Prepac Black Wall Mounted Desk Hutch Review:

To add a bit additional storage, I was looking for something to hang above my workstation. Although it was expensive, I felt this would be a terrific find. It arrived earlier than anticipated and shipped quickly. It has good packaging. It came together quite quickly. I discovered I was missing the mounting board after putting everything together. For me, it's not a huge problem. I wasn't prepared for the length of the screws that were included with hanging this hutch. I suppose that given how heavy the product is, I should have anticipated them to be longer.I would strongly advise making sure you can drill into your studs if, like me, you plan to put this hutch above a glass desk. I saw reviews in which people claimed they had simply bored into the dry wall. Although the wood boards used to hang the hutch are brilliant and would evenly spread the weight, I wouldn't try to hold the hutch into the wall using only dry wall. This hutch weighs 40 lbs. Anyhow, I made the decision to pre-drill into my studs to see how far I could get the screw into the wall before going to the hassle of buying the mounting board, but I was only able to get it to go as far as halfway into the wall. The screw would just not go all the way into the stud, even if I took into account the wood board. An inch of the screw would protrude.Even though I have no construction-related expertise, I believe I'm hitting concrete. They did inform me that concrete was utilized for noise control because my building is an old one. I need to hang the hutch on a wall that is flat with the wall of the hallway outside. The nail was extremely hot to the touch when I removed it from the wall. I tested two separate locations on the wall's opposing sides, and both yielded the same outcome. The wall was not being penetrated by the nail.Although I absolutely like the hutch and think it looks great, I'm returning it. It can't be hung where I want it to be. I don't really want to spend extra money trying to find different ways to hang the hutch because this cost $90 with shipping.Without a doubt, I would suggest this to anyone looking for a sturdy hutch, but I would advise testing the location where you wish to hang it. Don't purchase it, assemble it, and then realize it won't function. The wall can be repaired far more easily than it can be assembled, disassembled, and shipped back.I've already returned it, but based on the size of my index finger, I estimate the nail to be between 3 and 3.5 inches long. possibly a little bit more.

Tribesigns Computer Desk with Hutch, Modern Writing Desk with Storage Shelves, 47 Inches Office Desk Study Table Gaming Desk Workstation for Home Office, Vintage + Black Legs Review:

We both adore the desk I built for my partner after purchasing it. The desk has a nice appearance and is cosy to sit at for extended periods of time. Compared to many other items of this nature that need to be put together at home, it was incredibly simple to assemble. She can also stick various objects to it because the legs are magnetic and made of metal. Without a doubt, this desk is worth the cost. If you can and have the tools, save the money and assemble it yourself.

Sauder Edge Water Computer Desk With Hutch, L: 59.06" x W: 23.31" x H: 46.42", Auburn Cherry finish Review:

To start, I'd like to say that I only submit reviews when I have strong feelings – positive or negative – about a purchase. In light of that...My husband thought the construction and instruction manual were really well done. That is very high praise coming from someone who has spent his whole adult life working in the construction and mechanical industries. For me, it met all the criteria: it was aesthetically pleasing, wasn't enormous, had plenty of flexible storage, and had a suitable working surface for using a laptop (the vertical cubbies were exactly what I was looking for - handy but neat).I looked around for the ideal desk and this one was it. I appreciate the feedback from my fellow Amazon reviewers as well as their help with a query I had.

Sauder Orchard Hills Computer Desk, Carolina Oak finish Review:

Okay, so to start with, this comes in a box that is roughly 6 X 20 X 48 high and weights the same as a boy in the fourth grade. It's all in that one box, are you saying? after which the riddle is clarified when you attempt to take it up. Packaging that is uniquely creative. I put off assembling the item the day I got it and had my SIL complete the task, but after letting it sit in the box for a few days, I made up my mind to try.I dragged the box into my room and started to open it up and sort through the contents. The first three hours went without a hitch, largely because I was able to complete everything up until that point while seated on my heiney in my chair. It started to annoy me when I had to stand up, stoop, and crawl on the floor to fasten screws to the inside of the half-finished desk, but if you're not elderly, obese, or out of shape it probably won't bother you too much.I'm very unsure of how many of the round cam thingies are loose again now that it's set up because they tend to loosen and need to be tightened. I kind of rely on gravity to keep everything in place, so I wouldn't even consider taking it up and moving it. Installing the kick plate under the door and the trim strip under the little drawer are two additional stages that may be added to the instructions to simplify final applications. The little plastic bracing components may have been assembled beforehand. And I have absolutely no idea what the hidden cams on the drawer slides are for. I'm not sure why they're there, but they are.Positives: It took about four and a half hours to put together, but I didn't rush it. It looks exactly like the picture and feels robust when those cam things are tight. Although this is not my first DIY furniture item, it is the biggest, the directions are quite clear. In conclusion, it's similar to childbirth in that if enough time passes, I would forget the discomfort and try it again, but if you asked me right now, I would deliver one safely. As for portion B's plastic braces, good luck putting the screws in there. Fair enough.

