My nephew enjoys science a lot and is intelligent. He has always desired his own microscope and adores educational presents and publications. Although it was given to me, I still opened it up to check that everything worked and that it was of high quality. I appreciate that it comes with a whole set of tools, including a splitting blade, tings, sea salt, and a whole lot more, and that the slides are, of course, plastic. I received a microscope today, and it was awesome! I placed a piece of hair under the camera lens. The microscope is very user-friendly and offers a variety of usage possibilities. I'm teaching life science in middle school, which is a new area for me, and I wanted to use a nice compound microscope firsthand before delivering lectures in person. The microscope has the option of using batteries or being plugged in. Being a homeschooler, I can easily use this function anywhere, which is why I appreciate it. Along with several empty glass slides and some slides with various insect parts, this student microscope also comes with some slides. My youngest child adores peering through the camera to discover the materials that even the tiniest creatures are composed of. I'd strongly advise getting a couple extra sets of slides to use with it. Junior high school students and younger children (under adult supervision) should both use this microscope. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the packing came with a set of batteries, which was incredibly useful.

It was quite simple to utilize. Remember that the power switch has a double throw and an off center position. Right is the top light; left is the lower light. Whichever light is chosen, the intensity control functions. Focus is really simple and distinct. Since I was able to take off my reading glasses and focus properly with this scope table lift control, you most likely won't need to use it.Only the lower two magnifiers were functional. Since it is simply too powerful, the highest magnifier on the turret has not yet been functional and I doubt it ever will be. This is not a scope issue because that is true of any scope I am aware of. In most cases, a magnification of 1,000 or even more than 600 is useless. Although I lack expertise, I have heard this from professionals. Any scope you purchase that has a magnification of 1000 or above is therefore more of a novelty item. Because the two lower magnifiers have widely applicable settings and perform admirably, I'm still giving it five stars. The depth-of-field is pretty shallow with the third magnifying, but I'll keep trying it to see if anything happens. The second magnifier is very powerful. Therefore, it stands to reason that the third strongest magnifier will be nearly, if not entirely, impossible to use. But once more, this will apply to any scope you purchase.It is battery-operated, but when the power supply is plugged in, it changes to wall power. When the power supply is plugged in, a mechanical switch is triggered.If you focus with the 10x ocular and then switch to the 25x, it pretty much stays in focus, which is a pleasant effect. The fine adjustments are excellent. A wheel that rotates between seven condenser holes of varying diameters is located under the table, but I noticed no change. I wanted to switch between the colored filter lenses. I might tweak this device to rotate a few different colors using colored plastics I can locate.Overall, this scope performs admirably. It isn't very big and doesn't require assembly. It may therefore be put back into its box for storage with ease. It does, however, include a small cover.Standard scope cameras may also be used in place of the eye piece.

As a qualified nurse who spent countless hours studying under professional microscopes, I have to admit that this toy set is quite amazing. The collection has so many genuinely fantastic products, and the superb quality of each one makes it such a terrific deal! For young kids, a great micro scope Compared to all the other cheap plastic children's microscopes, this one is considerably better. The metal construction and lens quality are excellent. When I initially ordered one, it was a faulty item when it arrived. So I responded, "Sure, why not? Perhaps the other one was simply awful and this one will be better." And I was delighted to learn that it was and that it works really well. If you're using this kind of microscope, be sure to observe objects at magnifications more than 900x utilizing the oil immersion technique. This improves the clarity of the material being viewed.

Years ago, when I wanted to pop the question to my wife, I decided on a certified diamond for her engagement ring. For those of you who are unaware, certified gems often have a serial number engraved on the gem's girdle, or side. You would need some sort of magnification to view this serial number because it is so small. I bring this up because my wife has to remove her engagement ring twice a year to send it to a third party—a local jeweler—for cleaning and prong inspection. This is on the recommendation of both our insurance provider and the jeweler from whom I originally purchased the ring.The ring does leave our sight each time the neighborhood jeweler cleans or inspects it.
