I was astounded that this ball survived being destroyed by my 40-pound Border Collie; in fact, she barely left a mark on it. The normal chuck-it tennis ball launcher can accommodate it flawlessly. Every evening when I leave work in the dark, I take my dog outside to play catch with this ball. I charge the glow-in-the-dark toy with my phone's flashlight (the charge seems to last for half an hour to an hour and a half, then is still quite visible but less strong, as with all glow in the dark toys n such, just put a flashlight on it for 10 seconds and keep playing. easily visible when dark and when thrown in grass, my dog seems to be able to very easily watch/get the ball when its dark) and throw it as far as or slightly farther than The ball is very rubbery, so the holes stretch a little. Squeakers are my Siberian Husky's absolute favorite. Obsessed. She is NOT polite when she squeaks a noisy toy till there is no more squeal left. Toys rapidly meet their demise as she digs her teeth in as deep as they will go. This used to take no more than five minutes. But the squeak is still audible. Even she eventually became tired of squeaking it, though not before everyone else did. Four days passed during which she squeaked nonstop. Still making noise. She was squeaking this thing so loudly I thought I was going to pass out. After progressively realizing that no matter how many times she squeaked it, it wouldn't stop, the squeaking eventually stopped.The annoying thing STILL SQUEAKS a month later. This is like a canine version of an Everlasting Gobstopper. She has quieted down a little, but only after I had to give her a new ball that didn't squeak because my sanity was spiraling out of control. It turns out that she is equally content with a rubber bouncing ball that she can chomp on and throw against the walls and floor.The trouble is, if your dog likes to CHEW on balls, like get their back teeth on them or rip the little spines off with their front teeth, that's absolutely possible with this ball and you might wind up with a bald ball and a dog that's pooping little pieces of rubber. Fortunately, though, I haven't really experienced that issue with this ball. It is undamaged and squeaks admirably.One thing I will note, though, is that these balls are no different from new TPR rubber in that it initially feels quite sticky. At first, they feel quite sticky, and the spines resemble a hairbrush. Like nobody's business, they gather up dirt and hair. Okay, I admit it—I have no idea how business is going for Nobody. However, if it's anything like how sticky new TPR rubber is, business is booming for Nobody. The ball is mocking your cleaning effort since after a while the stickiness will be covered up with I don't even want to know what and they won't pick up as much trash off the floor after you just cleaned it. I'm only speculating.

Because our 3-year-old Pembroke Corgi never wants to stop playing, which is both extremely hilarious and torturous, I've given him the moniker "Terminator of Playtime." "Listen. Understand. Breathe or wake up, Squishy. If you choose to ignore him, he will finally place Squishy on your shoulder, just in case you were genuinely stupid or blind and failed to notice him nudge it repeatedly in your direction or wait anxiously. That's just how kind he is.Every time he digs through his toy box at night, my partner and I absolutely pause, silently hoping he doesn't pull out the Round Ball of Doom, but he usually does since he's a sadist. This isn't the chew toy for anything other than a very little dog if you're searching for a long-lasting one. However, this can be a fantastic option if you're searching for a fun toy that you can use to engage with your dog. We have been playing with two of the gigantic Hol-ee Rollers for more than a year, and I have a 150 pound Saint Bernard. We still play with them frequently each day, and they are still in excellent condition. Since sometimes we "lost" one in the yard for a few days before it reappears, I actually intend to order 1 or 2 more. When he plays, my Saint is a wild man who can be rather mouthy. As a result, I came up with the idea for him to carry a toy when we play in the yard after four ruined shirts and more scratches and bite scars from his teeth than I can remember. This is ideal! This is undoubtedly his favorite ball out of all the varieties we have. It is simple to pick up when rushing past and carry about, therefore I assume it must be more pleasant to carry. He typically carries one as I accompany him and throw or kick another. He pursues the object I kicked or hurled and waits for me to catch up before kicking it once more. On occasion, he chooses to swap, putting down the one he has and taking the other. How long we have spent playing with these two toys I have no idea! Additionally, you don't have to worry if your dog unintentionally comes into its path and it hits him in the head because this toy doesn't harm your foot when you kick it, even if you don't have shoes on. Additionally, you may kick it over obstacles like shrubs, trees, etc. by kicking it up in the air or across the grass. It travels quite a distance without any effort. A lot of fun! In order to make it more fascinating, you may also place goodies and toys inside of it, but we have never done this because he likes it just the way it is.

I bought this in the hopes that it will serve as a pleasant diversion for my dog, who constantly chews his paws. Despite how awesome this toy may sound, it has a really bad design and does not function.1. The sizes of the snacks that must be included are simply inadequate. Because the hole in the toy is oval, food would seldom come out unless they were positioned precisely. We utilized some of his dog food, which matched the treat size on the included picture.2. The portion of the ball with the hole is on the bottom for the purpose of dispensing treats because the ball only rolls along the edge where the two halves come together when it is rolled. It appears as though the ball is weighted and doesn't roll properly to distribute the treats.We removed all the plastic inserts and attempted smaller foods (dry macaroni) to test it, but it still won't dispense anything. My dog rapidly lost interest in it. Although he doesn't care about it otherwise, he does spend some time guarding it because it contains rewards. I wish I had purchased one from a retailer so I could have seen how it would roll and the size of the hole. Spend less and give something else a try.NEWSFLASH - My dog finally learned how to use this treat ball a day after I left the aforementioned review (with one star).
