Could not be more pleased. The best part is that they perform really well and are affordable and easy to install. You will want a Philips (and maybe a flat blade and square drive) screwdriver, side cutters, and wire strippers at the very least. Even though mounting screws and wire nuts are available, I found my application to be far too small for them. I purchased medium and big yellow wire nuts and #12 screws during a brief trip to the hardware store. Additionally, I used an electric drill to remove the old screws from the old fixtures, drive the screws for the new lights, and bore out mounting holes in the new light bases to accommodate the larger mounting screws. Before reinstalling the wires and wire nuts in the mounting holes, I wrapped them in black, plastic tape. Scissors were used to cut the tape.If you have everything you would need, I'd say it should just take you ten minutes or less to remove the old lights and mount the new ones.Clip the negative and positive leads, then strip the wire of roughly 3/8 inch. Remove the existing light fixture. If you didn't turn the breaker off or remove the coach batteries, be careful not to touch the leads together. I merely exercised caution and left my fully connected.Squeeze the side closest to the switch to release the lens after removing the new light from the box. Take off the lens's protective covering.Next, I drilled the mounting holes. The two non-polarized wires in the new lamp make connection a breeze. Twist together all the necessary wires, then secure them with wire nuts. At this point, I taped the wires in black plastic. Make sure the new light is operating properly by checking. Reinstall the wires' wire nut section in the hole. Before screwing the replacement base back into place, be sure you won't pierce any wires. I discovered that the installation was nice since enough of the previous holes lined up.Install the lens cover by pinching and mounting the piece of the lens closest to the switch before starting from the outside edge. The outdated reading lights in the bunks and other places were replaced by the single LED Kohree lights as well.Enjoy!

The factory-installed incandescent lights in our camper have always seemed to me to be far too feeble. Last year, I bought some new bulbs (XCSOURCE 10PCS Warm White 1156 BA15S / 1141/1073 / 1095 Base 18 SMD 5050 LED) from Amazon, but they didn't work any better and were even a touch dimmer than the originals. I chose to try these because I still needed additional light. When I got the lights, they were neatly packaged in a bundle and properly shielded from scratches and damage. The old lights were simply removed, the wires were severed, the ends were stripped, and the wiring for the new lights was finished using the provided connectors. It doesn't matter which wire is polarized, so just connect it. I just used the provided screws to create new holes because the old screw holes did not line up and the previous screws' diameter was too wide for the new fixture. The new fixture covered all the previous holes, resulting in a neat installation.Time to activate them. These stand out right away due to their brightness. Very luminous! Second, modern lighting is unquestionably whiter than traditional incandescent lighting. They were listed as being between 4000 and 4500 K, but in my opinion, they are more likely between 5000 and 5500 K. Not awful, but a nice contrast from the 2000–2500 K? yellowish 1141 bulbs. How bright is bright, then? I measured LUX using a mobile app and obtained the following results: With both lights on, an old incandescent double bulb (1141) fixture emits 30 LUX. 98 LUX for a new fixture with ONE light array active. 203 LUX for a new fixture with BOTH sides on. Yes, there is much more light. For our purposes, we've found that turning on just one side of the fixture produces a sufficient quantity of light for everyday use. But it's convenient to be able to just turn the switch on both sides if I need to work on anything or load the camper for an outing and have plenty of light. The restroom is the exception. We frequently leave both sides on since we enjoy the bright light there. One more thing: as a few people have already mentioned, these do cast a peculiar color pattern. This has also happened with other LED array lights, like the replacement bulbs I mentioned earlier. It appears as though there are stained or dirty spots when the light is shining on a solid white or light-colored surface (such as a bed sheet). I can see how some people could find this distracting. However, in our situation, the lights are installed in the living and bathroom areas, which lack completely solid surfaces in bright colors, masking the color pattern completely. Therefore, it is unimportant to us.So altogether, we're happy. We can live with it even though I wish they were a little more on the yellow side of the Kelvin scale. love that there is now enough light.

