeling shiny overlay. Although it has a more eggshell-like texture, it seems considerably more durable.You get the standard sink flow, spray flow, and a "blade" mode, which is apparently for scraping food off of plates (and it's actually pretty excellent at this, particularly with the heat turned up). The flow options are fantastic. A rocker switch on the sprayer is used to manage the first two flow settings, while a separate button is used to control the third setting. In contrast to the switch for regular and spray flow, this one requires pressing and holding down a button while "blading."My one and only issue is that blade mode generates an excessive amount of steam. Although we rarely use it, it is a vast improvement over my previous faucet.

I saw some black sediment coming out of our Glacier Bay kitchen faucet when it was running at full blast. The company responded to my email by advising me to simply change the head for $45! I chose to gamble on this one, and it works out nicely. Simple installation: just unscrew the old one and screw the new one in. The color matches the rest of the faucet's brushed nickel finish.This faucet head keeps track of the last setting. The spray setting will remain active the next time you turn on the faucet if you set it to spray and then turn it off. Our previous one always returned to streaming when it was turned off. I gave it five stars for durability, but I can't say for sure yet. It works well and was precisely what I needed. The original faucet head I previously owned had a rubber push button switch, but after less than 18 months of use, it had worn away, developed a hole, and finally broken off. The price of changing the rubber cover was equal to that of replacing the head entirely. The hard toggle switch on this one allows you to choose between the full stream and spray modes. additional benefit of the powerful fan spray. We bought a brand-new faucet for our brand-new kitchen in April 2018. The button that changes the device from spray to stream was covered in rubber on the one we purchased. I recently purchased a brand-new Delta 21988LF two-handle faucet with a side sprayer, but anytime I turn the faucet on, the side sprayer leaks. I've already gone through two of them, and both of them leaked whenever the water was running from the nozzle. I decided to try the Houtingmaan sprayer, and hey presto, no leaks. The only thing I have to say is that the Delta RP54807 sprayer has a wider spray pattern. Although the pressure is good, the spray pattern is too narrow. This works well to wash dishes, but not so well to wash vegetables. The nozzle orifices may probably be adjusted to fix this, but even so, the sprayer still functions and I don't have to worry about water leaks harming my cabinets. We can only hope that it will last for a very long time.

Yet another instance of "Amazon Prime Product To The Rescue" They sent it to my home quicker and for less money than I could have done so at any of the "Homeowner Hell" type hardware supercenters in the Houston region, which no longer carry this particular design.No gaps when seated, and it takes out and re-seats just as effortlessly as the original Glacier Bay ("Milano" Model 64CR576LFHD) nozzle it replaced; it looks, fits, and functions exactly like the original. There is no bleedover between the aerator and spray modes; the diverter button has a solid detent action that is firm but smooth.Because the original Glacier Bay nozzle it replaced only lasted 8 months (yes, the entire faucet was installed NEW) before it cracked open in the middle of the head (not on a seam, as you might expect) and began peeing all over the place, hopefully it is better designed and manufactured than that one. I have hope because the diverter valve and aerator appear to be made differently in the KES nozzle's internals.It doesn't come with a flow regulator module in a threaded base like the Glacier Bay nozzle, but you can transfer the little module from your previous nozzle to this one if you like because it fits perfectly. This model has a significantly better flow than the original. Simply use the point of a pocket knife to pop it out, as seen in the second picture.

Good points: Compared to other filtration systems I've used, this one has a lot more streamlined design. Most are large and heavy and appear to be obstructions. But not this one. Compared to the Pur, the carbon filter is far more environmentally friendly. The water sprays out, as you can see in the picture. We'll see how it holds up since there are only three adults living there and no children.
