A fantastic factory component for a fantastic part. The unfortunate thing is that, if others had to replace this component because the pressure regulating valve on top of the cover malfunctioned (making a whistling noise along with a rough idle), as it did in my case, you need to fix the underlying issue otherwise you'll have to replace the cover once more. The weak orange-colored, tiny rubber PCV valve inside the intake manifold is the source of the issue. The strong corrugated/ribbed line that connects to the intake manifold's top must be removed so that you can shine a flashlight into the intake's hole. The PCV valve in orange should be visible. Just in case the valve gets oiled, you might need to spray some carb cleaner in there. If you don't see it after that, that is what caused the pressure regulating valve to malfunction. This is the second time I've changed the cover because mine was gone. You have two choices. 1) swap out the intake manifold and deal with the PCV valve ultimately malfunctioning once more, which is a given given the terrible design; 2) Purchase the relatively easy-to-install "Chevy Cruze 1.4 liter turbo PCV valve repair kit" by searching online. I finished it in around 3.5 hours. Bypassing the poor OEM PCV valve design with this kit, you'll probably never need to change the cover again. Additionally, if you search for the same thing on YouTube, you'll discover a video that explains this problem much better. how some people may benefit from this

After I placed it on, the scream I was experiencing was fixed (probably from the primary seals). A word of caution, though: research this fix well. It is not only a bolt-on component. The old one must be removed and the new one must be glued in. I used JB weld and a little hacksaw. You can reduce a $1000 repair to $40 if you have some skill. It fit my 2011 X5 3.0 N55 even though the part finder claimed it did not.

Well-packaged and delivered on time. Enables 2002 Altima. Gasket was slightly off in one place, but it still functions and, as it heats, will no certain be fine. RVT was added sparingly to the troublesome area. Spark plug tube seals are moulded in and cannot be changed by the user, therefore this is the only way to replace them. I got it because of the tube seals.

Since I snowboard and trek in dusty locations, the cap is crucial for me and my hobbies. The hydra packs are a great addition, and it keeps things tidy.However, I am utterly baffled by its design. You'll see that the portion that slides over the tube itself is facing the wrong way in both my photos and the product image, causing the tube to twist when it's closed. I don't know who designed it, but I really believe that was a mistake. I tried to adjust it, but I soon discovered that to fix it, one would need to cut and remelt plastic. If I'm absolutely mistaken, do correct me so that I can raise this rating to 5.

Quick delivery was made on this valve cover and gasket set. I noticed some very small motor oil leakage and some misfiring problems. Common issue with the 1.4L PVC valve cover engine. Replace it is the only option. A month after I switched to a less expensive replacement part, the vehicle began to leak oil. Everything fits great after I placed the camshaft cover that I purchased. It came with 2 gaskets as described, which is a significant cost save. The camshaft cover itself appears to be exactly as it should be. Nothing wrong as of now. I'm overjoyed with it.

My 2014 Chevy Cruze Eco's valve cover is a perfect OEM match and operates as intended. It also comes with a gasket. The rubber rings that surround the screws are the only thing I object about. Five or six of the rubber rings/washers failed when the bolts were torqued to the manufacturer's requirements. They were unable to withstand the pressure. They would constrict before rising to cover the bolt's top. The ring/washers that came with this cannot resist the required pressure; the gasket kit from the neighborhood auto store has a different style. No leaks thus far one week after repair. When installing this component, pay attention to the precise tightening pattern (instructions not provided).
