I use it for our softball league even though I know it's overkill for baseball. It's useful for scooping and scraping balls out of the grass, though.Excellent build quality; broke in quickly enough to start playing catch using Aso's break-in technique using warm water, a rubber mallet, and a ball. It was fully broken in by the second week of intermittent catches and use in one game. It takes a little getting used to because the padding is so good quality that you barely feel the ball in the glove, but overall, wonderful glove. It is a little bit more dense than the A2000, doesn't produce the same *pop* sound, and is a little bit more boring in my opinion. Don't think I'll ever skimp out on a glove again compared to the cheapies I've used in the past because you can tell by the build quality how well these hold up. I would strongly recommend the A2K or the A2000 even if you are a casual player and intend to use it for a few years.

Before choosing this first base mitt, I looked at four others. I should be honest and say that I'm old and fat. I like to cram as much of my hand as I can inside the XL Mechanix brand glove that I use for work. I'm not a fan of the whole "only the fingers" approach. I'm a huge Rawlings fan as well. Although some of my former teammates will dispute that I never played competitively, I still practice with the kids for a few hours each week.HOH PRODCTB by Rawlings This mitt is very stunning! The blacklonde colorway is my favorite. It was my second favorite in terms of fit, and I almost chose it only on the basis of how amazing it looked. could comfortably squeak my pinky and ring into the pinky slot (ie: "finger shift"). I have a completely unfounded suspicion that the Rawlings will hold up better in the long run. I still ponder whether I ought to have managed to save this one as well.Wilson A2000 1617 "SuperSkin" - I was unable to squeeze my hand inside of this glove far enough to feel secure wearing it, much less be able to break it in. Interesting black, grey, and blonde color scheme, but it was returned immediately in the packaging. I only tried one, so I don't know if I got an unusual one or if this mitt is simply cut smaller than others.Wilson A2K 1617: I really wanted to love this glove because I was able to purchase it well below market value. It also fit a little bit snugly, but I thought I could make it work. The thumb strap had a minor stitching flaw that I thought would drive me crazy. On the one I tried, the stitching problem was undoubtedly an anomaly. But this one was third on my list of potential keepers for full price. In light of that, let's talk about the Wilson A2000 2820 SuperSkin. It was as if Aso himself had broken into my home late one night and taken my hand's measurements as I slept. I mean flawless. Compared to other options on the market, the solid black hue is dull, but the fit makes up for it. For the finger shift, ideal. I've been using it for two months and am still getting used to it; I'd say I'm 80% there. Since this is my first Wilson glove or mitt, my Rawlings-obsessed mind is concerned about durability. There is currently no proof of a problem; only a feeling. Only time will tell.

This glove is kept in my Red Sox shrine as a lifelong supporter of the team. Everyone who enters my office just needs to put it on and play catch because it makes a terrific focus point! No, it's not made entirely of leather, and there's no assurance that it will be the ideal glove for your T-ball player, but if you know baseball, you already know that gloves depend on the person wearing them. However, this glove is a fantastic quality and is priced very reasonably. You'll be happy you did if you buy it.

I purchased the pink, purple, and green 9.5-inch left-handed teeball glove that also includes a ball. The glove was precisely as expected when it arrived, and my 5-year-old daughter can use it fairly easily. It's perfect; I was a little concerned it would be too stiff. The absence of the ball, however, was disappointing because that was the one factor that made my daughter choose this one over the others I was considering. I went to the Franklin website and quickly located the customer support contact information. A ball was sent, and it was delivered a few days later! All is well!

My old softball glove was in need of replacement. After extensive research in quest of the ideal glove, I chose the A2000. With this, I could not be happier! I was curious but a little hesitant to buy a glove designed for a woman's hand because my hand is a size S/M. Fortunately, I was able to try it on in a store, and it was a perfect fit for my hand. It is extremely lovely and convenient to customize fit thanks to the adjustable strap. Many reviews I read mentioned how stiff the glove was and how difficult breaking it in would be. It was ready to use after roughly a week of catch games, rolling it up with a softball, and leaving 30 pounds of weight on it every night. One week after receiving the glove, I played a game and had no problems at all. What a lovely glove! Two months after receiving it, I'm writing this review, and I'm blown away by how well it fits and feels. If you want a lighter glove or have a smaller hand, these are ideal for slow pitch softball.

For our team's infield drills, I purchased three of these. Season 4 has just begun, and all 3 have made it. I have to be careful where I place them because they are foam and if left in a position (for example, under something shaped), they will take some time to flatten themselves out again. Other than that, they are excellent for teaching kids to receive a ball with two hands for faster delivery. Check out the leather variants of the trainer if you're not convinced by these affordable ones (even though they are ideal for their intended use).