Good: 1. Simple to install; it took less than an hour to gather the necessary equipment, swap out the lights, and tidy up/store everything.2. I like the vibrant, natural daylight over the faint, yellowed light of the OEM lights.3. Exactly the same footprint as the original light was used, so there are no additional screw holes or lines where there previously was a light. The bad: 1. Four out of the five performed admirably. The fourth one I installed has a defective switch that is inoperable when turned "on." However, if you move it around, you can find a location where it does function. However, since it was above the bed, I didn't have to go through that process each time. Instead, I simply replaced it with the fifth light, leaving me with one less to change.2. You need to be careful mounting them because, aside from the electrical components, they are ALL plastic. I tightened the lamp with a hand driver after using an impact to move the screw toward the housing. I could see how it would be simple to accidentally overtighten one of the bulbs, which would cause it to break. Where the screws go on the originals, there was a metal shell surrounding the plastic, but those manufacturing times are long gone.Overall, I'm VERY pleased with this update to LED lighting. I need to get more since I overlooked the fact that there were 2 lights under the cabinets. With the broken light and the two behind the cabinet, they come in a 3 pack, which is just what I need. This is a quick, simple, and affordable lighting update for your travel trailer that should give you improved illumination for the duration of your camper without the need for maintenance.

This light is crisp and bright, and it is more white than ordinary bulbs. Because I couldn't stand the contrast between the new and old lights, I actually ended up purchasing 10 more and replacing all the lights in the camper. But I'm glad I did because it significantly increased the camper's brightness and cut down on electricity use. The manufacturing units were also extremely hot, in my opinion. I'm not sure how I avoided having a fire in the past, and I'll never again own one without LEDs. Since the switch on one of the units I received was broken but previously put in the bathroom, which already had a wall switch, I soldered it together and removed the switch. I only gave four instead of five stars for that reason.

5 Pack Leisure LED Double Dome Light Fixture 620 Lumens 48 2835SMD leds 11-18V Super Bright
$234
affordable lighting with good qualityI bought the five-pack, decided I liked them, and then ordered four more to complete the order.replaced the RV's outdated 12" fluorescent ceiling lights. The light is white, but it doesn't have that "cold" or "blue" vibe to it.Order the model with the frosted lens if you're complaining about light patterns. I don't see any light patterns coming from the lenses. The units come with 2 wire nuts and 4 screws. I needed my own because of the padded ceiling and larger cables to attach to, but in many cases, what is provided would be sufficient. Also take note that there are 8 mounting holes available in case you require them. Given that the fixtures don't weigh much, the outside 4 were more than enough for my purposes. One side of the switch is off, one light is on in the middle, and both sides of the switch are lit.To keep myself sane, I made sure to put them all in the same location so that turning on the switch facing the trailer's rear also turns on both lights. The units, however, are otherwise symmetrical and can be installed either way. These, in my opinion, utilize less energy, give off a little bit more light, and are marginally more aesthetically pleasing than the old fluorescent ones. When installing the lenses, you must peel off the protective material that was applied to the lenses to prevent scratches. The lenses have a wonderful strong feel and seem like they will remain in position nicely, yet they are flexible enough to insert the tabs to secure them in place. There is no flickering or radio interference that I can see.Although I have not had them long enough to comment on their durability, I am so far extremely happy with the adequate light they provide at such a low cost. They also shipped and arrived on schedule.

I bought these lights just to light up my 2005 Jayco Eagle's shower cubicle. Since I've been a full-time camper for the past three years, this is a significant improvement for my 12-year-old camper. The main reason I picked these lights was their alleged resistance to moisture. For those who are curious, installation was simple. Once they are in place, the spring clips literally suck the fixture into the hole. I soldiered and heatedhrunk connecting places using 18 gauge wire. When the springs are folded back, the hole I made with a 2 1/4 inch hole saw is the correct size for clearance. In my shower, the illumination is excellent and well spread. I've only had these set up for a few days, but I'll make sure to update going forward.Present day: April 19, 2017One month has passed since I first put in the recessed led lighting, which is this Friday. As of right now, they are still emitting light exactly as they did when I originally placed them. At least 5 on-off cycles occur each day, and they are collectively on for at least 4 hours. I haven't seen any oxidation under the fixture coating, and they appear to tolerate the dampness and condensation. The only thing I would change is that I wish I had researched color temperature before buying the cold white version. Since I can only tolerate it in my shower, the color temperature is comparable to an iPhone flash light. I still think this product is deserving of 5 stars now, and I would purchase it again.

