Use self-sealing tape at the antenna instead; this IS NOT for the connection to the antenna.My coaxial wire enters the camper roof through a factory-made hole in THE BASEPLATE, not through a rooftop hole that a creative installer made.The large end of the coaxial cable snaps onto the baseplate port, and most importantly, the inner diameters fit snuggly over RG-6 or RG-59 coaxial cable.After changing the cable, silicone should be poured into the hole left behind.Apply Dicor to the top and bottom of the boot while being sure to keep it away from the rotating component by sliding it over the porthole.I rotated the antenna a few degrees to be sure after waiting 10 minutes.Before stressing the cable and boot, give the Dicor 48 hours.

I purchased a US size 12 medium. Excellent fit. Depending on the manufacturer, I often wear sizes 12 to 13 (occasionally broad). The 12s are similar to a 12.5–13. They are robust and pleasant. All in all, I really enjoy them. I do have one criticism, though. AVOID: My size 12 shoes won't fit in between the base and the left foot shifter. The toe is enormous. Since I don't often shift into neutral, I'm getting by.

The adhesive is clearly evident where it was adhered to the boot's sole because the heel is so tall. Only around 1/8 inch of tread is deep. They are too tight across the toes right out of the box, but if you soak them in some neatsfoot oil and then put them in the sun for about an hour before your first ride, they will loosen out and fit well. Large, thick, and tall boot that might or might not endure the upcoming 30,000 miles. I can now state that these boots are a little unfriendly after 300 km. Choose a half size larger because the square toe takes up crucial toe space. As tough as a 2x4, the sole is. I had to relocate my heel rests so that I could shift because the toe sticks up so high (about 2-1/2 inches tall). My previous boots were just 1-1/25" tall when brand-new. These objects awkwardly point your toes upward when you are standing stationary by about an inch. They ought to work just fine for keeping you waiting at the lights if you don't have to walk or stand in them. Fits more closely to a workboot.

Based on how much security they provide in relation to the cost, I gave them four stars. I'll start by saying that these boots are of a great caliber and include wonderful features that you might find on more expensive models. They provide excellent foot, ankle, and shin protection. They provide outstanding protection while still being comfortable enough to bike in all day. They are also strong and well-made. I've put approximately 20 hours of strenuous dirt bike trail riding into these, and they're still in excellent condition.The bad news is that these boots are not at all water-resistant. Your foot and socks will get wet the first time you step in water. Even though I wear over-the-boot MX pants while I ride, my socks are always wet when I get home. There is a water-resistant liner, however the flexible upper portion of the front of the boot easily leaks water. The second issue is that they are difficult to walk in. They are slightly more flexible than certain riding boots. It will therefore be more difficult if you wish to dismount your bike at a store or fueling station. I bought these so I could ride my dual sport bike in them, but I also occasionally want to get off the bike and go walking. The greatest footwear for that wouldn't be these. On foot, the souls also don't provide very much traction in the muck.Instead of a trail or dual sport/adventure boot, these would be more appropriate for a track-only boot. Overall, I think they are excellent value and would suggest them to anyone on a tight budget.

The most comfy and well-fitting Harley Davidson boots I've ever owned. No need for a break-in. I wore these to a doctor's visit with leggings and got several praises.They fit me normally at an 8 and are true to size. No issues at all with breadth.My feet also appear smaller because to the boots, which is sort of interesting.Several scuff marks are there on them, but I don't mind. These Harley-Davidson boots are excellent for riding. It gives them a little more personality, but it doesn't diminish how nice they are. If someone wants them to be flawless at all times, they should use shoe polish or utilize non-leather clothing.I suggest these boots. Love them endlessly.

The choice of whether to keep the strap that goes under the heel should be up to each user. I took it off because I don't think it offers a better fit or hold for me. Other reviewers claimed that it was slippery, but I disagreed. It's simple to put on, stays on, and offers good protection. Although I have stopped to run a few small errands while wearing it, I wouldn't advise doing so for prolonged periods of time off the bike. The strap that attaches to the bottom of the shoes is not intended for heavy walking. I'm unsure of how well it will fit over a boot, but it looks good with my leather slip-on shoes.

Simple but effective stuff. Converse or soft-toed shoes (which you shouldn't actually be riding in anyhow) work better than boots or big shoes. The lower half of the guard may be secured to your shoe with a bungee strap, which would be the only design defect. This problem is somewhat by the top strap that connects to the laces, but you still need to be careful not to slide your foot into the pegs while shifting.
