Yes, you can hang heavy things with Command Strips. I have used them to hang heavy pictures and mirrors with no problem.
Command Hooks are designed to not damage paint or other surfaces with their adhesive strips. However, it is always best to test the hook on an inconspicuous area before using it on a more visible spot.
If you need to hang something awkward, you can use a few different methods. One is to use painters tape to secure the item to the wall. You can also use command strips or 3M strips. Another method is to use nails or screws.
If you're looking to spruce up your garage a bit or create more storage space, hanging things on the walls is a great way to do it. Here are a few tips on how to hang things on garage walls: - First, use wall anchors if you're going to be hanging anything heavy. This will help keep things sturdy and prevent damage to your wall. - Next, use screws or nails that are appropriate for the material you're hanging. For example, if you're hanging a heavy toolbox, use screws that are meant for metal. -

There is no way to match the pricing on these, for sure! Because I use these SO MUCH both inside and outside the house, trust me when I say that I looked everywhere. I use them in the laundry room to hang anything with a strap, in the shower to hang the family puffy-poofs, in the kitchen to hang pot scrubbers and bottle brushes, outdoors to hang my plastic tarps so I can wash them with the garden hose, inside to hang seasonal decorations, etc. These have little, transparent, no-scratch plastic tips, which are fantastic if you want to use them for hanging scarves or other delicate goods. However, if you're going to use them in moist areas, I would recommend removing the tips since otherwise, the plastic will over time turn moldy and disgusting. They stand 3 1/2 inches tall, with one end being little bigger than the other. While the smaller end swings gracefully over a shower curtain rod, the larger end hangs elegantly on a closet rod or door knob. They have been getting wet, yet they haven't rusted at all.

The back is transparent, they cling on quite well, and best of all, they don't show up very much. Their size is comparable to some Command hooks, however those are easier to see because of their solid white bases. These hooks, like the others, won't scratch the surface if you need to remove them. They come in useful when I need to recharge a device or sync my phone's music and photographs using a computer's USB ports because I've used them to hold cords to my desk. They don't draw as much attention as the other hooks I've used, thus they look much better. Similar results are obtained when I use them to fasten curtain tiebacks to the wall behind the curtain. I can sometimes see the more obvious Command hooks I had been using, but not these. In addition, I can remove the backing to make the hooks fit up closer to the border of the window frame. They still stay on without issue because they aren't supporting much weight. If you are unhappy with the location, it is simple to remove them and restick them. The second time, I didn't even need to "wipe" off the backs in order to get a good stick. They can hold greater weight when necessary and withstand some damage because to the larger stick area. I have two surge protector power strips that see a lot of activity when people plug and unplug devices. It has been firmly grasped by the hooks.

These hooks were incredibly effective. Over the months of December and January, I installed one on my black painted front door in temps that ranged from 5 degrees to 68 degrees. When I tried to remove the hook and corresponding sticker, I was certain there would be a mark given all of the temperature changes this year, but it not only stayed on and held my ornamental wreath (which was not lightweight!). Nothing... nothing at all! I was in awe. The area where the hook was still appears to be brand-new and shows no signs of grease, deterioration, or other hook-related damage. I now know the hook I always use for wreaths!

In order to receive local channels and the long connection from the television to the window, we "cut the cord" with cable and only use one of those ridiculous antennae. Unattractive!! To make it less obvious, I purchased a white antennae to run down the trim, and I used these tiny command hooks to secure it. Excellent results! I used rubbing alcohol to wipe the wall and trim as directed. I had to remove a few to adjust them, and when I did, they came off as expected, but once more, I did as I was told. These hooks eliminated an eyesore without the need to drill holes. I adore it. These are minuscule. It would be ideal to use balloon strings, Christmas lights, etc.

