Cat Water Fountain Pet Fountain Stainless Steel, Cat Water Dispenser with 3 Replacement Filters and Cleaning Brushes, 2.4L Ultra Quiet Water Level Window with LED Light 3 Ways to Drink Review:

Despite having cats for 35 years, I had never purchased a fountain. I read a ton of reviews on a ton of various products, and like many others I know, I frequently start with the negative ones. All the available fountains appeared to have reports of extremely early pump motor death. I came to the decision that I would have to give one a shot at some point.Ultimately, I chose this one because it featured a water level viewing window and an interior light, and the capacity seemed about appropriate (not little enough to need to fill continuously, but also not huge enough for the water to grow too contaminated). I've just had mine for a week so far, but things are going well. I was worried that my two cats could spill water on the (tile) floor, but thus far there hasn't been a problem.I purchased a fountain primarily in the hopes of increasing my cat's water consumption. Although I'd read that some cats won't approach fountains, both of my cats were drawn to it right away. Their litter box seems to support the idea that they are drinking more regularly. Even while I don't like having to clean their litter boxes more frequently, I'm more than willing to do it if they are drinking more water for their own health. When I say this device is perfectly silent, I mean that there is absolutely NO sound at all. There is no water noise, no pump noise, nothing. I would assume it wasn't operating at all if I couldn't see the water flowing clearly. Both the water level viewing window and the blue interior light are highly desired features. The light on this unit is plenty bright compared to the 15 watt lamp I used to leave on all the time in their bathroom.I'm happy with the unit thus far. It was simple to put together, and cleaning it should be no problem. Since the cats enjoy sitting at the fountain and giving themselves a wash, I would be a little hesitant to install it anywhere else than concrete or tile. But only a small amount of water actually makes it to my bathroom's tile floor. I'm just relieved that they haven't started spilling water out of it yet.As I previously indicated, the pump motor failing rapidly is my major concern with any fountains like this one. As time goes on, I'll update this evaluation. We all endorse this unit because, so far, both my kitties and I am really delighted with it.Aktuelles 10.25.19 Fountain continues to function well. It appears that my worries about a premature pump failure were unjustified at this point. Every third to fourth fill up, as directed, I cleaned the motor, which is really easy and quick to perform. Even now, it appears like the cats are drinking a lot more water from it than they ever did from their bowls. It has been a fantastic product thus far, one that is simple to maintain and has proven to be trustworthy.

Premium Charcoal Filters for PetSafe Drinkwell 360 Fountains, Pack of 10 Review:

I'm not sure why others have had problems with these; it looks like they function just as well as OEM if you simply rinse them before using them (like the OEM one that came with the drinkwell). I've had no problems utilizing these; the filtered water is clear. They are also just as durable as the original OEM ones. Overall, these were excellent to get me started with my drinkwell, in my opinion. These are made of plastic, though. A stainless steel container that I could clean and restock with activated charcoal is what I'd prefer. Perhaps I'll create my own, but until I have the opportunity to do so, these will do just fine!

Veken Pet Fountain, 84oz/2.5L Automatic Cat Water Fountain Dog Water Dispenser with 3 Replacement Filters & 1 Silicone Mat for Cats, Dogs, Multiple Pets Review:

My cat enjoys drinking from the toilet. She never used the $60 stainless steel teardrop fountain that I purchased her, and it's also quite loud. She started meowing next to the sink after I tried to get her to drink from the toilet by closing it. So I asked my sister, a veterinarian, for advice. She suggested installing a flower fountain because cats want to drink from them. I looked over 100 various flower fountains before deciding on this one because of the color and flower stem length. The "Veken" text's unattractive typeface was the only thing keeping me from purchasing it.A silicon mat and two replacement filters were included in the well-packaged delivery. This device is incredible. When the blossom cap is on, it is DEAD silent, but when it is off, there is a pleasant waterfall sound. To my great surprise, the Times New Roman typeface was really on a sticker that I could remove with ease. Even with the toilet bowl open, my cat repeatedly picks this to drink from. It has saved lives. I can't think of anything negative to say about this, really. This is amazing. It has a two year guarantee that can be extended to three if you message them, affordable filters, and full silence. Additionally, at a FRACTION of other expensive fountains! There is no better deal available.

Pet Fountain Cat Water Dispenser - Healthy and Hygienic Drinking Fountain Super Quiet Flower Automatic Electric Water Bowl with 2 Replacement Filters for Dogs, Cats, Birds and Small Animals Blue Review:

This fountain is amazing! In the past, we've had two made of plastic. One had a leak, while the other seemed hard to keep clean. I gave up eventually and. However, I observed my cats weren't urinating very much, down to just a bowl of water. I chose this one after doing some research on Amazon. It has the appearance of a decorative fountain you might buy for interior design. It is highly durable, functions flawlessly, and is quite simple to clean. The fact that one cat adores it and frequently uses it is its best feature. For them, there was no acclimatization period; they just started drinking from it. I wouldn't think twice about recommending it or making another buy.

