OK, to start with, my last DIY window tinting attempt, in the middle of the 1980s, was a miserable disaster. This is an art, and I am a novice. This window tint is perfect, in my opinion. Here are a few lessons I've learnt the hard way. 1) PURCHASE A TOOL KIT. There is one on Amazon that comes with numerous smaller scraper-style squeegees and a very nice blue squeegee. 2) I used enough soap and a sufficient amount of alcohol when making my homemade cleanser. If you don't use enough soap or alcohol, the colour will stick rapidly and you'll have to start over. 3) Use a razor to scrape the window, and then squeegee it to make sure it is completely clean. 4) Take your time and pop every single tiny bubble. 5. Purchase more tint than you anticipate needing. 6) Do not lose hope. The first one I completed left me feeling quite unsatisfied, but it turned out okay after drying. You'll get the hang of it after a few windows and maintain your razor-sharpness! My motorhome is now completely done, and it looks fantastic. Good fortune. This review will also be posted for the other roll I purchased.

I was buying the Rabbitgoo window cling when I noticed this item advised for purchase, and I'm pleased I did because it made installation simpler. Even though the package was only $9, it was worthwhile unless you already had these goods. As promised, it arrived. The cling was easily cut with the razor-sharp knife. The squeegee and spray bottle both operated without any problems. Great selection of reusable products overall.

A magnet is located in either end, and both magnets are required to hold the squeegee to the surface you are adhering to. For instance, if I merely stick the squeegee by one magnet to the steel leg of my workbench, it would dangle and fall or even slide down. It sticks well once you position it to put both on. Consider it useful for sticking to cars to free up your hands, but far from strong enough to hold objects to the cars immovably. The foam felt is decent, and they are stiffer than a typical Blue squeegee, which is fine. They are great overall, and I will use them a lot. Just be aware that the magnets barely hold the squeegee up.

A cheaper alternative to paying double or even more at a tinting company is to apply the shade yourself. The new NY tint inspection that was added to the annual inspection is the reason I purchased this. SUVs and trucks: front windshield and first-row side windows are not tinted. Sedans: First and second side windows, and no tint on the windshield. As long as your vehicle has rearview mirrors, I think you can tint the rear window. 70% of the light must pass through. Anyway, before the inspection I'll take the tint off, then I'll order them and put them on afterwards. Applying the hue is not too difficult. Just view a few YouTube videos for advice. My advice is to take your time and focus on properly preparing the glass. ensuring that it is completely clean! to avoid dirt or other impurities causing bubbles to pop. A photo was added. The 2017 Toyota Highlander only has factory-installed tint on the front first-side windows (35%) and no other glass. Tint reduces heat from the sun and offers a small bit of privacy. It's actually not that dark at 35%. I haven't been stopped by police yet. On my Lancer with a 20% tint, the fine was $90. I strongly advise anyone who lives in New York and wants their automobile colored to petition to have the required tint inspection removed. Customers and the owners/staff of tint shops that rely on tint for a living are both harmed by this. The only reason I'm doing it myself is because I have to take it out every year.

Before I go into further detail, let me just say that this was my third effort at tinting my windows. This time, I thought I'd give the pre-cut tint kit a shot.I'm so glad I did, boy! The equipment you guys provide is excellent! I initially thought it was a little too big, but after draining all the water, it fit very nicely. Keep in mind these were my first two attempts. This kit was so effective that I almost want to say it was simple but tinting went horribly, to put it mildly. Regards on a job well done, folks

The directions are really poorly translated (fun to giggle at though), and to be honest, I didn't know what half of the items in the package was. However, if you have the right equipment (I purchased it for the small squeegee and the plastic pusher things), they work beautifully.
