Although I appreciate the product, a more thorough product description would be nice. It comes with no instructions, and the connector had to be removed and retrofitted. I made my own steel straps to attach to because I did not like the weak mounting solution. I also elevated the mount by 1/8 of an inch to allow the motor more airflow to cool the motor itself. The fan's mounting nut might have been replaced with a locking spring clip to make it simple to remove the fan for motor replacement when it's time to change the brushes and clean the internals. I put a multi relay and switch after taking care of the minor personal matters. The switch I already had, and the relay cost $8. It was simple to wire up, but new ends had to be fitted after the clip was removed. I have only ever used this fan for 5 minutes while breaking in a Chevy 350, and I had to stop it due to an engine failure, so I don't know how long it has consistently ran. I do have a friend that uses the same fan every day without any issues. Since I was not given any amp draw information, I just ran it on a 30 amp relay switch with a 20 amp main supply fuse. ran without a problem. The label on this fan reads 12v-120watts. From there, calculate the amp draw. Remember that the amp draw increases at startup and decreases as the speed increases to its maximum rpm. It would have been wonderful to have some reading material on this important subject.Divide the wattage rating by the voltage coming from your power source to determine the amperage draw from your device. 120/12=10amps
