One of these brushes is for my horse, while the other is for my cats. It functions great on both. However, the ergonomic design was the main reason I bought it because I have a bad grip. The handle has a great curve and is thick enough to be comfortable in the hand. The horse hair comes out of the brush with ease; all I have to do is knock the brush against the side of the barn or a post to release the hair. Although I'm not convinced it it removes as much cat hair from the cats as a regular cat brush would, the upside is that they adore having their hair brushed with it!

The bristles are not as strong as a wire brush, so if you brushed past your hand, you wouldn't leave scratches, but they are stiff enough to remove dirt from the goats' hooves. I use this for my two dogs' baths; the brush bends to cover my German Shepherd's short fur and my husky's long double coat fur with ease. Both of my dogs thoroughly appreciated it and I'll buy it again as soon as they wear out or one of them gets their jaws on it, hahaha. This is amazing stuff! I have an Icelandic horse with a mane that is roughly three times as thick as any of my other horses and an extremely thick and long tail. He enjoys playing in the mud as well. In Wisconsin, where I reside, the mud season starts in February and ends...well, we always HOPE it would end before the snow falls the following year. Did I mention that our soil has a lot of red clay, which dries into tiny bricks? Another issue is that my Icey's mane and tail are white.Despite all that, I can thoroughly comb through his mane and tail with the help of this product, and I still have time and energy to actually RIDE him. Please note that I am not an expert on horse brushes and that was not the reason I bought this. I hope it will be useful moving forward with that in mind. Although the bristles aren't exactly as stiff as I'd like, they do do an excellent job cleaning my bulldog. I really liked how the strap fit over my hand. My hands are large. So there is enough of room if this matters at all due of hand size. I also liked the way the wood and strap were made. well constructed for the price. It was effective on my beard as well, LOL.

I waited a little while to share because I wanted to use things effectively. My cats adore the gloves because they are a terrific tool to have, readily pick up hair, are easy to clean, and aren't too harsh. My cats play fight a lot more when I use these instead of a brush, so it's a win-win situation as my hands are still reasonably covered and they get to enjoy the grooming process. There is no indication of material separation after two washes in cold water and laying flat to dry.The only catch is that these gloves really aren't a one size fits all kind of thing because I have extremely small hands. Due to the traction on the exterior of the glove, they do have a tendency to move about a little bit on my hand. Perhaps it would be a good idea to insert non-slip grip material within the glove's finger pads.Besides that, I adored these. They are functional, effective, and far less expensive than some of the exact identical copies that are now available. Bonus points if you were able to remove the hair from my hairy couches, which you can see in my review video. Thank you, haha!

It's a cute little pairing.Even with a soft bristle brush, my terrier mix's curly and wiry hair has never been his favorite to groom.With this new brush, he does appear to be able to endure grooming sessions a little bit longer. I highly recommend this brush if you believe your dog has sensitive skin or if they dislike combs because the coated tips make a significant difference in their comfort.

My barn's colors are purple and silver. Amenable to purchasing a whole set of purple grooming equipment. I'm not sure how the lovely tote will hold up, but the brushes and grooming supplies seem fine. I might put it to use in another way. I just got it, and I can already see little pinprick holes in the thin bottom. Given that the user will need to place it down on concrete or the ground, I would have assumed that the bottom would be more tough or mesh to let dirt through. The interior of the black exterior will probably accumulate white horse hair, too, I think. I already had a mesh Kensington grooming tote that has held up for years, so I seriously doubt this one will too.
