Use this while working with steel rings and when working with bars. In contrast to using gloves or exercising without chalk, where there is always a slight hesitation that you might slip due to lack of grip, this stuff provides excellent grip and prevents your palms from getting sweaty while exercising outdoors in Florida, so I feel completely secure. It's just regular gym chalk. It applies and functions just like regular gym chalk. If you're not cautious, or if you're a soulless devil who intentionally crumbles perfectly good chalk into the bucket so no one else can use it the way St. Hyacinth (the patron saint of weightlifting) intended—to be drawn on the fingers and palms like a huge crayon—it also breaks like conventional gym chalk.Trying to share this completely typical gym chalk with my weightlifting colleagues is the only issue I have with it. I recently became quite involved in powerlifting, and I had never used chalk before. Since my coach doesn't support wrist wraps, I wanted something to aid my grip now that I'm beginning to lift 400 pounds or more. This was unquestionably a wise choice. Yes. Throughout the entire workout, the chalk comes off. Yes. Even though it will continue to spread everywhere, it is quite simple to clean up with a dry towel or whatever. I believe that this substance is intended to be used in the final few sets to aid achieve a 1RM. You might just need to use it a few times if you want it to last throughout your entire workout. Works FANTASTIC!This thing has so many various uses that it's crazy! I use it largely for weightlifting to help with grip. I have used it so far for weightlifting and removing jar and can lids.-while riding my bicycle (I put a little on my hands to prevent slipping off the handlebars and loosing grip), -and even to remove the oil filter from my automobile when I was changing the oil! I was able to "get a grip" by lugging in all the goods in one trip, tipping a Smart Car onto its side, and hurling it in my enemy's face as he tried to exile me to a distant galaxy. Chalk dried up the oil wonderfully.-assembling Ikea furniture (dull, slippery screws); -slapping my girlfriend and leaving a weird handprint on her leggings.Finally, even though this won't endow you with superhuman strength, it will seem like you have the strength to snag the moon out of the sky and hold it there for a good 15-20 seconds!

I don't often give items five stars, but this is deserving of it! The majority of gyms forbid chalk because it can be messy, and I haven't used it in more than 4 years. I bought this because I wanted to lift more weight without straps. You only need to rub it in with a drop that is little smaller than a dime, I swear. It starts out translucent but thickens into genuine chalk after 30 seconds! It's incredible! Similar to chalk in every way, this product is better in that there isn't a mess from powder flying everywhere. This lotion is EASY to wash off and I STRONGLY suggest it! Absolutely would love to purchase it once more!

It was effective for my ASMR needs. Although it wasn't quite as crumbly as BSN or Chalkness, this chalk was wonderful for recycling. Recycling crushed into a fantastic powder. Since the chalk did not arrive damaged, it can be used for paste coating or colouring.

I've had this chalk for almost three years, and I just threw the last block into my gym bag. The price has mysteriously increased by 50–70% since then, so I used Amazon to acquire a different brand of replacement stock.You cannot bring a block of this to the gym and use it to directly chalk your hands. It will snap and fall apart. I break up one or two blocks into a large Ziploc bag that I can use to dip both hands into to make chalk that works well, is quite clean, and lasts a long time dependant on how much I use it.This chalk is not enough, according to other commenters, for rock climbing. You might require a little extra resin for that. I'm not sure. But I can tell you that it is ideal for lifting barbells. Just a light dusting, quickly rubbing it in like hand lotion, would do; I don't need a thick layer of it on my hands. When you crumble it, it turns into a light powder that resembles talc and is extremely dry, exactly how you want it.Every week when I do hard deadlifts, I utilize it (started using it at 275 when I was a novice deadlifter.) I also use it when I perform 430-pound Farmer's Carries with a big trap bar once a week, as well as when I'm overhead pressing hard and perspiring a lot (usually only 3-4 months over summer, as the gym is cool enough the rest of the year that I get a solid heavy press grip without it.)I don't lift using straps. This chalk serves as my primary lifting aid because I deadlift using a hook grip. I'm overjoyed with it. Because it crumbles easily, I like to keep it in a Ziploc bag and take it out as needed. I've never experienced any grip issues when using it. Never once. In fact, when I use it, I don't even think about my grip, which is a solid evidence that it's effective.

This chalk is fantastic! I primarily utilize it for complex movements like the deadlift, squat, and bench press. It undoubtedly improves my grip. Now that I can have a decent grip, I can deadlift such a large amount of weight. I used to be able to deadlift 205x4 without it slipping halfway through a rep, but now I can deadlift 235x5 without it slipping! This has definitely helped because my palms tend to get very sweaty. It's also not too disorganized. I anticipate using this chalk for a very long time—possibly a whole year or maybe a half—:) Okay, I lied; nearly a year later, I've only used a couple of blocks. I crushed it into an empty container and had to break open a second block after losing one at the gym. I probably won't need to buy chalk for years to come because this device comes with 8.
