I used these to make my lab's dog doorbell. When she has to leave the house or enter it again, we taught her to ring a bell. Both my toddler and my dog have beaten them, but they are still standing.Plenty of load is sufficient for our needs. Although it won't win any design awards, our focus was on functionality, not aesthetics.If your aim was to install attractive outside bells, the one outside has already begun to tarnish a little, so this might not be the best long-term choice. But as I stated, we required inexpensive, functioning bells. They were flawless.

I assumed that since we live in the country, this bell would be the ideal replacement for our broken front doorbell. Then IT WAS! No matter where you are in the house, you can hear the bell ring. It has a lovely clear ring and is a lovely accent to the porch. It came a week earlier than I had anticipated, which was a really welcome surprise. Interestingly, however, it did not come with brass screws, so we had to buy them. Overall, a fantastic experience and a fantastic product.

This year, my wife was experiencing a bah humbug Christmas, so we didn't do much holiday decorating. I had just finished watching The Polar Express and had previously tried to find a bell without success. After the movie, I went looking and discovered this bell, so I chose to order it. We had a buddy over for dinner and a gift exchange on Christmas Eve. We retired to the living room after supper to distribute gifts. To let everyone know that it was time to distribute the first Christmas gift, I interrupted everyone. "Who do you think deserves the first gift of Christmas?" I said as I held out the immaculately packaged package and looked around the room. Why not this girl over here?" Oh my God, is this what I think it is? she exclaimed in awe. After opening it, she removed the velvet bag and the sizable bell. I've always wanted this bell, she sobbed. After ringing it, she commented, "It even sounds like the same bell"! She sobbed uncontrollably while repeatedly kissing me.She told me it was the finest gift ever the day after Christmas.Do I suggest this? We ordered 5 more the following day to give as gifts to friends and family the following year. That ought to be sufficient.

The bell is tiny but vibrant. It stays on my nightstand so that in the event of a medical emergency, my husband, who has trouble hearing, and who regularly watches TV in the family room, can be informed. The TV is loud, my voice is soft, and my health is currently compromised (according to him).Positives: Because the bell is loud enough for him to hear, I feel more secure, "just in case."The bell is little, so it doesn't take up much space on the nightstand. Yay!There is only one drawback. The bell is suspended by a spring that needs to be vigorously moved; it does not hang easily. Most people won't mind, but it takes a little "strength" to make the bell ring against the ringer's sides. Keep in mind that I'm elderly, feeble, and fragile right now. I think 99% of people wouldn't have a problem with this.In the event that screaming at the top of your lungs isn't your "forté," I DO suggest having a bell nearby.By blowing a loud whistle, my mother would tell all five of us to come inside for supper. We would then be told to stop playing outside right away and run inside. Yes, you could hear it from the top of the block all the way down. Dinner was a huge thing because it was prepared with love and gratitude for the food itself, along with words of thanks to our mother for all she had done for us.

I bought them to add a bell to my dog's collar when she was approximately 20 pounds; two months later, she is now 30 pounds, and I am on my second bell (Only because the first one got lost after the ring holding the bell got bent). In my situation, the copper patina—or whatever you want to call it—hasn't lasted very long due to regular indoor and outdoor use in all types of weather as well as being hit and chewed. If you want to know where your small- to medium-sized dog is, this is unquestionably the way to go. I couldn't tell you how these work as decorations, though.

My parents' Corgi, who is trained to ring a bell anytime she needs to go outside, received this dog bell as a Christmas gift. It arrived exactly as promised. The bells ring loud and clear, and it has a nice feel to it. We can hear the dog wanting to go outside from a mile away, but that's not necessarily a significant turn off. That could be the only issue, though—the bells are too loud. Sincerely, I believe it is preferable to have loud bells than a potty bell with a big weight at the end that bangs against the glass door each time it is rung. Any day, I'll take the fire alarm bells. The corgi will never have to wait to use the restroom, at least.

To educate my dog to ring this bell when he has to go outside, I bought it to put next to the door. I have to confess that I adore this. It rings easily for my dog, and it is loud enough for me to hear it across the entire house. Additionally, it has a decent appearance. It kind of blends in with my decor because it isn't loud and is just by the door underneath my keys.Although attaching it was simple for me, I truly wished mounting hardware had been included. I fastened it with three drywall screws. If the bell had included brass screws to match the rest of the bell, that would have been excellent. I frequently forget to purchase these at Home Depot. Really, my only complaint is this.The bell tolls loudly and plainly. The way the rope is weaved gives the impression that it is somewhat elastic. However, because my puppy hasn't damaged it, I can state with certainty that it is durable.Would have received five stars but for the absence of mounting hardware.

For the price, the dresses were unexpectedly high quality. Since we are in the US, we expected shipment to take around a month. The fit sort of drapes on you, making the material—which is soft, light, and stretchy—flattering. No slip is necessary because it is not at all sheer.The women's outfits fit as expected in terms of sizing (we ordered 4 total). Definitely, the dresses for the girls were a bit undersized. My daughter, who is 4.5 years old, could have easily worn the size 7/8.Overall, we are ecstatic about the purchase. They'll be worn by all of us to our yearly holiday cookie party!

I took off a star for it not being really loud, where most people may need it to be, like to call your kids back home in the neighborhood, but like I said, it turned out a perfect volume for me in my situation. I now have a gate bell that a person can ring like a doorbell before coming into my yard.