Since I don't currently have power in my shed, I installed them. I wired it using standard 3-way electrical light switches as I have two entrances and a marine battery. Have not yet installed a solar battery charger to maintain the battery's charge. To recharge the battery, I haphazardly run an extension cord to my battery charger. The strings fit wonderfully since I simply stapled them to the underside of the truss because the shed is 12 feet wide.As it is not a workshop, the illumination is ideal for my purposes, necessitating only 3 strings.I have no regrets...

These shine brilliantly! The wires are a little thin, but not so thin that they break every time you peel the wire. They remained in place thanks to the backing tape long enough for me to insert a screw. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to trust the tape for very long. I think the wire spacing is good since it looks bright when you stretch out three or four of them. One thing I DID DO was to cut the last wire very flush to the light base while I was cutting the wires. Because I correctly fuse everything and the insulation is thick enough, the exposed wires don't present a serious risk to me (I am also mounting them to wood, so no worries on it shorting on anything but the other wire). If you cut it exactly right, there is a tiny dot of wire—not quite enough to cause concern. If you're really concerned, leave 1/4 to 1/2 inch of wire and seal them up with some liquid electrical tape. They have been in use for a significant amount of time and have performed well from 11.6v to 14.4v. Although my eyes may have become a little bit blinded over the course of the hours, I did not observe any variation in brightness between the various voltages. Did I mention they are intelligent? One light was used in a small truck cupboard, however it cast shadows. My solution was to install two, spaced as far apart as the wire gap would permit, one on the ceiling and the other on the wall. No more shadows, plenty of brightness, and when positioned correctly, they are not dazzling.I have not yet experienced any failures with the kit I purchased. When I tested the full strand at once, they were all essentially equally bright. They are not entirely directed yet they are also not spot lights. 120–140 degrees of brightness, with the outer 20–40 degrees fading. As seen in the pictures taken by other people, it effectively lights up my car.

I truly adore these lights, and I use them to illuminate my outside patio in my basement and at my camp. I connected them using a 12 volt transformer I bought from Amazon. They don't get hot or consume a lot of electricity, are rather bright, and are simple to wire.Out of the four items in the last package I purchased, there was only one bad one. I used Amazon to contact the seller, printed a label, packaged the lone defective item, and sent it back to them. The business gave me a full refund of my purchase price the same day it was sent to me in the mail! Who does that, I mean utterly trash that's quick? (No inquiries are posed) I then used my refund to make more purchases. They are that excellent! They should only be dimmable, though.

I couldn't decide between red and blue, but I thought blue would be a little more relaxed. And as you can see, it doesn't look that horrible.
Yes, you can replace your RV light bulbs with LEDs. LEDs are more energy-efficient than traditional light bulbs and will last longer, so you'll save money in the long run. Plus, LEDs emit little to no heat, so they're safer to use in your RV.
Yes, you can run your RV generator while plugged in, but there are a few things to keep in mind. First, make sure that the generator is properly ventilated so that it doesn't overheat. Second, be mindful of the noise level, as some generators can be quite loud. Finally, be sure to check with your RV park or campground to make sure that they allow generators to be used while plugged in.
Yes, you can hook up a 12V light to 110V. You will need to use a converter to do this.
Most RVs come equipped with 12-volt light fixtures, and many campgrounds have 110-volt electrical hookups. So the answer is yes, you can put regular light fixtures in an RV, as long as they are rated for 110 volts. You will need to use an adapter to connect the fixture to the RV's electrical system.
Yes, you can replace 12v bulbs with LED. In fact, many people are doing so because LEDs use less energy and last longer than traditional incandescent bulbs. The only downside is that LEDs can cost more upfront. However, over time, the savings in energy and replacement costs will more than make up for the initial investment.
Light fixtures are designed to work with a specific voltage, so a 120v light fixture cannot be used for a 12v system. The reason for this is that 120v fixtures are designed to work with 120v circuits, which have a much higher voltage than 12v circuits. 12v circuits are typically used in low-voltage applications such as lighting, and using a 120v light fixture in a 12v circuit can damage the fixture and pose a fire hazard.
