The clasps being either too tight, too loose, or snagging the ties and ruining them seems to be a recurring issue in the reviews I read for several tie holders. There are no difficulties. Even when I cleaned out my scarf collection, some still need storage until their next outing. This set of scarf hangers was extremely reasonably priced and perfectly suited the need. It works best with lightweight trendy scarves, such as infinity scarves. Despite the fact that the rings appear to be wrapped in some sort of raffia (? ), I've had no trouble removing or plucking them apart. I gave one for thicker winter scarves a try, but it wasn't very successful. With this buy, I'm satisfied.

This is a cheap method to store lots of ties (and possibly scarves, but I'd be unsure about belts). You might wish to take into account my three reasons for not giving it five stars.First off, it occupies more room than I anticipated. By the time you reach the bottom, you have 10 ties that are doubled over and fill your closet with a substantial amount of silk.Second, it's difficult to quickly browse the ties. Only the border or a little portion of the midsection (where it is looped over) of the ties are visible.Finally, it appears shaky. To be clear, it's nicely constructed and appears to be difficult to break. However, the moving parts only barely fit together. Sometimes you have to hold an arm down in the X position to keep it there.A wooden bar with rotating metal clips on the bottom serves as my son's tie organizer. Although it costs more than twice as much as two of these, it performs better. I'm good with this one for my needs.

I'm not sure whether they altered the design, but unlike the unfavorable reports I've read, mine is free of wires or sharp edges that keep the pieces together. It appears to be one continuous piece of metal that has been welded together after being looped repeatedly. Perhaps the reviewers received a different design or brand, or the business altered the product in response to concerns. Mine is AMAZING. I needed something to keep the several scarves I have gathered because I have a slight obsession with scarves of all kinds. This is just great! It uses the space in the closet so beautifully, sitting flat. I adore it so much! I think $7.99 is a GREAT bargain for it. I've looked at a ton of these on other websites, and either this one is significantly more expensive than the others or there are others at roughly the same price that are not nearly as easy to use and space-saving. I ADORE IT!
