LIGHT 'N' EASY All-In-One Steam Mop with User-friendly Detachable Handheld Unit, All-purpose Laminate/Hardwood/Tile/Grout/Carpet Pet & Child Friendly Floor Steamer, S3601 Review:

I run a 2100 square foot Pilates and fitness studio with almost entirely wood flooring. Due to both the high frequency of bare foot/hand touch and perspiration from daily fitness/Pilates sessions, as well as the large volume of foot traffic, mopping the floor is a substantial task that needs to be done frequently. I only wish I had discovered this gadget earlier! I had the following experiences:THE FLOOR MUST BE SET UP ACCURATELY.I began with thoroughly sweeping, then I ran a vacuum along the edges, corners, and challenging to reach places. similar preparations I make before using my twist mop to clean. You won't get good results if you don't take this action. The steam mop does not collect dirt or debris because it is not a vacuum or broom. After years of cleaning with a conventional twist mop and pail of water, the floor had a respectable layer of mop residue that had to be removed in addition to the surface just needing to be cleaned. THE FLOOR WILL HAVE AN INITIAL LAYER OF GRIME THAT MUST BE DEALT WITH. I exclusively use my homemade solution of water, vinegar, isopropyl alcohol, and tea tree oil to mop. I anticipate that the mop residue would have been much worse if I had been using a detergent or soap-based cleanser. The fact that the floor is dirty is not due to negligence; rather, it is a result of continuous use. It will take more than one steam mop pass to remove the debris that is resting on top of your floor if you don't routinely mop.STEAM MOP "PUSHING DIRT AROUND" COMPLAINTSI observed that the steam mop head did leave a little bit of dirt or dust in areas with high foot traffic, which would neatly trail across the floor as I mopped. These places also seemed to have more resistance to the steam mop sliding across the floor, which required a bit more strength to overcome before giving way after a few passes to the mop sliding normally. This makes me think that the dirt or dust that the steam mop left behind was actually dirt or dust that had over time grown stuck to the floor surface and was effectively loosed by the steam mop. Additionally, the dirt/dust that was left behind was easily removed by the vacuum and did not reappear after the steam mop made a second pass over the floor.AVERAGE PHYSICAL FITNESS IS REQUIRED FOR EASY USE.In less than five minutes, the steam mop was built, taken out of the box, and put to use. It takes roughly 30 seconds for the fabric portion attached to the mop head to acquire sufficiently moist to travel freely across the floor. At this point, moving the steam mop over the floor does require some physical effort; after all, it is simply a wet rag being pushed across the floor, so there is some resistance that calls for normal physical fitness. When I took into account how often I had to wring out my twist mop, I discovered that it needed about the same amount of physical effort. MAJOR RESULTS IN THE STEAM MOP'S FAVOR I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I could use the steam mop ambidextrously, but I am unable to do so with the twist mop, which results in repetitious single-sided body movement that invariably causes my back to hurt and ache.Initial performance rating: 5 starsI cleaned the entire floor with the steam mop in two successive runs. In the initial pass, I really took my time and used four of the cloth mop head attachments to get through the initial residue I knew was on the floor. In my second pass, I used just one cloth mop head cleaner and worked quickly across the entire floor (the same rate I would use if I were vacuuming the floor). (The steam mop picked up the same items both times; see the image for a comparison.) I used just under a gallon of water for the entire cleaning process and the steam mop ran continuously for a solid four hours without problem. The attachments for the cloth mop heads did not bunch or break. Traversing the cord was the most annoying part of using the steam mop; nevertheless, this discomfort is comparable to that of navigating a vacuum cord when vacuuming, so it wasn't really bothersome. The second thing was stopping frequently to refuel the water tank. Again, this is not a significant hassle thanks to the refill cup that is included with the mop.CONCLUSION OF THE STEAM MOP VS. TWIST MOP GAME: STEAM MOP WON!The floor is insanely clean after using the steam mop; it probably has never been cleaner. The floor is literally "squeaky clean," but when I move across it, my shoes squeak. The final result is wonderfully bright and sparkling as can be seen in the photographs I've posted because the steam mop did not leave water stains on the floor (as the twist mop did). My twist mop will probably only be used once more to clean up significant water spills (from dropping a bottle of water or the occasional plumbing issue).ADVICE: Make sure you purchase extra fabric mop head attachments. Only one is included with the steam mop. I made the decision to purchase two additional packs of cloth mop head attachments after reading reviews before making the purchase, and it turned out to be just the right number for this initial cleaning. I probably only need two or three for subsequent cleanings, but it's good to have more on hand.

