I put these in my 2007 Honda Odyssey LX, which features headlights made of halogen bulbs. The LED is on the driver's side in the photos, while the halogen is on the passenger side. In the parking lot, the first image shows only low beam, and the second, high beam. Both of the lowbeam LED bulbs are mounted in the image taken on the road. These bulbs produce a lovely white hue. Compared to traditional halogens, they are noticeably brighter. The fact that LED lights in halogen housing "spread" the light and frequently cause oncoming motorists to become blind is a typical complaint. These produce light in a manner comparable to halogens while not blinding oncoming cars.The highbeams on this particular automobile were exceptionally challenging to install, but that was more a problem with the vehicle than the lightbulb. I advise taking out the battery and battery box on the driver's side to access the highbeam. I had to relocate the power steering fluid reservoir on the passenger side, but it simply glides up and down on the bracket to rejoin. To reach these bulbs, it is best to have small or average-sized hands. On both sides, it's simple to access the low beam. The LED bulbs' wire does make plugging them in lot simpler.Overall, I'm satisfied and would advise using these. I went over budget a little, but it was totally worth it. I will update this evaluation if I experience any problems with these bulbs in the future.

I've tried every one of those "We got the best LEDs without the hefty ballasts" claims. Needless to say, I grew weary of experimenting with LED bulbs and chose to purchase GE Nighthawk Platinum lights instead. Aside from Hella Bulbs, they are the best Halogen bulbs I have ever had. The Brightest Halogens available are Hella bulbs, although they burn out quite quickly. So you require 9003 Hi/Lo bulbs, just like everyone else in the world who owns a Honda Civic. They are merely that. Both high-beam and low-beam LEDs are present. Be sure to install them properly. There is a bad way to install them, it's true. They aren't Pure White, but they are white enough to avoid the appearance of 6000k bright blue HIDs. You can see while driving at night because the road signs become brighter than the sun and cover the road with a white glow. I've had a couple instances of oncoming cars flashing me. They provide a pattern that is similar to the OEM design but with far more light. It's not that fantastic in the rain as far as all white light is concerned. They don't seem to be breaking any laws, according to a couple local police officers I spoke with about them. Give them a try and return them if you don't like them thanks to Amazon's excellent return policy.

I have a 2013 Jeep Patriot, and installing lights was just as simple as installing regular headlights. It appears to be well-built, and it has good weight. I'm astonished by how much more light it produces, but it works fine. Since no one flashes me, it doesn't matter that the beam pattern is essentially identical to stock because it makes excellent use of the stock reflector. The Jeep TIPM System's lights flash once every few minutes for a few milliseconds; this isn't dangerous, but you'll need to acquire a led decoder to stop them from flashing. I'm keeping them in place till my decoder arrives on Saturday so the flickering/flash isn't too bad, but I certainly need a decoder for the long run. REVISED - I was very satisfied with this company because I had a problem with one of my headlights and they already sent me a replacement with a tracking number. genuinely impressed

Both the 9003 and the 9006 were purchases for my 2005 Toyota Tundra. Although these bulbs are top-notch, I didn't locate all of the important details in other reviews. The high/low 9003 is first. This was never truly explained, so I'll do it. The locking plates can be removed to access the bulbs. Before locking into the locking plate adapters you previously installed in your housing, you slip the dust covers on the bulbs and install the plates into your headlights. This enables for an easy installation that is weatherproof. The bulbs will push into and lock into the adapters whether they are on their side or not, though. My initial attempt resulted in me fitting both of mine upside down, and the beam appeared odd. When you switch from high to low and back, it is obvious. After 180 degrees of rotation in the adapters, the bulbs are now flawless with a fantastic beam pattern in my housings. The 9003 receives five stars. The 9006 bulbs are up next. These are meant to replace my fog bulbs. There are three issues that require attention. For my Toyota, the plug polarity was initially reversed. I had to reverse the plugs' pin orientation. Second, they hardly ever lock into the housings. They shook around and were loose. I had to manufacture shims to tighten them in the housing since I was concerned that they would eventually turn and fall out while I was driving. Third, the housing of fog lights is very directed, and the bulbs are offset by 90 degrees. When I realized the LED was not pointing through the reflector opening in the housing, I realized I was getting a very low output at first. However, I discovered the bulbs are actually a friction fit in the adapters, and they can be rotated until the LED is pointing through the reflector opening in the housings. Three stars for the 9006 because of the difficult fitting and reversed plugs. These lights would have received five stars if they had fit the housings better and if it had been made clear that some fog housings required clocking the bulbs for the proper output. Now that everything has been adjusted and fitted, the 9003 and 9006 are both wonderful. Bright and pure white. They are far superior to my prior Sylvainia Silver Star halogens. Yellow light is no longer present. Overall, these bulbs are of excellent quality and are quite bright and white. I also appreciate the fact that they employ a high-quality heat sink rather than a fan. Heat sinks don't fail; fans do. I only wish there had been greater clarity in the fitment and adjustment processes' instructions. Additionally, these have only been in for a few days. I sincerely hope they withstand the heat and weather in Florida. If they do, the price and quality of them are incomparable.