Bush Furniture Fairview L Shaped Desk with Hutch, Antique Black Review:

Over the years, as I've moved houses and had different amounts of room for my office/studio, I've purchased a variety of desks. Because of how much smaller our new home is than our prior residences, I needed to be able to utilize the space there extremely effectively. I searched high and low for a corner or L-shaped desk. and finding them is difficult. Even IKEA was an experiment for me, and I HATED their corner desks. Finally, I found this one, and even though there were no reviews, I bought it since the measurements were ideal for the area (which they are) and I liked the way the desk looked.Three hefty boxes containing the desk were delivered. Everything was really carefully packed (my FedEx man wasn't quite delighted...)Overall, I truly enjoy this desk's design details and how well it serves my needs, although there are a few areas where it could have been improved.First of all, there are a LOT of components and pieces, and the directions were a little unclear. Additionally, some of those components are VERY HEAVY. Help will be required. The desk's base required six hours of assembly from my husband and sister. I don't remember how long it took to set up the hutch, but it was a nuisance because I had to relocate the desk's base so I could attach the hutch and then have to move the whole thing back into place. Is it too weighty to mention? The back left corner of that process is weak; if we hadn't been careful, we would very easily have damaged those two supports, and that would have been the end of everything.By the way, the image appears to be very white, but it's actually more of a faded white. The desktop's color (brown) is true to color. Each component—and, once more, there are MANY—has a tiny label with the part number on it so you can match it up with the instructions. Sadly, you have to be cautious while removing such labels because they easily rip the finish off. How well or how long the finish will hold up is uncertain. and I'm hoping I'll never have to paint it!As there actually isn't enough room for a printer and scanner, believe it or not, hubs constructed a (invisible) platform on top of the hutch out of leftover wood. Additionally, I mounted my PC speakers there. I find it amusing when I print and the paper flies down onto my desk. Although scanning isn't exactly convenient, I merely pull it down on the writing surface for large assignments.Only one shelf is included in the cabinet on the left, which is insufficient. I got in touch with the maker and was able to find two more at a fair price.Behind the doors of the hutch, there are two somewhat useless cabinet areas. To be used to their greatest potential, they truly need at least one, if not two shelves. Again, not very useful because at the moment I just have a couple things caught in there randomly. That is the part my OCD enjoys the least. But as you can see from my photo, I'm using the desk both for practical purposes and as attractive furniture.

Sauder Orchard Hills Computer Desk with Hutch, Carolina Oak finish Review:

For my daughter, this student desk is excellent. The directions were my only quibble. I believe there are long edges for the underside of the desk and the underside of the hutch while putting this together. The directions advise assembling the two lengthy, thin sections first. My advice is to hold off until the very end. The parts prevented the desk's legs, or bottom supports, from properly adhering to the surface of the desk. Everything required to fit properly, therefore the thin components had to be taken out and replaced. But once finished, it is quite attractive and pleasant and durable. I would also advise assembling it in the room you intend to use it in. Once assembled, it is incredibly hefty. Additionally, I finished the bottom desk portion first, assembled the hutch portion, and then joined the two pieces. The instructions advise assembling everything on the ground, then lifting or pushing it up once done.