Steam Mop Cleaner ThermaPro 10-in-1 with Convenient Detachable Handheld Unit, Laminate/Hardwood/Tiles/Carpet Kitchen - Garment - Clothes - Pet Friendly Steamer Whole House Multipurpose Use by PurSteam Review:

This product is excellent! I just got it yesterday and used it for the first time this morning, so I can't yet comment on durability, but it appears like a well-built, strong machine. Our house features espresso brown ceramic tile flooring throughout around two-thirds of the space. I never succeeded in completely removing the white construction dust from the dark grout, so instead of trying to clean 1500 square feet with a toothbrush, I chose to use this steam mop first. I am so happy with the outcome! The floor feels really clean and silky smooth, and the white residue is completely gone. Without pushing or having to redo any sections, I just ran the mop over the tile to complete this task. Also, setup was simple. I find this to be MUCH better and faster than using my spin mop or the spray mop I have been using in between thorough cleanings because the mop is not heavy and glides easily. Because we have two busy dogs, there are always muddy paw prints and other messes, thus this mop will really simplify my life. I also appreciate that this operates on water. Since there is essentially no expense more than a few cents a week for a little water, I can rest assured that my family and pets are safe. It is also beneficial for the environment. Bacteria are also killed by the hot steam in a natural, safe manner. I can't wait to test out every attachment. Again, it will be good to quickly clean and renew the furniture with two dogs. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Wagner Spraytech 0282014 915 On-demand Multipurpose Steam Cleaner for Wallpaper Removal Cleaning Floors and Countless Household Uses, Yellow Review:

A YEAR IN REVIEWI bought this to start off with a filthy "new-to-me" automobile. Since then, I've used it on every square inch of my home; in some spots, it worked, in others, not so much. This stuff SHINES there!-Eliminating grit from cracks (cup holders in the car, dirt around sink etc)-Removing extremely difficult stains from textiles -General cleaning (this steamer can actually remove very stubborn dirt that nothing in a spray bottle could touch)It makes cleaning a LOT more attractive because it makes it easier overall. Steam sanitizing (I'm still hesitant to call it sanitizing).Cleaning something like motor grease where it doesn't. Even so, I believe that the steam as a procedure and not this particular product is more to blame for this.-Heat-up time (fix this by adding hot tap water), whole tank heats in around 25 minutes with room-temperature water; has some spittle if left idle for a few minutes. Just be careful and spray it away from the hose to clear it (this is entirely normal due to the steam to water issue...)It's not an extractor; it works well to remove surface grime but is unable to remove liquid, filth, or grease from objects like automobile seats. It also has trouble removing those pesky bathtub stains that appear at the basin (tip: try hot distilled white vinegar and dawn soap-works amazing)The images show some B

Steamfast SF-370WH Multi-Purpose Steam Cleaner Review:

