I gave it five stars since it is a reliable and simple to use product. My curtains are quite heavy, and the curtain rod is doing nicely. In order to replace my existing brackets, which are brittle and some of which broke off when I was pulling the curtains, I ordered an additional dozen brackets.

We installed brand-new, incredibly energy-efficient windows. They encroach further into the window opening, and since the trim is constructed of the same material throughout, the entire installation functions as a one piece. Even though we still desired blinds, I refrained from screwing them into the pricey window material. There was no other choice than to fasten the blind brackets as deeply as possible into the casement molding that surrounded it and then through that into the window opening frame behind it. I anticipated it would cause the blind to protrude just far enough that the current, fixed curtain rod brackets would not be long enough. These movable brackets were the ideal answer. The only improvement that could have been made is if the screw holes for wall installation had been spaced exactly the same as the old ones.

These were simple to install and simple to access with a drill. I was grateful for the adjustable depth because I needed to match them to a set that already existed and came with the rods (I've purchased others that do not make the screw very accessible to tighten) (one set got thrown out accidentally). The depth of the set I already owned could be matched, and the oil-rubbed bronze color filled the bill.

To start, the delivery went above and above my expectations. I placed my order on a Tuesday afternoon, and it arrived in Indiana on a Friday morning.Regarding the product, I'm very delighted I found them and bought them! My current apartment has ugly vertical blinds on every window, and I have completely given up on hanging window treatments because I can never figure out how to hang a rod over the blinds because they stick out so far from the wall. I never hang window treatments because I always think they are a pain in the rear. Furthermore, I can't hang anything anyway. I'm not sure what made me search "how to install curtains over vertical blinds," but I was probably tired of seeing the unsightly blinds. I discovered the forbidden brackets and made the decision to gamble. They are very simple. bought a 3/4 rod and matching grooved panels. I'm considering getting more no-no brackets for my living room as a future step. I'm grateful.P.S. I wish I could purchase these.

Although they are very solid, I was concerned about hanging very heavy curtains so far from the wall (about 4 inches). It is made of sturdy metal and has a lovely rubbery black covering. A screw securely holds the length from the wall once you adjust it. Overall, I'm quite happy with it, but I should have started off by purchasing 4 instead! To support the rod in the midst of my thick curtains, I need one. If you have thick curtains or large windows, I advise getting the set of 4.

Since I don't care much about design, I didn't want to invest in curtain rods when I wanted to hang some curtains on my covered porch. As a result of our lengthy runs and the high cost of rods, I used some 1-inch EMT thin wall electrical tubing that I had extra from building garden frame structures to support shade netting. After painting the sections and cleaning the pipe with steel wool, they fit perfectly into these holders. Due to a very lengthy run, I joined two pipe pieces with connectors, and it not only functions well but also looks beautiful. I place these on either side of the window so that I can use ring clips and move the curtains as needed. These brackets are of high quality and were well worth the $9 that they cost.

I purchased a new curtain since the shade effect in my bedroom has to be improved. But until I found this single bracket, which is truly remarkable, the original bracket was not sturdy enough to hang my new curtain. For a curtain pole on the window in the box room, we utilized these brackets. They completed the task without incident. They are not fancy because they are "AmazonBasics" ones, but they do keep the curtain rod up as we intended it to.I do believe that in order to handle the weight of the larger curtains, you would need to purchase an additional set for a longer pole/larger window. Nevertheless, they have served our needs exactly.

If you plan to hang curtain rods, you absolutely must get this item! I can't express how quickly my curtain rod was installed enough!
