The hose was delivered with a male quick couple fitting made of plastic. My truck, however, lacked this. It became obvious that all I needed to do was attach the new rubber hose to this barb after removing the old one from the plastic pump line. So I merely put the naked hose over the barb after removing the plastic connection from the new hose (which I could have cut). resolution for 10 seconds.I only had one damaged spray nozzle. The troublesome nozzle, however, instantly cracked and shattered when it was removed because of its advancing age. At least, that's what I believe the item photo to be depicting. I didn't have any extra components, and the nozzle already has a gasket similar to the OEM component I removed.

It took around 5 minutes to install the new one and unhook the damaged one. very simple The old one was held to the hood by clips, so I had to remove it using pliers. According to some reviews I read, these spray a jet stream rather than a mist. I recorded a video that should answer your question. I wasn't sure if these would fit my 2016 Nissan Frontier based on the description, but they appeared to be the same. The holes were different when they arrived, and they still are, but these spray a wider pattern on the windshield and perform better than the factory component that I purchased from the Nissan dealer for more almost $30 each. I assume the brilliant blue sludge in my washer tank is the result of bad (Rain-X) fluid, which is clogging my nozzles. I think I've covered everything now.

I want to start by mentioning that this product ought to perform just as it promises. There is really no reason not to purchase this if it will fit your car and you need a replacement (mine is a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee). It sprays the window decently and was very easy to replace. The only reason I deducted a star is because I only needed to repair one nozzle; as a result, I now have one of these replacement nozzles and one original nozzle. The spray from this nozzle does cover a smaller area and is "thicker." The original spray nozzle has a fine spray and covers two thirds of the windshield. This one is more of a fractured stream that accomplishes the task but may not completely cover the windshield.In the end, it does exactly what it needs to do, is very simple to replace, does spray on the windshield (and, to be honest, concentrates on the area where you actually look out the window), and is different from the original (which is probably just a matter of personal preference, not functionality).