I bought because: The main factor is bedbugs that a "house guest" brought. Although the infestation was minimal, I won't allow the enemy prevail because we haven't totally eradicated the tiny sobs. They would vanish for a few days to a week following heat treatment, poisoning, diatomaceous earth applications, furniture removal, and carpet cleaning until the dye was removed from the carpet. Return after that. I'm not giving in. We must take out this foe at all costs.Another factor is that I detest cleaning. I'm an old, fat man with better things to do than spend a lot of time cleaning dirt in positions I can hardly get into. I give it my full attention when I do it. Once OCD-level cleanliness is attained, I anticipate spending the bare minimum of time keeping it there.Additionally, my wife insists on having vile tiny beta dogs that won't do things that real dogs do, like relieve themselves outside when a storm is within 300 miles, a snowflake is present, or there is morning dew that could dampen their "widdle paws." I enjoy creatures. I vehemently detest these tiny half-breed hamsters, and I only kept them because I adore that woman. Going forwardThis model, the Steamfast SF-370WH, was the result of my research into what I needed and what looked reasonable; it was delivered this morning. I anticipated some things deemed to be negative after reading the reviews. I searched using this unit and didn't find any of those things.1. "After the first use, the accessories are cheap and useless."Nope. Your approach is flawed. Any bristle brush, whether brass or nylon, will break if you place your entire weight on it. The power to liquefy and flush away the filth is being provided by the steam. To produce "GENTLE" agitation, like a salesperson in a department store, the bristles are there. Moving a little more slowly will allow the steam to function if it isn't coming off. If that still doesn't work, get a scrubby pad and work for three seconds. What's the matter with you?2. "The accessory and unit are of low quality and breakable."*Facepalm. It costs $100 and is a steam cleaner for the home. Are you going to use it to clean the subway? No. As long as you don't meat fist everything together like a mentally retarded gorilla, the unit and parts fit nice and snug and are of reasonable quality. When ordering quick food, this kind of individual whines if it takes more than three minutes. Avoid pushing things. Please see point one. You could undoubtedly find something for a lower cost that would allow for more force applications. There won't be any damage if you take your time and do it correctly.3. "I couldn't get anything to clean with it."Okay, so it's possible that the item in question was faulty. OR, perhaps you didn't let it to reach temperature. Pulling the trigger will cause you to release pressure, which will prolong the period of time it takes for the element to produce enough steam. A fluid's internal temperature drops as its internal pressure rises. Before using it, give it 10 minutes to attain temperature. What I discovered is that there is sufficient hot steam for every use I intend to use it for. Since I hadn't cleaned it thoroughly in a while, I figured I'd try it on the stove. Okay, so I don't know why I just started with the nylon brush. There was no doubt that it was cleaning, and it did a good job, but it could have been better. The brass brush tip was then employed. Holy sh*t. It appears to be new. I used it to get a sponge from the hole at the back of the sink. After two attempts, it appears as though I just replaced the faucet. I utilized the tank for at least 45 continuous minutes after filling it to just below full. The stove is still not clean even though I used the most of that water tank on it. Not because the appliance is broken, but rather because the burner is so filthy. How horrible it was, I had no idea. This gadget made it appear as though these surfaces had never been touched as I went around cleaning places all over the kitchen that had recently been cleaned with pine sol and elbow grease. They appear to be new. To match the clean places, I now have to clean the entire friggin' kitchen. Bugs come first, though. One location they have been hiding is in the gap between my desk's main surface and a trim piece. Its length is almost five feet. I've inserted a hot air cannon into the gap. poison was sprayed into the crack. The crack was vacuumed. Again, they disappear for a bit before returning. With the use of a flashlight and magnifying glass, I found three of the little monsters hiding in the gap. They moved and squatted when I blew on them. Alive. I lined up the nozzle, depressed the trigger, and shot all of the debris—including the three bedbugs—from one end of the crack to the other over the course of about eight seconds. Guess what? DEAD. In one bedroom, they are frequently discovered under the mattress. I discovered two when I turned the mattress. Again, I simply sprayed raw steam on the box spring, and both promptly perished. Along the mattress' seam, I steamed. After spraying poison on the seam two or three nights prior, I had simply vacuumed it. After steaming them, I looked underneath and saw four additional dead bedbugs. I'm going to declare this a victory at this point despite the fact that the bodies have been collected and will be checked for any signs of life. Welcome to Hiroshima, bugs. On the side of this steamer, I am writing "Enola Gay" with a marker.Things I didn't like so much include the lack of an integrated accessory storage system. Nothing major.Though it truly couldn't, the fill cap could be larger. High pressure is present in the tank. It must be a high pressure brass fitting in order to seal it. They used a smaller fitting in order to employ an acceptable one without raising the price. Obtain a funnel. Maybe that wasn't the best thing to say.It ends there.

COSTWAY Multipurpose Steam Cleaner with 17 Accessories, 2000W Heavy Duty Steamer Chemical-Free Cleaning, 1.5L Dual-Tank Cleaning Machine for Carpet, Floors, Windows and Cars Review:

I've owned a variety of steamers over the years, and when they've inevitably died, I've replaced them right away because I love the idea of steam sanitizing, it speeds up cleaning (think refrigerator, toilet, grout), and it is less expensive and better for allergy sufferers. So when I made this purchase, I knew what I wanted: a canister style (otherwise, your hand tires from holding the water-filled steamer); it must have a hold on feature (otherwise, All of these are areas where this product excels.Things I didn't Like: The attachments weren't all able to fit on the board; a bag to carry them would have been helpful. I ultimately decided to hang the attachments and steamer inside a mesh laundry bag in the closet. The instructions should have been made clearer (hire a freelancer or anyone whose first language is English to proofread them). In the end, I sought assistance online from someone else. The cord-holding device is ineffective because it is not firmly attached to the steamer and just falls out. The steel wire brush attachment in particular made me unhappy because the wires fell out before I ever used it. Having said that, I like how this item is made. In terms of durability, if it doesn't last as long as I anticipate, i'll come back and update my review.

