The adaptor performs as promised (except for the LED light that never lit up).My lenses have excellent AF-C focus.Used the EF 40mm, EF 75-300mm, and EF 50mm 1.8mm lenses from Canon. All have good focus, and the latest will also include eye autofocus. The best part is that the 75-300 benefits from the body's IBIS as well, making handled slow-motion photography much easier than it is with my Canon body. Attempt it in dim light. Older lenses tend to hunt a little while focusing, but the 50mm 1.8 was incredibly quick and precise.The adaptor's sole drawback, in my opinion, is that a dock, which must be purchased separately, is required to upgrade Firmware. Knowing that beforehand would have been beneficial.The remaining free items in the package appear to be in decent condition and were all delivered in excellent packaging.I still have a few EF-S lenses to test, but the Full Frame lenses were the main reason I wanted it, and they perform better than expected.Update* Due to a design issue, I take away one star. The adaptor provides a connector for firmware updates. The right side of the adaptor has a plastic cover over this port. Both are situated in an already constrained space, right adjacent to the camera grip. Your fingers will frequently rub against the plastic covering the port when it is in use.

Wow, so far, so wonderful. Other than being unable to utilize EF-S lenses, everything is excellent! When I put the Canon 17-40 f4 wide zoom lens on the M50, I did notice a broader field of vision and increased brightness. One test shot had f4 @ 1/80 At ISO 4000 without the adaptor. The room was fairly dark. The M50 camera's exposure settings with the adaptor were f4 At 1/80 @ ISO 1600. Just doing that reduced the noise. When taking arbitrary test photos with the same lens, the camera detects the 17-40 f/4 as a 19-45 f2.8, despite the fact that theoretically it should give you a 1 stop increase on your lens. This investment is worthwhile... Canon, you'd better start producing this type of adaptor!

The finest assessment tool for my Fuji XT2 must be this! All of my Canon lenses, including the 100mm 2.8 macro, are now usable.Although you may lose auto focus with this adaptor, I never use it for macro work.The lens will always be set to its widest aperture when using this converter with Canon lenses, however there's a trick! Attach the lens to the Canon camera, activate the aperture priority setting, and choose the required F stop. (I decided to use this lens' sweet spot at F 5.6.) To remove the lens, press the release button as you press the DOF button, making sure the camera is on a tripod or a stable surface. The lens that remains open to the F stop has now been chosen. Enjoy! Connect it to the Fuji camera and adapter.

APPEARANCE/BUILD: The Adapter is nicely built, solid-looking, and doesn't feel cheap. However, you SHOULD be aware that there isn't even an electrical point—simply it's a mechanical coupler connecting the two mounts. Which means that after mounting, there is NOTHING about the K mount lens that you can adjust through the camera. The lens release tab, which is positioned on the adapter and is essentially the ONLY other operating feature you can see, is securely fastened. Read more about the lens release below.USE WITH AN E MOUNT: Because there are no electrical contacts, using an E mount adapter disables all automated features of the Pentax lens. In fact, the lack of connections on the adapter prevents electronic data from being transmitted to the camera, which prevents the camera from even realizing that a lens is mounted. This indicates that the camera's shutter won't activate using the preset settings. Because of this, in order to use your K mount lens, you must set the Camera Menu's "Release w/o Lens" option, which will enable the camera's shutter to open. Next, the camera will be set to Manual metering. As previously indicated, if your lens lacks an aperture control ring, you lose the ability to regulate the lens's aperture using the camera because the adapter has no electrical points (someone correct me if I am wrong). My 18-55mm Pentax starter lens has an aperture control ring, so it cannot be adjusted for aperture. However, the aperture of my 28mm F/2.8 SMC prime may be mechanically adjusted using the lens aperture adjustment ring. When mounted on a Sony Alpha 3000, pressing the bottom button next to the screen causes the camera to digitally zoom in to the focal point, allowing for more precise manual focusing. To do this, you need an LCD with a good, rather high resolution. Once you get the hang of it, it's really not as difficult as it seems.NOTE on LENS RELEASE: The instructions for lens release in the short booklet of instructions that is given are TOTALLY incorrect. Put your forefinger on the tab, as others have suggested, and draw it towards the camera until you feel a spring-controlled movement. Then, turn the lens clockwise to unlock it. You risk breaking the tab if you push it in or pull it out. The tab isn't flimsy and doesn't seem to break easily, which is a plus. However, it is not what you want to test, and that is not the goal.This is not one of those pricey brand-name adapters like Novoflex, Voigtlander, Fotodiox, etc. — those are pricey for a reason, and that reason is that they protect the camera's AF capability on the cross mount platform. All AF functions are unnecessary because this is merely a mechanical mechanism that connects one mount to another. At this price, this is a terrific purchase and would be highly recommended if you are willing to treat your finished system as a totally manual focus configuration. I purchased this to swap out my 7D2's Eye Fi card. The main drawback is that the dual slot benefit was lost because the SD card slot was occupied. They are comparable as far as transfer speed is concerned. The card's advantage is that it enables mobile phone remote shooting. By all means, this is for you if that matters to you.The setup is simple, and you can find many examples on YouTube on how to upgrade your firmware and then connect, etc.Despite the fact that I also own the more recent 6D2, the W-E1 with the 7D2 transfer is more dependable. The 6D2 will occasionally pause while waiting for the image to load. It should be noted that I am only referring about the transmission of large Jpeg photographs, not RAW files. I believe it is preferable to transfer RAW files directly from the card to the computer.
