This lovely guide pole kit contains all the components I required for my ShoreLand'r trailer. Every time there was a crosswind at the dock, I was fighting my 18-foot Lund Fisherman. My wife and I eventually had enough as we repeatedly failed to center the boat on the trailer. I bought these since my days of fighting the wind are done because my dad had these on his yacht and I remembered how beautifully they performed. They come with all the required hardware and are simple to install, requiring around an hour. My boat is always centered on the trailer after a thorough adjustment, so I don't have to worry about it moving when I draw the boat out of the water. It also makes the boat trailer much more noticeable when being backed into the water. Drill a tiny hole for the poles in the end cap as a piece of advice. If not, the pole will get airtight as you back into the water, which will cause the cap to fly off.

I was covering a tritoon pontoon trailer's bunks. I divided the 18" width into two pieces, each measuring 9" wide, to cover the tops, sides, and bottoms of painted #1 pine 2" x 4" planks. It allows the water to drain away from the wood much more quickly because the bottom isn't completely covered. The treatment provider and I talked about utilizing pressure treated wood (micronized copper azole), and they both agreed that there was a good chance that the aluminum pontoons would corrode. Even with the carpeting, they strongly discouraged placing treated wood next to metal. Very effectively forming around the boards, this carpet was fastened with 1/2 "metallic staples. I would strongly suggest this carpet due to its 18 "width, flexibility when forming around boards, and reliable quality!

This thing appears to be suitable for the job. It fits wonderfully on the base, as you can see in the picture, because I recently placed it. Even though it's true that many people complain that it's not genuine size, it's still highly useful for my purposes. To allow the rubber cone to move around when the boat arrives, I inserted two more washers—one on each inside side between the cone and the metal base. I really enjoyed it.

I've read reviews where people expressed fear about this product's plastic cracking. After receiving it, I can now understand why they would have cracked the plastic, but if you do this correctly, there should be absolutely no need for fear. This fits perfectly on my older, very heavy 85HP Evinrude. The key is to tightly fasten the motor-side connector to the motor and the trailer-side connector to the trailer (again, I use a stiff bungee; note that they only give you ONE bungee cord, but I recommend TWO). As for the belt and suspenders, I strongly advise a strap from the transom across your motor back to the other side of the transom to lessen any up/down movement if your trailer were to hit a hard bump as even the This configuration provides a stable, unmoving motor that rests high where you want it to in order to lessen stress on the transom.

The package contains 2 (a pair), as stated. Perhaps the recipient of one already had a package that was opened?It is VERY simple to install on the appropriate size post if you read the installation instructions. It works excellent to simply put soap, either in a spray bottle like the one I had or few drips on the post before to installation.Works perfectly with the LED lights I added on the 40" CE Smith post. You can't beat purchasing a noodle and preparing a wrap for it for about $24.00.I did change their extremely huge zip tie for a somewhat smaller one so that it will "seal up better" on the ends.They were set up by me to safeguard a Sea Ray 240 Sundancer. They're doing fine so far! Very happy.
