I bought these grips to replace the ones on my 1997 Honda ATV. These grips are about 3/4 inch shorter than stockers ". Levers and switch gear must be shifted outward to account for the length discrepancy. There are weights for antivibration on my factory handlebars. If you intend to use the bar end weights, you will need to drill a hole in the end of these grips. The stock 7/8 of these grips will fit "bars are perfect. Being forceful like a motocross grip, be wary of these grips. You might require gloves when using these if you have soft hands like my wife does.Hint: Several individuals offer advice on various installation methods for these. For example, grip glue and hair spray.It worked great because I already had golf grip solvent on hand, and it can be found on Amazon or at most sporting goods stores. In a pinch, Mineral Spirits has previously worked on golf grips, and I would assume that it would work here as well. Before fitting, make sure to spray or coat the handlebar AND the interior of the grip. One at a time, please. Be efficient and avoid twisting the grips. The grips are prone to tearing, according to some persons. This is likely a result of the grips being pulled into position firmly despite being overly dry. I just purchased a CTX 1300 with 7/8" grips. I could not get acclimated to these because I was used to a large cruiser with kuryakyn grips. After even a little ride, they seemed IMPOSSIBLY tiny, and my hand began to cramp. Even when I added a crampbuster, it wasn't effective because it tended to slide off the (in my opinion too skinny) standard grips.These arrived to me a week ago, and they have made a HUGE difference. My grip heaters can still be felt through the grips, and the crampbuster—though entirely superfluous at this point—doesn't even slide around nearly as much. The grips now feel like they're a regular width for hands of typical size. If you're used to thick grips, they are in my opinion an absolute necessity.I can only speak for my own application if people are having installation issues. Put some electrical tape around the grip where I wanted to cut it while holding them up to the standard grips. Use a sharp knife to cut. Given that it was a little rough, I used the end I chopped to place onto the bars first. I cleaned the grip pups' interiors and the grips themselves with a little water and dish soap. Since the grips on the CTX are made of rubber, I expected it to take some effort to put them on. each side took under a minute. Simply twist and push once you've gotten them over the bar end weights. Voila, completed with minimal effort.When I needed to change the grips on my bike, these items really cut down on the time and effort I had to expend. To alleviate the discomfort I was experiencing, it appeared that I would have to give up my grip heaters and put on some sort of aftermarket grips. These were installed on a Brute Force 750, and the outcomes are better than I anticipated. During chilly rides, they unquestionably keep your hands and throttle thumb warm. I therefore had the opportunity to create my BP40CC grips. Using the poly mating lines, I used blue tape to make a template for one half of the grip, mirrored it for the other side, and added a length that would wrap completely around the finger side and halfway back across the left grip. As a result, the edge wouldn't lift or peel prematurely from my fingertips grabbing on it. Your fingers and/or hand will constantly rub against the seam if the grip is left at the finger area, the right palm swell (left for lefties), or the back of the grip, which will result in an early lifting of the edge. Keep this in mind, since I believe it to be the second most typical cause of early failure and the reason why I don't really like the "pre-cut" grip tapes.I then used a knife to carve the form into a single piece. A paper towel soaked in rubbing alcohol was used to clean the grip and the pistol. After that, a clean paper towel was used to wipe the grip region once more, making sure to thoroughly clean all of the stippling's nooks and crannies. This is arguably the most crucial component and the main reason for the majority of failures. Clean it up.Then, starting at the middle line of the left finger, I progressively wrapped it around the grip, adjusting it to the shapes and lines as I went. To make the tape a little more malleable and simple to handle, use a hairdryer set to Hot temperature, Low air. It only needs a few seconds of heat. However, don't apply pressure to the tape just yet because you might need to reposition it. Relief cuts at the top and bottom of the rear grip were ultimately necessary for me (butt). Just make two short "vees." If I hadn't, it would have pleated (folded), especially at the bottom, but because that one was so small, it did not.After that, use the hairdryer to warm up the tape and apply it firmly. I applied heat for roughly 20 seconds per location, then repeated the process, this time making sure it fit the front and back by stippling grooves with my fingernails. Not because you should like it, just because I did.I then used blue tape to cut out and adhere the thumb portions.See images.I've drawn on it more than a dozen times in just a few days, and so far it has held up. delivers a greater grip and feels comfortable in the hand. Beautiful grips, but they are too short for my present setup. I can't fault the grip for that because you can adjust your controls and shorten the throttle tube to fit a shorter grip, but these ended up being much too short for my bike. I don't feel awful about just not using these, either, because they are so reasonably priced.Even though it isn't the softest grip available (check out Oury grips for extremely plush), it does look comfy. The fact that the end caps on these are made of a tougher substance than the grey grip portion is one of its nicer features. This is excellent because the bar and throttle will be better protected if you tip the bike over.

