I bought this for a green-screen martial arts demonstration shoot (amateur experiment; I'm a video guy). Of course, this was just a "taste" of what decent lenses can do for you at the beginning. I'll never use kit lenses or zooms again, just as my first sip of fine single-malt scotch made me hate cheap alcohol.This is a cheap way to experience superior glass for those willing to go past their kits. You also won't turn around. Just be mindful of your focus and an excessively wide aperture. If your subject moves around a lot (like in a karate shot), you can rapidly lose that point, but you'll be amazed at what you can achieve with less mobile people when the background disappears but their flyaway hairs remain sharp.

I desired to buy. I purchased a few add-ons for our gopro. But when I searched, this accessory kit looked to be the ideal choice because it's reasonably priced and comes with a ton of attachments. There is a cute small tripod, but I didn't know anyone and I wanted to get the handle mount for my husband's GoPro as a surprise. This complete accessory kit is everything you could want. Because the handle mounts' lengths are changeable, they are perfect for his snowboarding runs. The headgear is a benefit! I decided to purchase the package since, when I looked at everything separately, it would cost more overall. It also comes with a lot of extras that my husband would have to work out on his own. You can't beat this lens for the price. At f1.4, it moves really quickly. One of the sharpest lenses currently in use. Actually, it's not that big of a deal to not have OSS. Not with a lens this good costing so little. The lens is quite adaptable since with a crop sensor, 30mm essentially becomes a nifty 50. The construction quality is excellent; it doesn't seem at all cheap, nor is it very hefty. The autofocus is still relatively quick considering that it is not a Sony lens. Even in video, the autofocus on my a6400 is excellent. I'm quite happy with my buy all around. The added extras are only the cherry on top.

I used a Sony a6000 to test this lens; the images are unedited. To complete my regular collection of prime lenses, I had been searching for a medium-range lens. I'd have to say that after using the Sigma 30mm, I'm really pleased with the purchase.The wide aperture and focal length offer a lot of flexibility for all kinds of photographs, from landscapes to portraits. Both bright and low light conditions seem to be successful, but I haven't given the latter a lot of testing. The lens has little falloff at the corners and is crisp in the center. There isn't any vignetting or color casting that I can see. On strong reflections, there is some chromatic aberration, but it is considerably less than with my Sony 50mm f1.8. Additionally, the auto focus operates swiftly, and I am pleased with the lens's design. This kit with the additional accessories is good as well, notably the inclusion of a few surprising high-quality filters. The polarizing filter has seen a lot of use.There are some drawbacks, but nothing that would stop me from purchasing this lens again. This lens can achieve extremely high levels of sharpness when using manual focus, however I find that AF sometimes sacrifices some sharpness. Additionally, the colors aren't the most vivid, so I had to alter the image quite a bit.

Even after reading all the reviews telling me to stop thinking and buy it, I debated buying this lens for weeks. I regret waiting those extra weeks after getting my box and leaving with my newest member! In December 2018, I bought the Sony a6300 with the 16-50mm and 55-210mm kit lenses. I wanted something wide angle because I loved the 55-210 after getting to know them and was expecting to dive into astrophotography when the sky cleared up. After purchasing the Samyang 12mm, I quickly realized that it would not produce the high-quality images I had hoped for, and that the distortion would be too noticeable for daily use. It goes without saying that this 16mm Sigma was my first prime lens, and I'm already blown away by the image quality and fantastic low light performance. Remember that this lens lacks in-built stabilization, as do the a6000 and a6300. It does require a little more time and consideration while taking your shots, especially in low-light situations, but it still works quite well. Soon, I hope to capture some astrophotography and nighttime cityscape images. All of the other goods in this bundle will also be useful. The cleaning kit is fantastic, the monopod seems to be of excellent quality, and even while the UV filter isn't very high-end, it does an excellent job of keeping the glass clean and has no discernible impact on the caliber of your pictures. For such a comprehensive, high-quality bundle, the cost is absolutely worth it! I highly recommend this package, lens, and company!!

My title encapsulates my thoughts on the lens very well. It's incredible. a little bit but not excessively heavier than my Sony 50mm 1.8. The 1.4 aperture and excellent image quality allow for the capture of photos and videos in low-light situations. It's crazy, for reals! I went from needing three lights and wanting more to only needing one light. For my YouTube videos, I use one Neewer adjustable light and 100 iso, 1/60, and 1.4. You can see how much lower your iso may be even from that slight of a jump because at 1.8 with my Sony lens it was closer to 250 or 320. Even at the wide focal length, bokeh is good. Almost on par with my 50, though not quite. These two are pretty much all I've needed thus far for both my videography and photography. fantastic lens. similar in auto focus and video quality to lenses made by Sony. Although it lacks OSS, it still functions satisfactorily when mounted on a tripod or gimbal. For video, don't plan on handheld use; nevertheless, the alpha 6000 works just fine for photos. Without a doubt, I'd purchase this lens again.