I love how bright they are. I'm using them in my 2011 Nissan Rogue, and they make the sylvania xenon bulbs I currently have in my low beams look pale in contrast. These easily outshine my old bulbs by a factor of three. I recently acquired a set of H11s for my low beams because I couldn't have them mismatched like that and I was eager to experience the enhanced brightness.The only problem is that they don't fit tightly in the headlight assembly; in fact, they're rather loose and could even fall out if nothing is done. This is why it only has four instead of five stars. Although they are positioned appropriately and the legs holding the bulbs in place are not as thick as stock or even other replacement bulbs (probably so the same setup can be used for a few applications). I had to go out and buy some O-Rings. For anyone else experiencing the same problem, two #14 O-Rings (15/16" x 3/4" x 3/32") are required. They cost $2 per pack and are available at any hardware shop. They fit perfectly if you simply slide them over the existing ring so it rests on the base.My low beams now stay illuminated when I turn on the brights, which is not a big deal as I'll be upgrading the low beams to match. My low beams and high beams used to switch off when one or the other was on. But that would accelerate the deterioration of regular bulbs. Without a doubt, these are worth the cost!

PRO: Good illumination (same as what I already had on my truck). on a 2005 Nissan Titan installedCON: Installed in September 2017, however I'm concerned because of reviews that claim it won't last long. I was the first owner of the truck, and my original bulbs lasted more than 12 years! Reviews suggest that these lights might only last two years or less? When these lights go out, I'll come back and update. The lights are still on if there is no update! In order to avoid having to immediately purchase a new pair of lights, I saved my one surviving 12-year-old light as a backup in case one of these new bulbs burn out. These lights are likewise built in Germany, much like my Phillips "made in Germany" originals. WARNING: The installation procedure could be a contributing factor in the longevity issue. DO NOT USE bare hands to handle the bulbs. The bulbs' natural body oils may be a factor in their decreased lifetime. I used a fresh paper towel to handle the bulbs from the packaging through installation. I hope there won't be a problem with longevity. Crossing fingers.

On my son's 2015 Toyota RAV4 LE, I recently walked down the well-lit yet risky path of LED headlamp modifications. Despite my best efforts, it did not turn out as planned. After only four days, one of the lights broke down, and the high beams were too bright to be used as DRLs without risking injury. There is no working with a light that fails after only four days. I was trying to resolve the high beam flicker/DRL issue with the vendor. These are in the automobile of my teenage son. He doesn't need a fix-it ticket for a burned-out headlight, or even worse, to be left stranded on the side of the road at night with two broken headlights.So when I came across these SilverStar zXe lights, I was thinking about HID conversions rather than LED. I'm glad I opted against the pricier and possibly problematic HID upgrades. These are substantially whiter (and brighter) than my OEM halogen bulbs, albeit they are not near as white as HIDs or LEDs. The one drawback is that the high beams in DRL mode are a bit yellow, but because they actually light up and don't flicker, I'm going to count this as a plus. Most importantly, it was as simple as changing a light bulb; there was no headache, version, wiring, adaptor, or controller required. The RAV4's projection low beams produce an extremely defined beam pattern that, as promised, looks very much like HID.

I now have to drive around as "that man," which is my only issue about these. You're familiar with "that man" who blinds all oncoming traffic with his blazing lights. February 2018 update:According to the warranty for these bulbs, they should last for two years with daily use of up to three hours. On my lengthy commute, I use them for around two hours most days, so I figured I'd test the warranty. It turns out to be pretty dang good. After sending Philips an email, they asked for certain information (a receipt, a few images, etc.), which I delivered a few days later.When I was about to email them again six weeks later, I received a FEDEX delivery with a two-pack of the bulbs as a replacement; good method to retain customers. Great customer service, thus I'll up the rating from four to five stars. Maybe my failed bulb was just an infant failure as the other original bulb is still functioning well.On the one hand, lights do a terrific job of lighting up the road, according to the original review. The light from these bulbs is clear and white and a big improvement over the OEM lights that came with my Mazda3 despite the fact that I live in a rural region with no street lights anywhere.On the other hand, one bulb has burned out after less than 300 hours of use in just one year, which, in my opinion, is a low lifetime. Although the second bulb is still operational, it is not a particularly effective "long life" bulb.This time, I'll probably order again, but if these bulbs keep having short lives, I'll switch to something different.
