It's a good argument. This model is used by the majority of dart players in my area. I used to own a taller, boxier type with a same amount of storage, but it ultimately broke down after about 10 years. I decided to attempt the "new classic."Actually, the foam inserts stack and hold darts quite effectively. This dart container can store four sets of darts if used as intended. I keep 6 in mine, stacked in two pairs in the bottom inserts, one set on top of the other. The darts are absolutely not released from their slots by jarring or bouncing the case! The same was true in my previous example; obviously, don't try to overdo stuffing things in or around them.Tip tubes are more durable than the old square forms, and the bottom and top are covered with plastic or rubber closures rather than the insert caps that frequently break. There are 4 of these, one on each side of the waterway. To make room for additional Fit Flights that cannot be folded, I took two out on one side.All the pouches are on the inside of the top lip. It is a full panel of flight pouches, literally. I believe some bags of various sizes, perhaps for spare shafts or even a zipper pouch for accessories, would slightly enhance the design.The only area intended for additional storage is the central channel. I'm not sure what the box is MEANT to contain, but I keep shafts, a shaft extractor, and a dart tool inside. The remaining space is made up of a quarter pouch, a flight punch, and a chalk baggie.This case will work well for you if you carry a lot of darts and a lot of stuff. It will still function properly if you carry just a little bit too much (like this man). I've never had a problem with Casemaster/dart GLD's or pool cue cases. Search around; you might find something that meets your needs.

I haven't played darts in about 15 years, but I've recently rekindled my passion in it. Since my previous Accudart professionals and other darts were vanished, I opted to replace them. I was looking for a case to hold both steel tips and "pinball" darts because I throw both types of darts, but I didn't want a briefcase-style carrier. This attracted my attention on Amazon and is perfect for the job. Essentially, these are two similar plastic trays bound in book fashion into a thick nylon cover with soft foam inserts to contain the darts. The structure seems to be quite sturdy, the zipper works flawlessly, and the volume far exceeds what is stated. I have no trouble storing four sets of darts, head to toe and stacked, with flights connected. Tips, shafts, o-rings, and other delights can be safely stored in the plastic tubes. One of them is used by me to stack end-to-end Condor shaft/flights. For subsequent flights, there are many compartments available, and the central compartment, which has a full Velcro closure, is ideal for extras. Between the end of a tube and the tray wall, a round sharpener fits perfectly. The one drawback I've seen is that, even when not packed two deep, the foam used to place the darts in the trays doesn't always retain my slim-barreled darts tightly, and there occasionally is a loose dart upon opening the case. Not a big deal at all. I'm thrilled with my purchase and have no hesitation in recommending it.

decent case for the money! The tubes that come with the case ARE reasonably priced, and the caps DO appear to pop off very easily, as other reviewers have noted, but if you're aware of that, just be careful. Either that, tape them down, or, to make the lid cap fit the tube a little bit more snugly, wrap some electrical tape around the bottom piece of the lid cap. It's not a major issue.Regarding the other issue with this case that some reviewers have mentioned, namely the darts slipping out of their foam slits, I bashed my case around a little bit with some darts inside and had no issues. I didn't take the opportunity, though, because I paid attention to the comments made here. The only thing I did was take a strip of soft foam, fold it in half, add some elastics, and place it over the length of the area where the dart barrels are located in the container. That has seemed to keep them in there just fine since it closes the area in the case between the lid and the foam where the darts are held and maintains pressure on the foam where the barrels of the darts sit. For your understanding, the soft foam I'm referring to is the same as the soft insulation foam you get with air conditioners to fill up any gaps or other openings between the window sill and the air conditioner. Actually, I was able to use some leftover from my air conditioner. Works perfectly.The case gets the job done and is worth the $20 you're going to spend, barring those two little flaws, which I can easily fix. Although I don't adore it, I do like it, and for under $20, I even like it more!

I bought this case together with a soft case from the same supplier. The darts cannot be secured in the soft case. The darts fit reasonably nicely in this case because of the stiffer foam infill. Unquestionably superior to the soft case. Wish it had more capacity, but I understood what I was getting, so I can't complain. If you need extra space, a larger case is also available. I'd rate it five stars, but the foam that holds the darts is noticeably crooked. Making sure it's straight is a simple step, but I assume QC doesn't care. I am content with my purchase overall because I will correct the foam myself because I have too much OCD to leave it as is.

Would you like to roll up with three dart sets? An out chart, a 22g steel tip, an 18g soft tip, the brass chunkers you'll let your friend use, every set of fights, shafts, and o-rings you own... Then this does the trick; it houses a single set of darts in a neat, portable case, protects your flights from being damaged, and provides a hole for your feat pins (you showoff). The loose nylon threads that were hanging from the corners of mine when I received it were easily fixed with a quick swipe of a lighter flame.Conclusion: Ideal if you don't want your darts to roll around the car's floorboards yet prefer to travel light.

I appreciate being able to store two dart sets with the flights still attached. I only deducted a rating for the internal divider because I don't use it. It was in the way and did not fit the dart bodies well.

These are two that I buy. A black one for my partner and a pink one for me. I adore my pink one; it's a beautiful color and feels incredibly robust and high-quality. The black one I bought for my partner, however, seems to be of little poorer quality. Despite feeling a little more flimsy and having lower-quality interior material, the case is still fantastic. He still loves it and it still does the job. I adore my pink case and all of the available flight times. This case features eight pockets on the inside, compared to the usual two or three. Additionally, the pockets are deep enough to prevent the flights from popping out, which is another issue I have had with other cases. It's also wonderful that the dart slots are there. They are solidly built and deep enough that I never have to worry about my darts falling out. Although the color quality differences left me a bit disappointed, both cases are excellent and superior to other cases I have used. There is a strong sense that this case will go on.

Although the fourth one has darts already within it, I currently have four of these. The dart barrels don't want to stay in at first since the slots are a little bit tight, as I saw in a few other reviews, but the strap does hold them in place, and after a while they start to stay in a little bit better.It has adequate space for all of your accessories to be stored, but more importantly, it is deep enough to accommodate the full Dart with the flight without risking damage to the flights. Additionally, since I've started using integrated shafts and flights, which have no give, they don't fit well in any of the smaller cases.Who would have thought that when I purchased my first set of darts maybe 15 or 16 years ago, I would eventually have more than 12 sets and be so protective of them.I now have two each of the black and blue zipped bags, but they still don't accommodate all of my sets, so I'm considering purchasing two each of the red zippered bags as a backup.Without a doubt, I'd suggest these.
