Daystar produces quality goods! As usual, I wasn't let down, and these simply fastened with factory hardware into the original spot. Since they are poly, striking this bumpstop typically would be sharper; nevertheless, because of the cutout ends, the impact is softened.These are extended bumpstops, so take note! THEY MEASURE 4 INCHES HIGH. These will restrict your suspension travel if you don't have a suspension lift because I was unable to locate that information anyplace. These are perfect if you have larger tires and a suspension lift package installed that is 2" or higher!

superior caliber They are made of a tough, lightweight material rather than typical rubber. You can imagine the quality of this because it was OEM on the GT500. Amazon offers cheaper OEM components than your neighborhood Ford parts store. Because my Mustang is lowered, it jounces all the way more frequently, and it feels fantastic. Although I already have polyurethane bushings, this jouncing kit performs considerably better than aftermarket polyurethane kits. Highly suggested.

These were purchased for a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport with a 4" lift. Even at full drop, YOU CANNOT SQUEEZE THESE BETWEEN THE COILS! The spring must be removed from the perch far enough so that it may be inserted from the bottom. You will also need to remove the sway bar. Reassemble everything once you have them inside the spring (be sure to put them in the correct way up), and then use a pry bar between the coils to release the bump stop and insert it into the mount. It inserts with some effort, but not too much.To raise the spring up high enough, I had to use a spring compressor on the passenger side. It was simpler to remove the spring from its place on the driver's side, slip in the bump stop, and then reinstall it.

Out of the package, these bump stops fit wonderfully. To fit in the stock bump stop location, no trimming is required. These longer-than-stock bump stops just fit the space between the bump stop and control arm on my truck's 1.25-inch leveling kit, keeping my costly DSSV shocks from bottoming out. Although some people on U Tube have shortened theirs, I'm running these at full length, and the ride is just as comfortable as stock on the road and the suspension flex appears unaffected off road. Compared to the stock "button" style bump stops, these are noticeably softer.

A set of these arrived last week. They are made of m10-1.5x25 thread.For the bump stop tower on my 2005 TJ, it was a perfect fit.I unbolted the cup for the old bump stop, took out the bolt, and installed the new Daystar bump stop in its place.It's about three "than the original. The Daystar bump stop appears to need to be trimmed when it is fully drooped since it is contacting the spring. I haven't yet verified the length at full compression or the amount of up travel I have at ride height. Appears to be almost ideal for 3–4 "a lift spring.

With these blocks, installation was simple. The way the frame was made made it impossible for me to get a nut on the end of the bold. I was able to use permanent loctite and tap the frame. Only a few hundred kilometers have been driven since installation, and everything is still in tight order. If I have bottomed out since installation, the blocks or axles don't show it.

One is that Daystar produces high-quality goods. There was no poor engineering or "oops, this doesn't quite fit" type of issues.I couldn't be more pleased with the added protection for my 2" raise that these provided for the front and rear of my 2002 Jeep TJ.