I use these while working in the fields on my ATV. They function well to keep everything in its place, but because of the nature of my profession, I frequently have to take them off and put them back on.The only drawback is that they do stretch out occasionally from hot and cold weather and intermittent use, so I just change them with new ones. I purchased these quantities to convert an extremely worn-out Bob Revolution stroller into a useful shotgun buggy. I use this buggy to transport two shotguns and ammunition to the 14 sporting clay stations at a nearby shotgun club.The shotgun mounts perform admirably. Even without utilizing the security strap, there is no problem with the shotgun slipping or falling out. Shotguns are simple to load and unload, making life at the range considerably simpler.Unfortunately, some of the mounting equipment is not entirely working. Long and short hardware would be included, according to the description. Only long 3" screws were included in mine. The screwheads are pliable and prone to distortion. The grooves in the screw head cannot support the force required to screw on the nylon-filled nut to the screw. A screw head that is almost stripped off is the end consequence.I spent $10 at the hardware store to purchase my own hardware. Instead of a nut packed with nylon, I went with one that has a lock washer. This gear is more than sufficient for the 5mph we walk at when moving from station to station since I'm not mounting it on an atv.A shotgun buggy works really well with the Bob Revolution stroller, as a side note. Even with two shotguns on one side, quite stable. The bob revolution requires a few modifications, but they are simple to do by unscrewing a few screws at the point where the nylon is joined to the frame. No need for permanent changes or cutting. For $70, you can purchase these on Craigslist.

I perused all the negative reviews before purchasing these. But I still decided to buy them because I liked the idea so much. Even if I did encounter some of the issues mentioned in reviews, they can be fixed. My 4-wheeler rack was securely affixed to the base. Just make sure to cover the top and bottom of each clamp with rubber. When I tried to mount them, I discovered the rubber was actually two pieces bonded together even though it appeared to be only two when it was shipped. The two Allen screws that keep the grip together were loose, which led to the wobble. They could be slightly tightened to eliminate the wobble. Spraying some W-D40 on the claw hinge does wonders. When they are holding something, I discovered that if you squeeze the clamp with one hand while pressing the release button, the jaw opens quickly and without any problems. The main reason I purchased these was because they are great for my crossbow. They performed excellent with my rifle, which has a big bull barrel, as well. went 15 mph on rocky trails, and nothing changed. Ever since I mounted them, they haven't moved. Everywhere I travel, I tow my 4-wheeler. So far, the clamps have held up against 10 miles of dusty road and all of the road filth leading to the deer lease. The coldest I had to use these in was 20 degrees, and they still functioned well. Since I am not that casual with my weapons, I don't realistically expect these to withstand running into a tree or having a large vine snag my rifle or crossbow while riding down a trail. These are made of plastic. Nothing is "bulletproof," but for my requirements, these are perfect. If I hadn't had to make any adjustments, I would have rated them five stars.

These undoubtedly give the otherwise thin 7/8 bars some thickness. I suppose because of the size of my hands, I want a broader grip on my bikes. This unquestionably exceeds the size of the progrip 699s that I replaced. I had bought some grip pups to go with them, but they'll now be used on another bike.
There are a few different materials that can be used for dirt bike grips, such as: -Rubber -Foam -Plastic -Aluminum Each material has its own advantages and disadvantages, so it's important to choose the one that best suits your needs. For example, rubber grips are very durable and provide good grip, but can be quite slippery in wet conditions. Foam grips are also durable and provide good grip, but may not last as long as rubber grips. Plastic grips are less durable but provide good grip
There are many options for handlebar grips and it really depends on what you are looking for and what feels comfortable for you. Some people prefer thinner grips while others like thicker ones. Some people like grips that are more textured while others prefer smoother grips. There are even some grips that have built in shock absorption. Ultimately, it is important to experiment with different types of grips to see what works best for you. You may even want to try different grips on different bikes to see what works best for each individual bike.