Okay, let me just say that I'm extremely new to the DSLR scene. I've been playing around with a friend's 50mm prime before, so I figured I'd just get one.Currently, a 50-Prime subscription on Amazon costs $110.00; the bundle cost $125.00. I decided that this may be a decent deal for me since I didn't have the other necessities, so I bought it.**Accessories**I immediately grabbed the Vivitar Lens Protectors / Filters after I opened the package. The fact that you receive everything here convinced me it was worthwhile when I bought this bundle on Amazon. I had first assumed it would be something inexpensive. The Vivitar Lens Filters truly looked sturdy and came with a carrying pouch, making them rather pleasant. Although the camera threading is a bit small, the fitment was fine. You should still give it a shot. The Hood fits with everything else as well, however when it is attached, the lens cover cannot catch on anything and must instead barely grip the inside of the hood in order to release. Another ring surrounds the hood threads; I believe it is there merely for distance or to spread it out, but it seems extremely cheap. The rest is true to form. But the luggage is a little too big.**Lens**Once the outer box is opened, it is clear that the lens is the most expensive component within. It comes in its original Canon box, and when I opened it, everything was in immaculate shape, just like it would be if you bought it at a retail store.**Conclusion**Go for it if you want to get this package to add a few extras to your equipment. The 50 Prime is a fantastic lens that can give your photographs the desired depth of field.**Update**I therefore observed something after using the camera for a while, and I also asked my friend 50' to test it out. It appears that some lens flare is caused by the UV filter. Although it's not a major problem, it appears like the visuals are distorted. Just be aware that employing the UV filter may cause some reflection or refraction issues from light sources.

I believe the best way to describe this kit is to discuss each component individually, so I'll do that.Let's begin by discussing the case. The carrying case works well; it's an excellent method to keep everything together and scratch-free. Although mine came with a compressed foam lining, it is not particularly crush resistant, and it still holds the pieces together just fine. There are no issues because it is strong enough for the use you would anticipate.Then there are the clamps and harnesses:The chest strap is in excellent condition. Adjustments are simple and plentiful, so that's unquestionably a bonus. I'd guess it will fit someone who typically wears an American size big shirt comfortably. The only thing that worries me about this setup is that the plastic clip scrapes against the plastic mounting plate; nevertheless, it's quite snug, so this is probably not a problem.There are no issues with the head strap because it functions just like the genuine headstrap.The wrist strap really has a pretty nice locking mechanism that keeps it from slipping open. The lock on the turn table is also functional. (Be sure to fully press the lock in.) The adjustment range is rather wide, spanning from little to enormous. For a tiny child's wrist, it will be too large, but it won't have any trouble fitting someone larger.The "helmet strap mount" is fine, but I've found that, as long as you give the sticky pads enough time to cure on their surface, they're typically a better choice. Again, no concerns; you could use it without risk if necessary.The situation with the rotary clip is a little different. I've never really found these mounts to be all that useful. But if you do find a purpose for this one, the clamping force will keep it in place just fine. It's excellent that the spinning plate is also rather rigid. The plate has a ring on it so that you can use string to tie it down. My particular rotary clamp had a mounting loop tolerance problem. When the GoPro was tightened on the outer loop, it slightly bowed inward because it was too thin without the nut attached. Although I was still able to make it tight, you should be mindful that this could eventually harm your teeth.The handlebar mount performs as anticipated. I have no issues.The suction cup mount is the last option. Once more, it performs as expected. As long as you pushed it on the glass a little before pressing the button down, the suction on a flat piece of glass was fairly good. It's excellent that the arms ratchet and tighten with the screw.Here's the tripod, floating grip, and selfie pole:The selfie pole is quite long, however when extended, it flexes and flops a little. It also functions as a monopod, which is a nice added plus. Just be careful not to swing it too violently because it can shatter.It's a good floating grip. I don't fear that the plastic will crack or become punctured because it is fairly thick. When there is a chance that the camera could be lost, it is still advised that you tether it to you.This tripod is useless. Forget about mounting a camera on it; it hardly even supports itself on its own.Lastly, we have the various bits and pieces:The two tripod adapters are useful accessories. Although it is a little disappointing that the screws are the same size, both of these are good. Anyhow, I have no serious problems.Having the tiny clips and extension arms is also a terrific idea. The ones that are present will work perfectly fine.Additionally, the screws are all functional. There are no complaints either.I was wrong about how beneficial the wrench tool would be. It significantly tightens up everything. Just be careful not to over-tighten anything.The adhesive pads and mounts are probably the kit's most practical accessories. You can never have too many of these pads, so the additional ones that are included are a good complement to the kit.The retention lanyard is the last item. In extreme circumstances, I'm not sure if I would trust it, but a second point of contact is still a second point of contact...The argument is not that this kit is obviously not produced to the same standards as the authentic components. This kit's purpose is to allow you to purchase more parts for a small fraction of what official ones would cost. The suction cup and adhesive mounts are worth the price of this item on their own. As long as you are aware that it won't provide the same level of reliability as official equipment, this kit is good. Always remember that you get what you pay for.

You get a lot of accessories for the money. I was mostly interested in a chest strap and a head/helmet strap. Many of these connectors are ones that already came with my action camera, however buying JUST the chest strap would have cost me the same amount. Although I don't really need most of the other items, I can imagine using a few of them occasionally, and it's always a good idea to have extras of the rest. It's a bit difficult to connect some of the mounts because they are somewhat twisted or warped, but it's not impossible, and I'm confident that this will get better with time.
