HiCamer Automatic Cow Drinking Water Bowl Dispenser 304 Stainless Steel Farm Livestock Animals Waterer for Pigs Horse Cattle Goat Sheep Dog with 2 Float Ball Valves Review:

This waterers will not work forever, so a second float valve is great, especially since the stainless steel bowl may never need to be replaced. I have had one of these watering my 15 hens until the float valve finally gave out, and fortunately I noticed that it wasn't providing water! You can screw to a wood fence or wall, but I just dug out some earth, and it never moved.

There is a Bergen waterer that I like better for only around $12! USA made, too! Don't know the longevity because I just purchased it.

These units will water just about any small or medium animal. I always like to have a second water source for my animals, just in case one fails when I'm not there! You can put a Y on your hose line, and run two units.

If you want to connect to a garden hose you will have to purchase a separate fitting. Amazon has several that work without leaking; I also used teflon tape.

Homend Automatic Waterer Bowl Farm Grade Stainless Stock Waterer Horse Cattle Goat Sheep Dog Water (Without Drainage Hole) Review:

Easy to install. Quality items . Edges are sharp so be careful. I’m using an RV inline water filter to a brass 3/4” female to 1/2” male fitting. Next . Purchase at a hardware store a braided water supply line 1/2” to 1/2” female ends. You may need to hacksaw a tip of the white float valve in order for the braided line to thread on. Hung easy to my hardy board siding . Turn it on !!

MUDUOBAN 2 Pack Float Valve for Stainless Steel Automatic Waterer Bowl Horse Cattle Goat Sheep Pig Dog Water Trough Farm Supplies Livestocktool Review:

Have an automatic dog water dish that used a rubber disk that the float would press on to cover the fill orifice. The rubber eventually degraded and stopped fully sealing over the hole. The water dish would constantly over-fill and flow over the side. Was not able to locate a replacement rubber seal. This valve fit into the dish. Was a whole lot cheaper than replacing the whole dish and came as a two pack. Very happy with purchase. Have other float valves on the property. Glad to know I've got a reliable, low cost replacement.

Farm Innovators Heated Bucket Review:

I've had these for nearly 3 years and they still work. So, if they quit on me when I plug them up again in a couple of months, I won't complain.

It is worth noting that I had a lightening strike near my kennels during a freak thunderstorm in February. That evening when I went to feed one bucket was blown to smithereens. I suppose the lightening must have run into it from the junction box. To this day, the dog in that kennel very carefully goes up to his water bucket, sniffs it, puts his head in and takes a quick sip. When he's satisfied it won't explode on him, he will then go in for a longer drink. And, this my friends, is how some habits are born.

Homend Upgraded Automatic Waterer Bowl Farm Grade Stainless Stock Waterer Horse Cattle Goat Sheep Dog Water (with Drainage Hole) Review:

Over the years we tried numerous water dishes for our dogs. This is the best one! The drainage hole is a must since it allows us to easily drain out the dirty water that has collected dirt and grass that our dogs leave behind. The auto refill ensures that our dogs will not run out of water on hot days.

We did have to buy a hose adaptor to complete the connection to our outdoor watering hose. We also needed to use a good amount of plumbing tape to make sure that the connection to the hose adaptor doesn't leak.

This is the hose adaptor https://www.amazon.com/Gilmour-Double-Female-Connector-805574-1001/dp/B000FJZYR0/ref=pd_sim_199_1/131-6094966-3174257?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B000FJZYR0&pd_rd_r=6d753668-a040-11e9-b6ac-d580eb0b5aaa&pd_rd_w=aGuvG&pd_rd_wg=6DlaU&pf_rd_p=90485860-83e9-4fd9-b838-b28a9b7fda30&pf_rd_r=WPEW0CZFR0FSREBZ8Y50&psc=1&refRID=WPEW0CZFR0FSREBZ8Y50

MACGOAL Stainless Steel Automatic Waterer Bowl with Float Valve Water Trough for Livestock Dog Goat Pig Waterer Review:

I have been purchasing these same type of Water Troughs for around 40 years. These are the lowest quality ones I've every purchased. Two were even missing bolts to hold the float guard. I still need them to replace older ones, but I know they will only last three to four years or so. My better quality ones used to last 10 to 15 years. The ones I purchases six years ago, lasted six plus years. Each time the steel is thinner and the quality cheaper.

Still would purchase them, not many other choices out there that fit my barn.

H2O Animal Hydration Tough Guy Automatic Waterer with Drain for pets, 1.5 gallons Review:

I'm very happy with this purchase. I should have bought this 3 years ago. I mounted on the side of the house into the brick. I had to purchase masonry lag bolts and a drill bit - $6. I also bought a y-connector and a 4 ft. supply hose - $10. The installation was not difficult. I just took my time and was careful not to over-tighten plastic nuts and fittings. I have no leaks and the product works. My 3 dogs took right to it.
As someone else mentioned you have to spin the supply hose to thread it in. This is a little awkward but doable, and you will only need to do it once so I did not see this as a flaw. You do this last after you have mounted the tub and tightened in the float assembly and the outer nut. Lastly connect to the faucet and turn on. The float is adjustable so that you can maintain the water level you prefer. I adjusted so it fills about 2/3.
I first installed the float upside down so it did not fill. It was an obvious error. I loosened the outer nut and rotated the float to the correct position. Look at the picture and directions and you won't have that issue.
I looked at some other products at 3 and 4 times the price. I went with this one and it's doing great. I would highly recommend this product.
