This was a tremendous hit that I bought for an elderly cousin. In order to give the frame as a gift with images already inside, I had it mailed to me. Despite doing a lot of shopping, I'm not sure I've ever posted an Amazon review. The features of this MRQ photo frame are simple to use and intuitive. I purchased it as a gift for my ailing father. My family added photo folders to a USB drive, and we utilized the digital frame's "random" play feature to retrieve photos randomly from all the folders. NO rotation, sizing, or quality issues with the images - perfect! You can select to play music along with the pictures or not. very simple to set up In order to share with my parents the photos we no longer have prints of, I ordered this for them. It's comforting to know that on the following holiday, I can simply upload the photos from my home to their frame, so they may view them the following morning at their residence. In that he would like to delete some of the pictures, my dad did want to have some control over the images that were shown. Despite the fact that the remote has a delete button, there is no function on the pad for this. The solution was to give him the frame's login information so he could visit the website and remove the images he didn't like. Some people who are not computer literate can have a problem with this. The 18" frame is in my home, and I adore it. The displays on both frames are superb, and the settings for showing the images are simple to use. I'm still figuring out how to use the movie feature.The only issue I have with the frame is that I wrongly believed that the software's built-in sleep feature would put the frame to sleep independent of other settings. The truth is that you can choose to turn on the sleep feature or the motion detection. I also wanted the motion detecting feature so that if I am sitting and watching a movie, it would turn itself off. I wanted this frame to completely sleep so that when I wake up in the middle of the night, it won't blind me by turning on in my kitchen. You can attach a timer to the power cord, but if you do, the frame will go to the main menu rather than starting a playlist. For the time being, when I go to bed, a piece of tape is placed over the motion sensor. I spoke with Nix Play, and it appears that some effort is being done in this direction.It is a great product, in my opinion. I have mine mounted on the wall, while my parents' is on a counter. They both have a wonderful display and seem very professional. In order to quickly show off some images to friends or family, you can use the remote to scroll through the pictures rather than waiting for the preset picture delay.Revision: May 10, 2015My issue has been resolved by the most recent version, and the motion sensing and sleep functions are now integrated. This product recently improved because nixplay was paying attention.

Being a professional commercial photographer, I've been searching for a screen that can play my portfolio and behind-the-scenes photos in my studio's lounge when customers are in. I made an impulse purchase of the $70.00 Sylvania 10" screen while browsing Walmart. Because of the poor resolution, it appeared to be an outdated Atari machine attempting to play a picture. I gave it back right away and started looking for a better option. I found this screen on Amazon and was primarily concerned with its size. After reading a few inconsistent reviews, I decided to buy it and the wall hanging unit that was suggested for it. The included 16GB USB flash drive is a great addition. It was convenient that the slideshow began playing as soon as I dropped a number of my high-resolution photographs onto the drive and placed them on the screen. The simple menu system was straightforward to navigate and the remote is simple to use. I did need to make a few screen modifications to bring the brightness, color, and contrast of the images that were playing on the screen to where I wanted them to be. Make sure to change these parameters as desired. It was good that the image quality was in line with my expectations. Everything seems terrible in compared to my mac retina displays because I'm so accustomed to using them. Given that this is not a very expensive Mac screen, I have to say that the image quality was amazing. I thought the high resolution landscape formatted pictures were much nicer than the portrait framed ones. I did see some pixelation, mostly in the images with vertical framing. Additionally, you must choose "original" in the settings when it comes to how the photographs are shown in order to avoid "stretching" your shots, which would noticeably worsen their appearance. I've included some pictures of the screen in my living room and the picture quality. This screen has met my demands for a client portfolio display in my living room, therefore I'm keeping it. I wholeheartedly endorse it!

Now that she has access to a 7-inch screen, she can display and view her trip images "She can change photos without touching the screen with her fingers. In order to allow adequate time to examine the events in each photo, we set the frame to 5 seconds per picture. If necessary, the photo change time might be extended. We easily loaded her photos onto a memory stick, inserted the stick into the digital frame's USB port, and the images displayed on the screen right away. I really appreciate how the photographs move from one to the next. I adore this frame! And the price was quite environmentally friendly.