Flexzion Pet Water Dispenser Station - Replenish Pet Waterer for Dog Cat Animal Automatic Gravity Water Drinking Fountain Bottle Bowl Dish Stand Review:

Please stick with me even though this may be a bit of a rough journey.I had to learn the hard way that it's crucial to use the utmost caution when choosing a gravity waterer for your cat. Years ago, thinking myself clever for finding a cheap fix, I had bought a cheap waterer and feeder from the shop. We won't dwell too much on the fact that the feeder was the least of two evils and that it didn't top load. The waterer, however, caused me years of shameful agony. It lacked any kind of control to prevent the water from gushing out in any direction it could. While trying to turn the device on its side, I made a series of incredibly unlucky ninja-like motions that left most of it back in the sink or on the floor. Mess. Each time. I'm not Naruto, people, and given that I've never become any better at managing that piece of garbage, I doubt the leaf village will be calling me to battle any time soon. My expertise with this farce of God resulted in me falling twice and giving my door an undeserved soaking.Enter this incredible creation called Flexion, designed to significantly reduce my suicidal thoughts when all I want to do is give water to my cat, a snot-nosed razor machine that I couldn't live without. Your water won't spill thanks to this item. If you wanted to (luckily, I don't have a picky drinker), you could even add ice. And I can assure you that if you have experienced the same problems I have, this will be of great assistance to you.I'm going to attack its precursor with an ice pick.

PetSafe Drinkwell Multi-Tier Dog and Cat Water Fountain, Automatic Drinking Fountain for Pets, 100 oz. Water Capacity Review:

I can't stress how highly I suggest this item! I used to own a Drinkwell Platinum pet fountain. While it worked fine, it was very challenging to clean and had numerous plastic crevices that served as a haven for disgusting, gooey bacteria colonies. The previous Platinum fountain had to be cleaned even more frequently than was advised, and it took two hours to scrub out all of the nasty crevices. However, this fountain is incredibly simple to divide into two dishwasher-safe, highly open (and crevice-free) plastic compartments. This makes cleaning absurdly simple. It is also superior to the Platinum version since replenishing it is much easier. You simply pour water into the fountain without having to remove the water reservoir, which would otherwise cause water to splatter everywhere. Additionally, compared to the Platinum version, it is quite inexpensive. This item is far superior to PetSafe Drinkwell's Platinum version, which is more expensive, more difficult to clean, and less hygienic. I regret not purchasing this fountain sooner!

PetSafe Drinkwell Platinum or 1 Gallon Cat and Dog Water Fountain - Pet Drinking Fountain - Best for Cats and Small to Medium Dogs Review:

This fountain was purchased by us in November 2011. Nearly two years later, we are still having no issues, unlike other reviews. Cleaning both the fountain and the pump, in my opinion, is essential to this project's success. We deconstruct the entire fountain once a week. Warm water and a light liquid dish soap are used to clean every component. Here, the complete disassembly is crucial. Please take note that I've displayed the fountain disassembled in the images section. You'll see that the front of the pump was missing one component. We can now clear the dirt that accumulates inside the fountain thanks to this. This is really simple. Of course, before cleaning, the pump needs to be unplugged. Once the front has been removed, put the pump in a cup of warm water with a teaspoon of liquid dishwashing soap. We connect the pump while submerged. In order to clean the internal spinning mechanism, this circulates water and detergent. View the floating debris in the water in a different picture. That is the muck that accumulates. Therefore, if your pump is failing, this might be the cause. If your pump's spinning mechanism won't spin because of its poor condition, just soak it in water and detergent for a few hours, then give it a good flush with fresh water before trying again.Important: Do not force the front cover to close completely when you replace it on the pump. You MUST align the flow control valve. Turn your flow control a little and give it another shot. Once it starts to snap EASILY back together, keep making little turns and trying again. This weekly cleaning takes us very little time to do on a regular basis and is well worth the effort. Our fountain hasn't needed any maintenance than this cleaning. Depending on requirement, we replace the filter once or twice a month. After cleaning, we both fill the reservoir and the base with water. There is plenty of water left to last long past that week. Two cats often use this fountain, so you could add more water if you had more dogs or cats.I really hope you enjoy your pet fountain after reading this review!

Dogit Fresh & Clear Drinking Fountain, Elevated Dog Water Dispenser, Replacement filters Review:

I've bought a second Dogit fresh and clear fountain. I went in search of a replacement after the pump in the first one quit functioning. There was more than just a fountain when I discovered said replacement. That's why I acquired a second one. Sounds absurd, yes? They have another shot, and I hope they don't let me down.My cat and dogs adore it. Depending on how many pets are drinking from it and how messy they are, the large amount of water it carries remains clean and fresh for about a week.Cleaning is simple, but you must be cautious with your cleaning supplies. Avoid using anything that can scrape the plastic since it will trap bacteria and make cleaning more difficult. I employ a microfiber-covered sponge. Regular sponges readily tear on the jagged edges. Cut a sponge into thirds and use them just to clean the little spaces where the larger sponge won't fit in order to clean the center where it is difficult to reach. Using hemostats to hold the tiny sponge is quite helpful.UPDATE **I've had a couple ideas that could help your pump last longer** UPDATERegularly replace or clean your filter. The pump may sustain harm if the pump input becomes obstructed.Take the pump apart to clean it by carefully removing the grill, the impeller cap, and the impeller itself. To clean the hole where the impeller emerges, use a cotton swab. Reassemble the pump after cleaning each component. I clean the nooks and crannies with an old toothbrush.Keep the bowl from getting empty. This will cause the pump to overheat. When topping it off with water, unplug the pump and remove the funnel top to reveal the filter. If necessary, clean or replace the filter. Instead of filling the aperture above the pump, fill the sidewalls over the filter with water. Reconnect the plug after replacing the top.And just in case I do forget. Avoid value packs and bundles; you can get them cheaper if you buy them separately.
