The Rivet Revolve Modern Reversible Chaise Sectional, 80"w is also the subject of this review. It's great to start with. It is cozy and the right size for a living room in an apartment, or in our case, a post-war cottage! Our animals are ecstatic about it. I concur with the other reviewer who said it's simple to get back up and out of because I have fibromyalgia. It's quite cozy, supportive, and plush. You can get sucked into it, but you're not struggling to get out of it!However, a reviewer made a point that I believe merits repeating as well. The sectional is not very nicely designed in and of itself. Surely the reversible cushion should lie flush? The sectional "chaise" cushion is slightly higher up since the ottoman is, possibly, a little bit taller than the sofa. Even worse, the reversible chaise cushion's other half STICKS UP IN THE AIR like a teeter-totter when you sit on the sofa end of it.Now, for the price, we could not have found a better option, and the sectional has a sleek appearance that we adore and is suitable for the room. However, that cushion! Why! Why!! It almost seems tragic. Except for this, I adore the furniture. I was quite grateful for the movers and the way that it was transported. The legs were the only thing left to add, which was fantastic. Overall, excellent furniture that is absolutely worth the cost! Just a little more thought-out design would have been nice.

We purchased a sofa sleeper, which included a deplorable Serta innerspring mattress measuring 4 inches. Absolutely awful mattress; I could feel the bar and was unable to find any comfort. In order to avoid feeling the bar, I was seeking for a mattress that was thick enough to do so, but I was really looking for one that was comfortable. I ordered this mattress two days ago, and it arrived today. Unboxing it was a challenge, but to my grandmother's enjoyment, I groaned and made a funny show of it. When I tore open the vacuum-sealed container, it quickly expanded. Let me tell you, sleeping on this is like waking up in a dream compared to the horror that was the sofa; I couldn't feel the bar, but my grandmother and mother both liked sleeping on it. And it folded back into the sofa after that! It fit like a glove, which relieved my fear that I would have to fold it up and keep it somewhere other than on the bed. If you already own a sleeping sofa, get this; you won't regret it.The only little drawback is the faint smell, but I gave it about 8 hours to air out and I'm lying on it now and it's good. Once you get it, you definitely need to let it out, but it's really not really that big of a concern.Purchase the mattress.Edit: I've used the mattress several times now, and since I'm a bigger lady and I recently delivered a baby, I'm clinging to excess weight. I couldn't feel the bar the first couple of times I slept on it, but after a few times, it's obviously still there and still a discomfort in my ass. To help with that, I've resorted to removing the mattress off the bed and placing the foam mattress on top of it; it's fairly comfy. This mattress is still fantastic, and you might not experience this problem as much if you're lighter. Additionally, the mattress' odor hasn't totally disappeared, so I'll leave it folded out throughout the week in an effort to get rid of it entirely.Sleeper sofas are terrible, but the mattress itself is really comfortable.

While some reviewers said there was no smell, others complained about it. It sounds like a good and accurate description to me (it's not just "fresh" scent like with a new car...but something less appealing for sure) that there would be a mild smell that will disturb someone with acute smelling capacity. The product still has a slight "new" smell to it that is obviously fading over time. It probably would have done so faster if we had opened it in a room with more air flow as the directions suggest. We let the product air out for several days while I rolled and sat on it to help the foam cells release and take in new air (the mattress is way lighter—30 some pounds—than a regular depth, full-size matress and it can be folded more or less in half so I should have aired it out in the garage). I wouldn't hesitate to let a visitor (or myself) sleep on this if it had only had a few days to air out, but I wouldn't have wanted to use it myself for the first few nights after delivery if it didn't have a mattress pad and fresh, pleasant-smelling sheets.Regarding the mattress size, it was poofed out to full size (including being 4.5" broad) within 24 hours despite the room being cool (instructions warn it can take longer in cold conditions, but that wasn't the case). It is *exactly* what the specifications said it should be. I'm wondering whether the firm altered the package size at some time so that the mattress isn't initially compressed so much given the remarks of some of the previous reviews.Finally, it's wonderful in terms of comfort. It was less comfy than a luxury, full-size air mattress that we've used for some guests in the past, so we decided to replace the mattress before anyone slept on it. The foam mattress is a significant improvement, and it also made the new couch firmer than we would have otherwise paid for. In addition to getting a wonderful extra guest bed, we'll get a couch that will last a lot longer than a conventional couch would because the support springs won't wear out as quickly. There are still bars there, according to several reviewers. Despite the fact that I am roughly 215 pounds, I cannot until I deliberately dig in and place my weight on top of them. This mattress is more comfortable than the standard mattress we now have on our bed, and I would happily sleep on it every night.

