Wow, so far, so wonderful. Other than being unable to utilize EF-S lenses, everything is excellent! When I put the Canon 17-40 f4 wide zoom lens on the M50, I did notice a broader field of vision and increased brightness. One test shot had f4 @ 1/80 At ISO 4000 without the adaptor. The room was fairly dark. The M50 camera's exposure settings with the adaptor were f4 At 1/80 @ ISO 1600. Just doing that reduced the noise. However, it is not what you want to test, and that is not the goal.This is not one of those pricey brand-name adapters like Novoflex, Voigtlander, Fotodiox, etc. — those are pricey for a reason, and that reason is that they protect the camera's AF capability on the cross mount platform. All AF functions are unnecessary because this is merely a mechanical mechanism that connects one mount to another.
