This is for you if your fourth-generation F-body has a dead power window. My Camaro's power window began to rise incredibly slowly. Then it abruptly stopped. When you put this in, it actually functions better than ever. Old GM engine was never very quick. Also includes bolts for installation.Here's a hint if you've never done this. Discover the individual with the illustrative write-up by searching the web for "electric window motor install." He is right on the money, so heed his counsel and give him a small gratuity. I can only add one thing to his instructions: don't waste your time attempting to get the gears to engage if the motor won't engage on the first try. Gently clock the motor gear with pliers one tiny turn. Repeat until it immediately pops in. Re-button everything, then start the window races.

I got this for my motor home's power retractable step. It functions just as well and resembles the original in practically every way. A replacement motor cost over $100 from the original manufacturer! I compared mine to what the manufacturer's photographs showed and got one after reading online in the motor home forums that the motor is simply a Ford Taurus or Mercury Grand Marquis motor. My power step slides in and out smoothly and softly, and it fits wonderfully. Compared to the original motor, it's actually a little quieter! My only issue is that none of these motors were built in the USA; instead, they were all made in China, so who knows how long they will survive. The first model was twelve years old.

For LOMANCO 2000 or 1800 ADDAVENT power roof ventilators, this model F0510B2944 3-bolt (mushroom) roof vent fan motor is intended to replace motor models A0416B2059, A0510B2389, and F0510B2497. It isn't the more substantial 4-bolt gable vent style. The motor arrived after a little shipping delay and took about a week. It's likely to be popular in July and August. Yuck! (Get it, hot thing.) You will need to reuse it from the old motor or purchase around 18" with a collar and nut for the thermostat side because it does not come with armored flex cable sheathing.The housing of this one did not bear a brand name or any other identifying information; it only had LOMANCO instructions. If this engine was manufactured in China, it was at least packed and likely tested in the US because the shipping box was created by Westrock in Fort Smith, Arizona. I've changed these motors from Lowes-purchased units multiple times and discovered that the quality varies considerably. While some Lowes units had shafts that vibrated as soon as they were opened, this one was perfectly still and quiet.Before you replace the fan in the attic, check sure it is precisely balanced because a bent fan blade can produce wobble or vibration. To test safely, mount the fan in a bench vise. It would definitely be preferable to get a new fan blade as well if you are unable to balance the fan blade but the motor spins silently. Standing on a ladder in a 110 degree attic is difficult while trying to get the entire unit back into the cage. When reinstalling, the fan blades are easily bent, therefore it's a good idea to test it first BEFORE putting the thermostat back together.As Randal Pozzi mentioned above, I attempted to lubricate and maintain the old motor, but the shaft collar reservoirs were falling apart, causing the shaft to continue to wobble. It appears that the reservoir material also secures the shaft. I'll keep it around as a backup as it spins freely and functions.Overall, this is a nice engine; you should get 5 to 6 years out of it, possibly longer if you disassemble and lubricate it every year. I don't see any simple way to lubricate these after installation.

My most recent used vehicle is a 1994 Cavalier Z24. Sporty, small, and black, with a spoiler, a sunroof, and a loud exhaust. It drives well and has a very low mileage for the year (only 65,000, original! ), but because to its age, it does have some problems.One was that the window on the passenger side would not open. The passenger side was dead, but the driver side worked flawlessly. In order to prevent anyone from rolling it down and getting it stuck that way, the previous owner had paid her mechanic to disconnect the motor after hearing that it had failed. I had to have functional windows because it's summer here in the Midwest, with 90 degree days, and the car's A/C isn't yet working. I quickly searched online for the part, found it, and started comparing prices. It turned out that Amazon had the cheapest pricing for a replacement motor that I could discover. I've purchased a lot of items from Amazon in the past, but never auto components. I clicked "Buy," observed as about $20 was withdrawn from my bank account, and then rationalized that everything must be experienced once. I then calmly waited by the door.My replacement motor came a few days later. Simply packaged in a plain brown box without any replacement instructions, so make sure you're mechanically inclined and pay attention to how the old motor attaches. The new motor did come with some new screws required for re-attaching the unit, but I had to drill out the pop rivets holding the previous motor and window lift in place to use them. (I did had to reattach a few of the other components I had to remove in order to remove the motor assembly using a pop rivet tool and some rivets.)The replacement motor is a flawless fit and performs as well as the driver's side currently does. Quickly, softly, and smoothly, the window lifts and lowers.Recommended!

This is what I put in my 2006 350z. A rubber plunger that may need to be slightly adjusted to remove any additional slack from the switch wires is present when threading the window motor switches through the door. If you don't do this, the motor switch wires will snag on the window mechanism and make noise as the window moves up and down. You should be fine if you just tighten the loose cables and then adjust the rubber stopper. It has only been a week since the installation, and so far it has performed flawlessly. If something breaks shortly, the review will need to be updated. Highly advised if you don't want to pay OEM prices...

As easy as can be expected for a job like this, I arrived on time and entered.Excellent performance a month after installation.It was most difficult to remove the old regulator (window was stuck up). It was a poor overload.Hint: electricity enters the motor through a small hole under the detachable cup behind the motor that avoids the overload.Nobody will inform you about this. I had to determine that on my own (after taking the old motor apart).To jog the motor up or down, insert a probe there and reverse polarity as necessary (if the motor moves now, it indicates a lazy overload).Before attempting to remove the regulator, I should have known that, since it would have made the job much simpler (in the up position).Knuckles that were scraped are now nearly healed.By now, the scraped knuckles have almost fully recovered.If the new motor's instructions had mentioned the possibility of disabling the overload, this review may have been five stars.

fantastic stuff Definitely on par with OEM caliber. It's incredibly difficult to take the coil off of the damaged motor and put it on the new one, so make sure you watch a youtube video on installation beforehand. P.S. I have a 2001 2500HD Silverado and this is only for the driver side! I believed it to be flexible for both sides, however it is not. The converse is true for the passenger side. The driver side will eventually fail, so I might as well replace it and order a new one for the passenger side, therefore I'm not returning it. If you don't lubricate the runners and the pulley cable, you'll need to replace it again in 50 000 miles.

When I purchased my automobile, it had two operable windows (one lacked a switch), and although I could hear the motor, the window made no movement. Another window then closed (doing the same thing).All 4 windows are functional thanks to this equipment and a car repair manual (a 1991 Lincoln in my instance).By the way, if your motors function, check the motor inside your door; if your wires AT LEAST try to move, you don't need this. Doman 74410 You require Window Regulator Gear Plugs for Selected Ford/Mazda Models (only the 3 plugs). My gears were in good shape, so I have backup parts in case they break.

Easy to install in my 2001 Yukon and nearly identical to the original. Ignore any reviews that stated that purchasing the entire replacement unit with motor would have been preferable. Even though I'm no expert, I finished the entire task in 2 hours, including cleanup. Be sure to lubricate the cables and tacks. Great results. highly suggestable
If you have a manual window, it's easy to tell if you need a new window motor or regulator. If your window is stuck in the up or down position, you need a new window motor. If your window is off track or not moving smoothly, you need a new window regulator.
