I purchased this table in gray wood. came with all of the necessary equipment, instructions, and parts aside from a phillips head screwdriver. There were no broken components. Though my thumbs were sore from repeatedly using the Alan wrench, I had this put together in about an hour by myself despite being a smaller lady (5'3" and weighing around 135 pounds). It is a good fit for a nook because of its compact size. The table top is roughly the size of my belly button when compared to a 55" television. The necked's seats are a comfortable height. It comfortably sits the four boys and has proved robust so far (a few weeks in). We have five children, four of them are males.

On December 4th, I placed my purchase for this Zinus table and bench set, and on December 8th, it was delivered. Regards, Amazon! I was a little hesitant about this Warehouse Deal because the "new" item was out of stock, but I decided to take a chance. Amazon repackaged the set; the shipping carton was quite filthy but was completely sealed. The original packaging box was still there, open but undamaged. Every component was in the carton and was undamaged. The reason for my four-star rating is that the packaged hardware package was missing two (2) flat washers and four (4) lock washers. As a result, I had to leave to collect the necessary parts, which caused my assembly to stop. Bummer. Afterward, I was content. Even though the hardware box did contain "spare components," it just contained bolts. The benches and table work perfectly and appear to be pretty durable. No splits, flaws, etc. Buyers should be advised that, in my opinion, the color of this set is incorrectly labelled. Although it's dubbed "Espresso," I would actually describe it as a brownish cherry. To me, espresso is an extremely dark brown—almost black. This set's conclusion is not at this point. Apart from that, everything is good so far. The set has my recommendation. It will fit perfectly in my tiny dining room. Additionally, when not in use, the benches *can* be slid under the table. I bring this up because a reviewer said that she was unable to.

All parts were included, delivery was prompt, and the instructions were simple. Once completed, it was the ideal addition for a kitchen with little counter space. The shelf is large enough to hold a microwave or toaster oven, and the maple top will be useful as an additional cutting surface. This assembly had a problem since the Allen wrench was too skinny and difficult to turn, it suited the screw holes poorly, and several of the screws needed arduous half-turns because of their placement and obstructions from other materials. not because it was difficult to understand; it took me two hours because of that awful wrench. It was a blessing that some of it could be put together with a screwdriver when I felt my 55-year-old hands and eyes had seen enough and were about to give up. Now that it's finished, 80 dollars is a wonderful price, but you pay for it with your time!

My chairs are comfortable because I got the black table, and I adore them.Although I experienced the same issue myself after reading a few reviews complaining about missing screws, I messaged the seller to explain the situation, and they responded the same day, promising to send out replacement screws right away. My wife first made this purchase, which cost $102 at the time. She purchased two of them so that people would have a place to stand or sit while eating or using the computer on the back of the couch. Without needing to curl up on the couch for those lengthy Netflix TV binge sessions (my wife is now caught into "Private Practice," the "Grays Anatomy" spin-off), it has worked fantastically to serve as a comfortable space to do precisely that.The Tables perform admirably for us. They are great for small individuals or children, which is the one thing I don't like about them. When I enter or exit the table, I bump into the table and disturb everyone. I've started standing or sitting to the side of the table while I'm at the table without the second chair.They are well constructed (because I put them together), but I suggest using your own tools. If you use the ones that come with the table, setup will take longer and you'll get weary wrists. My wife and I believe we built the two tables in under two hours, all the while soothing a 13-month-old who couldn't stand being locked up while his parents played Bob the Builder.Although it wasn't difficult to follow the directions to build the tables, doing so resulted in a few problems that we had to fix after searching for the instructions. Accordingly, I would advise following the instructions. Building the tables from the picture and treating them like Legos will take a lot more annoying time.The tables look fantastic and appear to be more expensive than they actually were. They definitely feel thin and, as I said, quite small. But despite the fact that they function well and look fantastic doing it, reverse that.

Overall, it's a good set that complements my kitchen. The table is nice and extremely robust with hefty glass that doesn't appear cheap, but the chairs are quite lightweight and little, which makes me unsure about them in the future.Additionally, it was incredibly simple to assemble. My 12-year-old daughter assembled all of the seats while I ran errands, so all I had to do was tighten them and assemble the table.

With little confidence in its general construction and endurance, I bought this table set. I didn't expect it to be anything extravagant, but I got it because it fit my kitchen and was within my budget. Almost two months later, I still adore this table set! It was easy to assemble, is a fantastic space saver, strong, solid, and long-lasting. It also looks great and is easy to clean. When you want to eat, the benches simply come out from under the table, saving you a little extra room. I haven't even put it together yet. I was astounded only by the box's opening. pronounced chemical smell However, I was happy to receive 2 boxes instead of 1 because 1 box had no hardware and the other had a table top with a manufacturing issue, wrinkles in the veneer. I let the box lay open for a few days before I had time to assemble, and the smell disappeared. It's difficult to see in the photo because the table is so slick. However, after assembly—DO NOT tighten the screws to the table top until all 4 are loosely in place!—it turns out to be a reasonably solid set. I'm only concerned about that table top right now. It appears to scratch extremely readily!

You can notice that even though the table set in my photo and the one that the Amazon seller gave have the same design, they have different color schemes if you compare them (and materials). On the seller's page, a small table set is shown with silver legs and backing on the chairs and table, with a solid gray seat and table top. The silver chair backing, chair legs, and table legs all appeared more bright than what I had seen on Amazon. The table set I received had a light brown imitation wood seat top and table top. But for me, this ended up being an improvement. I'm glad about that because it matched the motif of my tiny apartment better than what was portrayed. Additionally, the size is ideal.Overall, assembly went well. In terms of ease, I'd rate it a 4 out of 5. The hardest part was putting one of the bottom rungs in. It was impossible at first to feed the screw from that table leg into the rung because when I fastened it onto one side of the table leg, it did not even contact the other leg. I was about to email Amazon to report a faulty item. The rung appeared inadequate. In the end, I unscrewed it from the leg to which it was initially fastened, leaving just enough room for the screw to enter from the opposite side. And basically, it was a game of screwing a little bit on each side until both sides were tight. Although it wasn't entirely ideal, it was secure enough for me to utilize the table and far better than having a space between the rung and the leg. The distance between the rung and the table leg is almost nonexistent.