McCulloch MC1375 Canister Steam System,Black Review:

In order to use the MC1375 for car detailing, I bought it. It has been used for almost 100 hours over the previous nine months and has become a favorite tool. The following remarks are based solely on my use of it for detailing; I have not used it for any other purposes.Pros - Even when loaded with ice cold water, it heats up quickly, usually in under 10 minutes. Even after prolonged use, it retains pressure adequately. Works well on carpets, cloth seats, especially leather seats, sticky cupholders, gum, melting confectionery, and small crevices. The hose is often long enough to allow the machine to be positioned on one side of the vehicle and readily reach the opposite side without having to relocate the equipment. Normally, one tank is sufficient to get the job done, but you might need to refill in very soiled interiors. Even on a hot machine, you can remove the water fill cap and refill if you're cautious and open carefully. This is undoubtedly discouraged in the instructions, but with a little common sense, it is still possible.Cons: It lacks a little power. Working on harder surfaces would benefit from more pressure. It has some difficulty with the air vents, the greasy seat posts, etc. The hose does not appear to be strong enough to withstand frequent heavy detailing use. When detailing interiors, you must stoop and sway to reach every nook and cranny with both your body and the hand-held steamer. The hose is under a lot of pressure as a result of the bending and twisting. The protective hose exterior failed directly beneath the handle after 6-7 months of operation. A few weeks later, the area where the hose connects to the boiler failed once more. The firm told me they would replace the entire machine for free if I contacted them to order a new replacement hose. I received a brand-new unit in just 2 days after providing them the necessary photo. The response of McCulloch astounded me.The MC1375 is still one of my favorite detailing tools overall, and I wouldn't think twice about buying it again.

COSTWAY Multipurpose Steam Cleaner with 18 Accessories, Heavy Duty Household Steamer Chemical-Free Cleaning, 1.5L Dual-Tank Rolling Cleaning Machine for Carpet, Floors, Windows and Cars Review:

Without it, I'm not sure what I did before! Everything functions as intended, efficiently cleans my home in half the time, and the completed products sparkle. There is no actual fuss or truly eco-friendly items. I constantly use this and wouldn't be without it at this point. It works on everything from kitchen appliances, tiles, bathrooms, and doors to fabrics, floors, walls, and paint. If I had to list any drawbacks, they would be that without the product, you don't get that fresh, clean smell you get after a good clean, the lead isn't very long and you need to be close to a plug socket, and it's definitely necessary to buy extra cloths because they get soiled quickly in a busy household like ours.

Comforday Steamer- Steamer Multi Purpose Carpet High Pressure Chemical Free Steamer with 9-Piece Accessories, Perfect for Stain Removal, Curtains, Car Seats,Floor,Window Cleaning (Blue). Review:

I chose this steamer since I've always wanted one, and it's fantastic! really well works and cleans. The only thing I don't like about it is that when you use it, you have to hold down the button, which hurts my thumb and my hands. Anyone with arthritis or weak hands shouldn't do it, in my opinion. Although I wished there was an automatic on button, it's still a fantastic steamer for a beginner!

BISSELL 39N7A/39N71 Steam Shot Deluxe Hard-Surface Cleaner, Light Green Review:

Ignore the one-star reviews as much as possible; they implied that all you had to do was point the steamer at the object you wished to clean, press a button, and presto!, it was magically cleansed. I apologize, but that is NOT what this steamer is intended for. It has a variety of attachments that make it easy to clean almost any surface. Since this arrived approximately a month ago, I have been cleaning the tile grout (I have LOTS of tile floors) a little at a time. I use the tiny round wire brush (it has three of these brushes, in addition to other attachments), and I work on it a little bit every day. Although it does a terrific job on the extremely grimy grout, some elbow grease is necessary (but not as much as when I was using a toothbrush to scrub the grout). It definitely does not take 45 minutes after the steam runs out "Before refilling it, allow it to cool down (as some reviews have suggested)! However, you must utilize all of the water or steam in the appliance before unplugging it and allowing it to cool. The residual steam can be "discharged" a few times over the course of five minutes "before to refilling the steamer, open the steamer. ZERO big deal! Overall, this steamer is fantastic and has become my new favorite tool for cleaning the house. It is undoubtedly more cost-effective in the long run than using harsh cleaning agents, both for the environment and your budget. So, don't let the negative reviews that some have given this discourage you from purchasing it. Those reviews, in my opinion, were primarily left by those who anticipated a "magic" cleaner and weren't aware of how the item actually operates.