Sauder Harbor View Computer Desk with Hutch, L: 62.21" x W: 23.50" x H: 57.36", Antiqued Paint finish Review:

Happy with the desk, however after reading other reviews, it wasn't an easy decision. I had some reservations about getting this desk. There are always good and negative ones, making the debate of your purchase challenging. I still decided to buy the desk, and I'm glad I did. My husband and I put it together in approximately 3 hours, including a few breaks. Important things to keep in mind: Be sure to read the instructions thoroughly and carefully follow each step. The tower door and the pull-out keyboard tray were criticized in some of the other reviews for slamming against each other. On the last page, there is a process that describes how to resolve this issue in detail. To get it perfect, you'll need to experiment with a two-step technique. Additionally, it will take at least two powerful individuals to lift it into an upright position. However, take caution since two bolts on the back keyboard side of the desk still need to be tightened for the proper stability. I believe that many individuals overlook this stage, which is why they complain that the leg breaks under the weight. I hope my review is helpful to anyone who are unsure. I'm happy I made the desk purchase because it has turned my new craft office into a haven where I can create gifts for my loved ones and friends.

Sauder Computer Armoire, Cinnamon Cherry finish Review:

Before making a purchase, I read the reviews and was terrified. Because it was exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price, I bought it nevertheless. I was committed to making it happen! It was laborious to put together. Mostly because I couldn't finish several parts of it by myself. Because of the unfavorable evaluations, I had the idea going into the build that the pieces wouldn't fit. I was upset when it appeared that they didn't, but as I've already said, I was determined to make it work for my family and me. It appears to fit. really well quite tightly and strongly. If you push it firmly enough to fit it in connecting holes and other such things, you just have to have faith that it won't break. simple directions Looks fantastic! difficult to construct by one person. is not as long as most people would want, yet it still serves its purpose. Ideal for a small apartment. It had some minor damage, which was disappointing, but by the time I realized it, I had already begun to build, so... oh well. The bookshelves and filing cabinet were also mine. The colors are an exact match.:) The finished result, the finished product next to a 6 foot tall guy, and some of the damages are all shown in the pictures.

Sauder Harbor View Hutch, Salt Oak finish Review:

It was bought to go with the Salt Oak Sauder Harbor View L-Shaped Computer Desk, and it looks fantastic in my new area. With the exception of needing assistance flipping it over and placing it on top of the desk, the assembly of the hutch was simple and the directions were clear. The color is precisely as shown in the picture, and I enjoy its gorgeous rustic driftwood hue.But I can't quite give it five stars because of two aspects I don't particularly like:(1) To make greater use of the storage space, the two cabinets should have a built-in shelf. Unless I go out and buy a shelf to place inside, the cabinets are a fair size but a waste of space.(2) The hutch's backing is merely a paper-thin sheet of cardboard that has been laminated; it is by no means robust. Although the cardboard backing of a corkboard can be readily slid out, I'd want to be able to install or hang one there. Although the cardboard backing on all of my Sauder pieces is fairly typical of low-cost furniture, I had hoped for something a little more durable for the hutch's back.

Bush Furniture Cabot 60W Hutch, Espresso Oak Review:

This hutch was delivered on time, undamaged, and in perfect condition. One of the 62 nails that hold the backboard in place was missing. This wasn't an issue because 61 nails were sufficient, and the backboard was still completely secure. After final assembly, the structure seems sturdy, however it is built of cheap particle board, and the assembly flaws are not tolerable. The instructions in the manual were ambiguous, and I found it challenging to read and comprehend the small print and graphics. The majority of it, though, I assembled correctly and without incident. I suggest a magnifying glass and a lot of patience if you have trouble reading. Additionally advised is a second set of hands. It was difficult to install the door, and the instruction manual's lack of guidance caused me to do it wrong. Ultimately, I positioned the door mount above the hinge. It was too late for me to halt when I heard crackling coming from the particle board. I had to completely replace the screws because every single one of them had completely pulled away the material. After some trial and error, I realized that the hinges should be placed outside of the mount rather than inside of it. With butterfly bolts that ran straight through the top of the hutch, I replaced the mounts. It is now safe and operating as it should. This crucial detail is absent from the handbook, which is at fault. I would advise Bush Furniture to examine and improve their manual to make it more detailed and understandable.Construction is excellent for what I require, however operator error and subsequent damage deducted a star.My computer monitor has 18 inches of vertical clearance in the lower section of the hutch. Tomorrow, I'll put everything together with my new workstation. I'm hoping the measurements match what was advertised. Will suggest caution while building is underway.
