Although I meant to get the 8 cylinder kit, I unintentionally ordered the 6 cylinder kit. Therefore, I returned this and got the 8 cylinder kit, paying the difference. I got the same brand and product, but with two extra sets of all the pieces. These will be of the same high caliber as the 8 cylinder set.

The oil rails are deemed unserviceable by Ford. These HHC Diesel employees are on the right track. After I purchased these and borrowed a tool, my truck was never the same again. Oil leaking from the rails and collecting on the top seal of the injector at where the nipple cup slots in caused me to drop a few injectors every year. I had three faulty injectors at the time of installation, so I purchased the Alliant injector seal kit, resealed all eight injectors, placed these seals in the oil rails, and now the HPOP is registering 3965 psi under WOT. Every injector is operating well. These seals must be used.

I appreciate how this tool works, however if you connect to a zerk that is nasty or dirty, the seal becomes easily shattered and never seals up to a zerk again. For 10 dollars, the rebuild kit just contains one tip. For the money spent, there need to be roughly 5 in the package. I've been using one for a while and generally enjoy it. My only other major complaint is that it can be challenging or impossible to use in tight spaces like u-joints or grease spots hidden under body panels with tiny access holes.

extremely affordable components. The only thing I could suggest is some directions! I had to spend hours scouring YouTube for instructions on how to remove filters from an injector because they didn't come with any, and let me tell you, it's not simple. PLEASE INCLUDE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE PACKAGING! A good product overall at a good price.