Overall, these work well, and if you can't drill holes in your wall for some reason (for example, I'm renting, and the landlord is picky about that), then they're the best option I'm aware of. However, for some items, it would be better to put a nail, screw, bolt, or other type of attachment in the wall because those will hold more weight, and the likelihood of a nail pulling itself out of the wall and damaging what you're hanging is going to be much lower But it's not always possible to hammer nails into the wall. The white ones stand out quite a bit if your wall isn't white, therefore overall I like these clear hooks over the white ones. However, I discovered that the white ones stuck to one of my walls better than the clear ones did, thus I believe that the white ones' stickiness is superior. But it does demonstrate that these hooks will adhere to some surfaces more effectively than others, so your results may vary. However, I've discovered that the white hooks stick _very_ securely to the walls that both the clear and white hooks worked on. I removed a large number of the white ones and substituted them with the clear ones because I didn't like how the white ones looked. The majority of the hooks were surprisingly easy to remove without causing any damage to the wall. However, in a few instances, the strip that you pull down to remove them from the wall split right at the edge of the plastic, making it impossible for me to use it to remove the hook from the wall. As a result, it was very challenging to remove the hook from the wall because it was firmly adhered. Since I haven't tried to take any of the clear ones off yet, I can't say for sure if they adhere to that wall quite as firmly. However, they have adhered to that wall enough adequately for my needs. They didn't adhere well to that particular wall with the various paint. Personally, I'd advise starting with the clear ones to see if they work for you. If they don't stick well enough, I'd then propose trying the white ones if your wall isn't white (and possibly even if it is).The fact that the hook is not fastened to the plastic is my primary issue with these hooks (both white and clear). In essence, it is hinged where it is attached to the plastic. In order to remove an object from a hook that can't be pulled off it without touching the hook (such as a calendar), you must keep the hook in place with your finger, which can be very bothersome if the hook is high up on the wall. With something like a frying pan, it probably wouldn't be an issue, but for the items I've been hanging, it's been really inconvenient. It's annoying to have to do it, but my method of gluing the hook to the plastic seems to work okay. Realizing that you need to glue them _before_ hanging them on the wall also helps. The plastic component that adheres to the wall sticking up quite a bit above what you hang is another problem (presumably so that it has lots of surface area to stick to the wall). As a result, you cannot hang anything directly over the edge of the ceiling, parallel to the top of a cabinet, or anywhere else like that. You're stuck with a 2 inch-plus gap. The smaller hooks from 3M are shorter and would stick up less, but they are only guaranteed to hold up to.5 pounds, as opposed to the 2 pounds that they are supposed to hold. This greater size appears to be the price for making them able to support more weight. In any case, there are obviously some issues with these hooks, but there aren't any better options that I'm aware of if you want to be able to hang things without making a hole in your wall. And based on what I've observed, your chances of being able to remove them from the wall in the future without harming the paint are decent, but it's not a given.

When hanging Christmas lights, we always utilized them. No issues. They are strong enough, we discovered, to support a 25-foot telephone cable along the wall, toward the ceiling. The hooks didn't come loose as other people claimed. Following the instructions, we used alcohol to wipe the wall, placed the tabs precisely, and then waited an hour before hanging the wire. To make the wire reach, we even had to yank on it a bit and take some detours, so it now only hangs on the hooks. They are still not showing any signs of releasing. If you place them properly, they won't truly clip onto the cord like the other variety because the hook is just a hook. There is still no indication that the hook wants to draw away from the wall where the line needed to travel vertically up or down; instead, the cord is just hanging from the hook at the top. decent, durable adhesive. nice shade of white simple to erect Regarding size, I believe they are fantastic for Xmas lights, phone wire, light speaker wire, etc. They would most likely function with standard electrical cords, extension cords, and perhaps even plain USB. However, they won't function with thick or oblong cords like surge suppressors, RJ-45, coaxial, or anything of the sort. However, Command does have a little more expensive, larger, and more durable product that does work for that. Instead of using decorative clips, look for cord clips.

investigating all the potential uses for these tiny hooks! I've hung charger wires inside my closet door, suspended coffee cups from kitchen cabinets, and used them to hang hats and scarves inside a bedroom closet. I've also used them to decorate for holidays. However, the hook's modest size limits what you may hang.
There are many ways to organize your tackle. Some anglers prefer to keep their tackle in a tackle box, while others prefer to keep it in a fishing vest or backpack. tackle can also be organized by the type of fishing you are doing. For example, if you are fishing for bass, you might keep your lures in one compartment and your bait in another. You can also organize your tackle by the season. For example, you might keep your summer tackle in one tackle box and your winter tackle in another.
Fishing lures can be stored in a number of ways, depending on their size, shape, and type. Smaller lures can be stored in tackle boxes, while larger lures may need to be stored in a storage bin or on a wall-mounted rack. Lures should be stored in a cool, dry place to prevent them from rusting or deteriorating.
A command hook can hold up to 3 pounds.
