I have used this twice to remove seals from a drive shaft's front and back positions. It won't be put to the test too much. It feels good to be up against more of a task than I have. long enough to obtain leverage for sealing removal. I think it will accomplish certain more tasks that a screwdriver simply cannot.

Considering the extremely affordable price, the instrument is of very high quality. It is useful for removing the seals on my tandem axle boat trailer, especially when working alone. Due to its size, it is simple to pack in the "boat box" when traveling. I've been using the traditional crow bar technique on the same trailer for 22 years, and I've always valued the leverage it provides. I'm going to attempt using a foot-long piece of pipe with this new gadget the next time! For its value, quality, and practicality, I give it five stars.

UNBELIEVABLE. I'm learning how to perform more difficult car maintenance and repairs through the hard knocks method. My 2004 Honda Accord V6 is for sale. I battled for DAYS to remove the annoying camshaft seal. After 210,000 miles, I believed it to be almost completely welded in place. I saw this kind of equipment being used on YouTube, but the engine was removed from the car, appeared to be brand-new, and the seal was unmistakably new.I experimented with the two-hooked seal pullers available at Autozone. It seems that they aren't made for Honda shaft seals. I attempted to drill holes into the seals, but the drill bit kept slipping off in unwanted places.I just came home, so I went out right away to test this instrument. I thought it would be exceedingly difficult to escape, and I feared it wouldn't work. The seal came out with hardly NO pressure applied to the handle. I tried everything, even bent screwdrivers and dental metal picks. If I could, I'd give this puller 50 stars. kept me alive. Because I didn't do this task as quickly as I thought I would, and because it is starting to get chilly here, I've started riding my motorcycle to work. Thank you so much, Lisle staff members! My sanity was saved by you!

My 2001 Honda has a few noticeable dings on the hood. It isn't worth fixing. But I was able to get a lot of it for only $30. My first kit and first experience. But these are my suggestions: both benefits and drawbacks of dent pulling. The drawbacks of nut pullingneed strength because pulling hammer dents out is a laborious process. It's actually extremely difficult. Not a simple task. Do not attempt this if you lack the necessary strength.takes time; I needed three hours to remove 70% of the dent. And it's still wavey, which presumably takes a lot longer. I don't know if it is even feasible to get it smooth because I haven't yet succeeded in doing so.Positives of dent pulling: For $30, it's not bad if you've got the power and time. beats navigating a dented vehicle. And now some advice:1) Purchase a temperature gauge.2) Heat the metal to about 130 degrees using a blowdryer. that is roughly 10 seconds of holding still.3) Cold metal does not adhere to the adhesive. The adhesive might truly stick because of the warmth. It won't simply pop off. Even the type of glue doesn't seem to matter. I was also using Walmart's translucent glue.4) In occasion, after a few pulls on stressed spots, heating the metal actually causes some dents to pop out on their own.5) Begin pulling first in wrinkled or strained regions. Sometimes, simply heating the metal makes it pop out once the stress in that region has been released. (Pops will be audible)6) Make sure the glue is completely melted, not merely melted, and that the glue gun is hot enough. The stronger the adhesion after cooling, the hotter the glue was.Five stars because the dents were repaired.

Before I noticed this kind, my intention was to get a regular seal puller. Having only seen the typical full-sized pullers before, I was a little dubious because it seemed gimmicky. The limiting constraint was the amount of available space. The first time it worked great. The 3/8 "The tool seemed sturdy in use with little wobbling or deflection, and the ratchet snapped in place quickly and securely. Additionally, the ability to ratchet the wrench handle into multiple settings WAS very helpful. On my 3/8, I used a cheater bar "To increase leverage, ratchet.

Getting a review out of the way first is its most crucial component. Reviews are vital, but keep in mind that patience is a virtue that most people lack when trying to solve a problem slowly. Regardless of certain viewpoints, I wish to research the issue thoroughly and form my own perspective. For instance, if properly cared for and not treated like a cheap toy, this device is really well crafted and should last a very long time. To use this equipment effectively and save money by removing expensive little to large dents from autos and other metal things, a person must be patient. The tabs that come with this package may not be to my taste, in which case I will need to try some others. Here, patience is the key to success. With that said, let's examine the advantages and disadvantages.Has everything you need to remove dents (apart from a glue gun and glue) and is reasonably priced. Good instructions, which are usually a benefit for individuals who really don't understand how a tool works, multiple sizes of tabs for the puller heads to use on various amounts of dents, an adjustable twin pole bridge that enables one to pass over challenging sections with just those two ends.Cons: * The lack of a glue gun in the kit (which must be purchased separately) was unnecessary since I already had one; the price would have at least quadrupled.* The kit does not include any glue sticks; you must purchase them individually.* It was less than I had anticipated, but I had to remind myself how much a drive-through happy meal costs and how much more it costs when you (Go Large) outrageously large. (This lower than expected result could also be advantageous; bigger isn't always better in some situations, and this ding is not a collision.)

Position puller jaws unmder the Pitman arm, turn center screw to remove
A heavy-duty puller for the large Pitman arms on Ford 250 and 350 trucks
Jaws are forged and heat-treated for strength
For 2005 and later Ford F250 and F350
$234
If you use it now, this puller is excellent and far superior than the subpar ones that cost $15 or less at the auto parts store. Pitman arms are all difficult to remove (especially on these Ford, Dodge and older GM trucks) No matter how strong they are, you can't just toss this thing on there and smash it with an air wrench, expecting it to come off. The greatest results come from soaking it in PB blaster or an analogous product overnight, pulling it tight with a puller, hammering the pitman arm hard on both sides, pulling it tight again, blasting it with PB blaster again, hitting it again for about a minute, and repeating. For the really difficult ones, you may need to use a propane torch (YES, this requires draining the cooling system and removing the lowest radiator line). This one is a little bigger than your typical puller; simply turn it to the side to complete the task. I've used it several times, even on Jeeps, Xterras, S10s, and other vehicles.
