Four of these are illuminating my carport. They function similarly to many commercial lighting systems, which keep the light on when motion is detected by "radar" for 30 seconds before turning it off. When I approach the internal entrance, the motion detector detects me inside the home and turns on the garage light closest to it before I enter the garage. No more frantically waving my arms to activate the old motion lights or forgetting to switch off a light without detection. Because the 6000k wavelength was too white for me, I did cover the glass on each fixture with yellow translucent tape.

Like: Excellent price; modern and fashionable design.Small flaws in the entire light fixture are disliked. I sprayed paint it because the bottom had numerous tiny scrapes. Since there are flaws everywhere, I should have just spray-painted the entire thing. It appears to be dirt or fingerprints, but it's not. However, it appears fantastic from a distance.A electrician installed it as well. Because the mounting bracket was bent, he had to fiddle with it (which made the light fixture sit uneven- very obvious). In the end, he succeeded.Although the price is excellent, I wish there weren't so many flaws.

I've always known that I wanted a pendant light over my island. Our kitchen island looks great with this light. It produces plenty of light, and we frequently receive compliments on it. The lamp was simple to assemble and appears to be of high quality. The fragments of glass were also of high quality and were unharmed. It came with everything I needed to install it, which was easy because it was swapping out an old, outdated light. I believe it was a terrific deal because the pricing was so reasonable when compared to other options we considered. They match and look excellent together because we purchased our lamp over the kitchen table from the same company. It was reasonably simple to install and arrived in a respectable package.The installation of the glass was the only challenge we encountered. It was a little challenging and frustrating. I kept fearing that we might shatter the glass. It can be challenging to draw back the black tabs, but don't be scared to force them down. It's not necessary to pull the tabs facing the top or bottom away from the lamp even though they have two sides (possibly merely for convenience in manufacture). Only the tabs facing the sides need to be pulled back. After that, insert the glass and press the tabs back into position so that they can hold it.A few of our glass pieces arrived with streaks (from foam wrapping) that no amount of cleaning could remove. When I contacted the sellers, they responded right away and took care of the problem without delay. They are courteous and competent. Without a doubt, I'd purchase another item from this vendor.

Loved it so much that I went back for another light! We utilised it in the kitchen as a semi-flush fixture and in our dining room as a chandelier with a dimmer control. It is really bright and complements our farmhouse's 150-year-old architecture beautifully. Both were well packed and simple for my husband to install. I was unsure because I had read the reviews. I noticed that rather than the black/gold model, the most of the negative reviews were in reference to the "Antique Gold" model color. I decided to publish a black and gold image because I hadn't seen any others.I was able to install this by myself using a ladder in under 2 hours, albeit I'm not at all an electrician. I did need to go to Home Depot to get a universal adjustable mount in order for the light to face in the direction I desired. This cost an additional $5 or so.Color and quality appear to be good. It's less dazzling gold and more of a dull gold (nearly brass), which is good for me. It is strong and doesn't have any issues with missing, warped, or broken pieces, as some other reviewers claimed. It might be possible that some of those issues are related to how it was handled during delivery, so I don't think it's acceptable to criticize the light for that.It only came with a parts list and didn't actually come with any instructions, but it's a basic light.Home Depot didn't have any 40w LED Edison type bulbs, despite the installation plan.The overall assembly time of two hours includes my choice to add a dimmer switch on the wall. I had to take off an extra link from the chain on the low side because my ceiling is angled. (They provide you with a ton of extra chain.)If you don't order the antique gold model or have it sent broken, you will adore this light for the price and quality.

I put everything together but haven't installed it yet. It appears to be rather sturdy, and I liked that it is made of real wood. It is "antiqued" to appear artificially aged. Regarding that, I have conflicting emotions. In addition, I wish the chains were simpler to height-adjust, and they didn't come with instructions. Although assembling it is straightforward, it would have been helpful to have some instructions on the electrical installation. I gave the business credit for responding quickly when I had questions concerning shipment. I've experienced a range of feelings so far; hopefully, after seeing it built, I'll feel a little better.
