The product is well-made and fits well. There were no gaps in any of the 7 slots, and the components fit tightly. I think it looks acceptable that these are placed against the outside of the grill's seven slots rather than inside of them. The double-sided tape was difficult to use for two reasons: (1) it didn't seem to be pressed against the inserts very well; as a result, I advise pressing the tape down against the inserts before removing the protective backing because doing so could cause the tape to come completely off the insert; and (2) the tape is cut every inch or so to make it easier to go around curves, which makes it time-consuming to pull the protective backing off completely. Although it doesn't lower the rating, the review is sincere. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

Installing the product wasn't too difficult. The directions were rather simple to understand. The sticky pads did not always stick, and because of how the engine is made, the last one I inserted on the driver's side will not snap in with pressure. When you press against the side, a part that is blocking the attachment will prevent the component from attaching. To get around this, you must reach from below and exert resistance so that the part will snap into place. When installation, it is advised to start with the two parts that are farthest away on the driver's and passenger's sides and work your way in.

When I purchased my 2013 F150, it had a hole in it that gave the impression that something was missing.Solid metal was used to create this grill. The ribs' fronts are made of chrome, while the remainder of them are coated in black for high corrosion resistance. Compared to the plastic hood grill that comes standard on F150s, its quality is significantly better.I am confident that because of its endurance, it will effectively shield my radiators from harm as roadside debris and boulders fly in the direction of the truck.Instructions: This comes with horrible printed instructions. However, figuring out how to mount it is not difficult.It may be mounted using the two tabs on the bottom, which slid into the bumper's pre-existing slots. Additionally, it includes two top tabs with holes that fit the mounting tabs on the bumper. To place this grill, no holes must be drilled in your bumper.Additionally, mounting hardware is included. I substituted my own washers, bolts, and locknuts because I did not like their hardware. Compared to using their arrangement, I thought this was more secure. I included a picture of the procedure I used. To fit the proper size bolts in this grill, I had to drill larger holes in it. The attachment tab holes on the truck bumper, however, are substantial and did not require drilling.This grill needs to be fastened from the bumper's backside. If you have a fender installed underneath your bumper, getting to this location is difficult. I opened the hood and entered from the top. Another reason I used my own hardware was that it was simpler to use wrenches to fasten it than it was to hold a screwdriver.Due to this product's high quality construction and attractive design, I am extremely delighted. We've only had them in for two days, but thus far, we think they're a terrific value given the cost, ease of installation, and somewhat altered but nonetheless improved appearance of the grill. 2014 Sahara Unlimited fits perfectly, no issues. As others have stated, make sure you know which way is up and which is down when installing the grill because the bottom has a larger "lip" that needs to go over the material at the bottom of the slot. In Syracuse, it was a rare sunny day, so I took off the adhesive strips and spread the pieces out so the glue would dry tacky before clipping them in. Installing the grill does not need you to pop out the body clips, although doing so made it simpler, particularly on the last few. Before applying strong pressure for a few seconds to the sides with adhesive strips to fix them, you should get your fingers behind the grill to check if the clips are fastened. Once inside, they are quite safe and gorgeous yet not over the top. Overall, a cost-efficient improvement.

simple to install Remove the strain Release the tabs keeping the bottom of the Jeep grille in place on the drivers side by gently pulling the top of the grille forward and pushing the pins holding them in place ( I left the other side attached ). Put everything back together by sliding the grille piece behind the Jeep grille. To make sure the insert sits all the way down and the given notch is in the right spot, you may need to move it around a little. It will fit snugly since that is how it is meant to fit and how it will stay in place.The double grill on my 2017 Sahara Smokey Mountain Edition belongs to me (came with the glossy black inserts in the grille). I was worried that the tabs on the back of the grille, which are specific to Sahara models and come with the black or silver inserts, would make it impossible for me to use this item without some changes, but once it was properly inserted behind the Jeep grille, it fit wonderfully. It didn't need to be cut or altered. It fits snugly, which is fantastic because it prevents movement. I had dented cowl panels like many other Jeep JKU owners and was looking for a solution that would hide the dents and offer more protection. Cowl body armor from Hooke Road has surpassed my expectations.1: The merchandise is identical to what is seen in the pictures. It is made of diamond-plate-finished black plastic. Jeeps are already tough; this only makes them appear more so.2: The setup was simple. You may check their fit before installing them by removing them from the box and placing them on the cowls. Remove the tape, attach them to the cowl, push firmly, then stand back and take in their attractive appearance.3: No more tape is necessary. I utilized the pre-installed tape, and once pressed against the cowl, they were completely impervious to the I-15, Interstate speeds of more than 80 mph, and truck gusts. I've repeatedly given them a 3000 psi pressure washer blast, and I haven't experienced any problems with them coming loose.No fading (4). These cowl guards are still as black as they were when they were first opened, despite the sun in Las Vegas being terrible to anything exposed to it. These appear nice. Having read numerous other reviews in which they had either fallen out or had clips break during installation, I was concerned that they might do so.Having said that, I didn't remove my grill. Installing them, I began on the driver's side and moved over the grill. To support the back of the grill as I pressed these inserts in, I inserted my other half through the slots. When it snaps into position, you can hear an audible "click." For the final one, I just inserted the insert while reaching up through the grill's bottom. been using it for two weeks without any issues. No clips broke during installation, either.

VERY attractive Billet Grill! Instead of being light and flimsy as you might anticipate given the low price, it is actually VERY heavy duty. Definitely, the cost is justified. It required little work and little money to change the appearance of my truck. The mounting is a little bit clumsy, but it does the job. Be careful not to tighten too much. The two side grill parts didn't appear to fit as well as I would have thought and I installed mine on top of an excursion grill, which is what was on my 2001 F250, but it still functions and looks fantastic. The centre insert was exactly placed and looks great. It arrived intact because of the excellent packaging. I looked everywhere, and I'm sure that this is the greatest billet insert option you can get for the money. Anybody should try it, in my opinion.
