Dear Amazon, I just wanted to provide a positive review of this knock sensor. Beck Arnley components have always been reliable to me. For my 2004 Honda CRV, I buy only high-quality parts. Still drives like new after 186,000 miles. With this review, I hoped to repay the Amazon Community for everything they've done for me. As a result, I have a few suggestions for any beginners out there trying to complete the work themselves. 1 Before attempting to separate the electrical clip from the old K sensor, thoroughly spray it with electrical cleaner. 2 Use an electrical cleaner spray to clean the connector's interior before reconnecting the new K sensor. 3 New K sensors shouldn't be tightened any more than you would a mountain bike tire to a "nice and tightly snug" condition. I used the wrench you can see in my photos and completed the task in about an hour and a half. The old knock sensor can be unscrewed once it has been loosened if you have a smaller hand and can reach up between the starter and manifold. With my feet on the front tire of the driver's side vehicle and my left hand free, I kind of pushed my body up to get my arm up there. I'm a little small, and the car was on jack stands as well. I'm explaining this because, for whatever godawful reason, I was completely unable to get my right arm up there. And while I was inside the car, there were times and places when I didn't think it was even feasible to manually remove the old knock sensor! So if you're attempting to accomplish something yourself, bear that in mind. Since "Knock Sensors Rarely Go Bad On These Hondas," according to numerous web accounts, the knock sensor might be anything else, I say BULL and recommend changing the sensor to ensure that the check engine light is turned off. In order to save money by doing your own job instead of paying a mechanic who is attempting to enjoy a great holiday with your hard-earned money, I hope I have helped someone out there. Or charging you $100 for a task that they can complete in five minutes. What companies generally charge customers these days is regrettable. Keep in mind that nothing can ever be taken from you. And believing is knowing. My brothers and sisters, have faith and KNOW GB.

An pricey gadget for what it seems to be, but I wouldn't replace knock sensors any other way because it takes so much time and is so laborious. I thought about using the old knock sensor wiring harness, but I'm glad I got the new one in addition to the sensors because one of the old sensor nipples broke off in the old harness when I removed it. If I had tried to save money for what turned out to be a full weekend's worth of work in replacing sensors, I would have kicked myself. With the additional sensors and wires, the wiring harness is a high-quality product, and the car performs significantly better on hills and under load.

This is a great harness, which I used when I chose to replace the knock sensors while I was changing my oil pressure sensor. I don't worry that water will leak underneath it, and I didn't RTV-seal my knock sensors either. Unless you don't use the foam cushions underneath your intake manifold, which you should because it is their intended usage, you are not need to. This has seen a lot of use and is flawless; there are no problems, and it fits exactly like the original. Nice part, great purchase!

On my 2000 Civic EX, I had the P0325 error code. I've read that purchasing a non-Honda part won't solve the problem. The code has been turned off so far, and I don't anticipate it returning. I purchased this to replace the KA24DE knock sensor in my 240sx, which was beyond repair. I discovered that the overheating problem with the car was caused by the timing being significantly advanced. I replaced this in the hopes that the timing advance would be caused by the sensor not reading knock because I was already beneath the intake dealing with the effects of my overheating problem. Although I was unable to determine whether the sensor was the problem, I have been using it for roughly 300 miles and have never experienced a problem with timing moving too far. On a turbocharged engine, where you have to be extremely careful to avoid knock, I might be hesitant to use this sensor, but you can use a NA engine with confidence. I'm definitely content.

I purchased this from Amazon. It arrived in its original box and was covered in plastic, however the plastic was little dusty and stretched from a garage.
