I've wanted to do this for a while, but I never imagined I could handle it by myself. It took my brother and I roughly 3 hours to finish. The only other things I did were remove the shocks, unhook the top control arm from the steering knuckle, and remove the tires. I had to use a coil spring compressor, but removing lower control arm drops and springs is simple. Reverse the order of installation... There it was... Simple, one afternoon's work. Between the upper control arm and the coil spring housing, I still have plenty of space. The truck has a 38" back seat and a 37.5" front seat. Close to being level. We are ready to go after adjusting the headlights for the new angle.It doesn't feel much different in terms of handling from factory compared to the 1.5 inch leveling system after a number of days of driving it, which is fantastic.

Good wrapping and quick shipping.These spacers were just what my Cherokee needed to level the front after receiving new springs. The springs gently eased in as they slipped right on the bump stops. Had them on for approximately a month, and there was no bulge from the truck's weight.Just a quick note for Cherokee owners: A factory is needed.75 "already have a pad on your bump stop. This lift/leveling kit was applied to my 2007 Jeep Liberty. As I rebuilt the suspension on my Jeep, I had them professionally installed. They raised the height by a considerable amount. They definitely do enhance the appearance of the Jeep Liberty. I stayed with 235/70/16 tires, but I believe a pair of wheel spacers would definitely help them out (cosmetically). I upgraded the rear shocks to a longer Rancho RS5248 at the same time I updated the front struts, springs, control arms, and sway bar bushings.I've been using the Daystar equipment to drive for about two weeks now, and I have no complaints. No clunks, no bottoming out, and no change in driving style. I occasionally hear a small pop, but I now know that it might be coming from my back upper or lower control arms, which also need to be changed.

Everything went really smoothly. Two of the body mount holes in the Jeep frame had to be slightly extended, but none of the other nine did. used a dremel, although it might have been fine with a file or even sandpaper because it was just barely too small. The kit's contents appear to be of high quality. The transfer case linkage adapter was also easily installed by me. The biggest issue was having to trim my radiator shroud since I couldn't move it to avoid hitting the fan because of the bottom hoses. The simplest method to accomplish this was to remove the shroud, thus I had to take the radiator fan off in order to do so. Had to "borrow" an autoparts store's fan removal wrench. Trimming the radiator fan shroud was simple after this was removed. The other annoyance was that my gas filler tube no longer extended.5 inches past the filler housing. My hose was old and jammed on, so I had to remove it in order to draw the filler neck out farther. I recently replaced the old hose with a new one.Oh, and you will need to trim your new body mounts in the same spot if you have rocker guards or panels that use the previous body mounts (which required to be trimmed). So far as the kit is concerned, everything was excellent. The true anguish came from the other items that needed to be changed or corrected. The kit did precisely what it was supposed to accomplish, and the instructions made note of the other problems, so there was no error on its part. I suppose these issues arise when installing a body lift.Now that everything is in order, the 31s are on without rubbing. Looks fantastic. This kit for a 1 would be highly recommended by me "body lift as opposed to those who simply add pucks. You can't beat fresh bolts and mounts.

Since the OEM bushings on these trucks are CRAP and need to be replaced, I bought these because the majority of repair shops that work on Super Duty chassis recommend them as aftermarket alternatives.On a 2008 F350 Crew Cab King Ranch LWB, they were added. These were a little bit smaller than OEM, raising questions about their diameter. Daystar responded to my email about my worries regarding the size and potential for pushing through the hole by telling me to install them and not worry about them because they are the right bushings for my truck. I've only had these fitted for a week, but already the ride is smoother and there is no longer a "thunk" sound whenever I hit a bump in the road. Though stiff, the ride is not unpleasant. The results will be determined over time.Since the oval portion of the bushings did not completely fit the truck mount, I mounted them with every other bushing slot or oval rotated 90 degrees - one pointing front to back of the cab, the next ones pointing side to side of the cab, etc. I designed this with the idea that if the hardware ever came free, it would prevent the cab from shifting. Daystar did not provide torque specifications, so I used manufacturing recommendations (76 ft. lbs.). According to the instructions, the bolts on my vehicle come out from the bottom (rather than from inside the cab) and don't need any of the interior to be taken out. Do not use an impact wrench; instead, manually remove the bolts. The nuts on my truck are kept in a "cage" that also holds "back-up" on the nut. This is on my truck; other year models may be different. If you put an impact on the bolt, it will open up the cage, and you will need to remove the interior to get the nuts. My son and I worked on the installation for about three hours in total. I was well aware of the procedure and how the bushing hardware/mounts were done because I had changed a few bushings with OEM bushings a couple of years prior. Since then, other bushings have failed, and this alternative was less expensive than buying brand-new OEM bushings. The front two bushings/mounts by the radiator get water in them and rust up so bad that they don't come apart easily or at all, so if you've never had your bushings replaced and need them, be ready to have to cut them. In order to avoid having to search for them in the middle of the project, purchase some of the metal brackets/mounts for the front two sets of bushings from a junkyard or from Ford ($$$) before you start. The back three sets were quite simple to disassemble.