It's not bad for a $300 sofa that arrives at your home in a few boxes (and did so for me in two days). Although the cushions are firm, I don't mind. possesses a faint chemical odor. I fit nicely, even on the chaise (my feet hang off, but that's to be expected; I'm 6'6", so I understood coming in that it wouldn't be the best couch for a tall person). I took ten to fifteen minutes to set up.Since the sofa is little shallow, it's okay for one person to sit on it, but spooning with your partner can be challenging.The only significant drawback, in my opinion, is that there are a few places where you can see through the sofa. Not a big deal, I'm just adding some throw pillows.If you're a responsible adult who understands that this won't be as comfy as a $1,500 sofa from a high-end retailer, I'd suggest it. You ought to be content with this sofa if you keep your expectations in check.UPDATE: After a week and a half, I still adore the sofa and am happy I bought it. In less than 24 hours, the chemical smell I noted above vanished. Additionally, if you have pets that use this, you can easily remove their fur by rubbing your fingers on the fabric. more efficient than a lint roller, probably. I'll say it again: the only drawback is that there are a few places where you can see through the sofa, but it can be fixed easily and shouldn't be a deal-breaker. As of 3/18/19, it appears that this is only offered by independent sellers for TWICE the price that I bought less than two weeks ago. I do not suggest spending $600 on this. There are superior options. Consider purchasing if the final price is $350 or less.

The upholstery fabric quality caught me off guard, and the padding is firm but not uncomfortable. It feels more durable than I anticipated, and it will hold up to our use. We needed one of these that was less than 68 inches long, and this one's length of just over 66 inches makes it ideal. Priorities come first. FedEx ground, not curbside delivery, was used to deliver this. The driver found this to be a little too much because it is so heavy. The box is enormous! Second, discard the directions. They are time wasters and rubbish. Before I said "forget it," I spent 20 minutes attempting to understand what it was trying to tell me. I simply looked at the couch, and it was obvious where each screw and bolt went. It took roughly 15 minutes to assemble. The dimensions might not be exact though. The measurements of this sofa were slightly larger than those of my air couch, which I also bought from Amazon, but once assembled, it is much smaller. While the height is comparable, the breadth from back to front is very narrow. I'm 5'3.5, so when I sit, my knees hang over the edge of the cushion by about two inches, if that makes sense. With my legs extended, it stops at my ankles where the ottoman is fastened. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend this couch if you're tall. But until we can buy a house, we needed something to keep us from moving out of our tiny apartment. I think it's solid. The cushions are extremely rigid. We will observe its duration. All is well thus far. I'm happy with my buy.Revision 10/2018:This couch has been in use for ten months now, and it is still quite solid and secure. My husband and I can both sit on it together without breaking it, even though we each weigh around 230 pounds. My spouse weighs about 270 pounds. Although I would prefer if the cushions were a little softer, this will do. In a few months, we'll be moving.

I fell in love with this couch the moment I laid eyes on it, but I decided against buying it because I needed a futon for guests to use as a bed. However, the price was reduced, and it came with a chair that matched. Lol@The couch is a tiny bit smaller than I anticipated. But I'm 5" 10 and have a decent range of motion. It's stiff, but I recently purchased a couch shield cover that adds a little extra cushion, and I've already dozed off on it twice with fantastic results. The sofa was so simple to put together that I had it set up and ready to relax in under 20 minutes. This is the only drawback I can think of. I did that by myself. But I CANNOT GET the two pieces that slide onto the rear to slide on there (pictures above), and I tried since I didn't want to hear it from my guy friends. However, when two of them attempted, they were also unsuccessful in getting them on. I could definitely use the straps on the sofa shield couch cover to prevent them from slipping off, but I'm determined to figure something out because I adore the couch and desire the chair. However, my roommate says he would return it (since he can't figure it out) and get one that the pieces fit together ( all of them fit). and email me your suggestions. I really want to give five stars, but I can't till I can make those pieces stay in place.

I originally purchased this futon for my husband's grandma, who will be staying with us while she is visiting from abroad, but after assembling it in my son's room, we decided he might end up keeping it.Sincerely, I was quite concerned about how my husband and I would bring it up the stairs in our house, but unexpectedly, it wasn't too difficult. We simply rolled it up the stairs after it arrived folded. By the way, even though I'm nine months pregnant, all I had to do was tell my husband where angle to wheel it up the stairs, and then my toddler and I sat down to put it together. The directions were really simple and easy to follow, making assembly incredibly simple.Finding the two cushions and the tools needed to put this futon together in the hidden compartments was my favorite part of the process. It was funny how it resembled gold panning. I will now store guest bed sheets in those drawers.Being 5'10" and nine months pregnant, I found this futon to be incredibly comfortable to lay on. The color is light, which worries me with a child, but I usually cover it to prevent spills. My young child enjoyed lying and bouncing on it. Who knows, with the help of this futon, he might soon move into his own room!Another fantastic feature of this futon is that it didn't take up half of his room and can be used in a variety of positions, including sitting or lying down while watching television as well as sleeping on it.Overall, a fantastic product that is definitely worth the cost.Anyone who hosts visitors or has a young child should consider buying this device.
