Rock sliders are definitely worth it if you do a lot of off-roading in your Jeep. They provide protection to the sides of your Jeep from rocks and other obstacles, and they also make it easier to get in and out of your Jeep. They're not absolutely necessary, but they're definitely a nice addition to have.
I think running boards are a great idea! They provide an extra step to help you get in and out of your vehicle, and they also add a nice touch to the look of your car. I think they're especially helpful if you have a taller vehicle.
Most running boards are easy to install with just a few tools. Some models may require drilling, while others may not. In general, it is a relatively simple process that should take no more than a few hours.
Do running boards cause drag? This is a common question asked by many truck and SUV owners. While it is true that running boards can cause some drag on a vehicle, it is not typically enough to cause a significant decrease in fuel economy. In most cases, the aerodynamic benefits of having running boards outweigh the drawbacks.

The merchandise is exactly as seen in the photograph. And works for the 2018 Chevy Silverado. The only issue is that the area where the supporting pieces are fixed is very small and does not align with the orifices that the vehicle brings with it for installation. As a result, we had to leave the tornillos very close to the orilla for it to be properly installed and only put three supports because one actually did not align with the orifice of the vehicle.

I wanted to offer some advice if you are debating whether to buy this product. The goods arrived fast and was packed carefully. I read some reviews before making this purchase and was ready to perhaps discover the back bracket was out of alignment (I had a file on hand ready to use).Have no fear! All of the brackets on my brand-new 2017 Honda Pilot Touring AWD aligned flawlessly with my unit.Although it took me roughly two hours to install, it might have gone more quickly if I hadn't been so meticulous. The appearance and workmanship exceeded my expectations. The top has a solid feel as well and is hoped to withstand punishment from my kids stepping on them. The chrome area looks fantastic and feels heavy durable (not a thin stripe). I don't regret skipping the OEM part in order to save a lot of money on this.Other advice: 1) Brackets: The small letters F, C, and R stand for Front/Center and Rear, respectively. Only care about location; side doesn't matter because they are identical (I got confused because some were wrapped on the green bag). 2) The Running Board in the GREEN bag is positioned on the DRIVER side. It took me a while to read and comprehend it using the handbook. 3) Aside from the front bracket, which was just barely touching, I DIDN'T HAVE TO CUT THE SMALL PLASTIC SECTIONS UNDER THE CAR. 4) When tightening the screws, begin with the bracket (black screws), and then tighten the little screws underneath the running board. However, remember to line up these straight as they travel back and forth. After all was said and done, I concluded that one was not straight enough. I had to realign. 5) As stated by a different reviewer Just in case, I finished by spraying the CRC corrosion inhibitor all around the screws.

The installation went quite easily. To lift, align, and secure the first few bolts so I wouldn't have to carry the weight, I did originally have assistance. With only one person, it would be difficult, but it sounds like others have done it. I started at the back row of bolt holes on the passenger side step and worked my way forward. The front bolt holes were a little more difficult to line because they are a little more apart and canted to each other, which is probably why it was a little more tricky. When it finally aligned and I was able to get them all snugly placed, I had to loosen and tighten a few times in order to move the step a little bit and tap it with a rubber mallet. This process probably took 30 minutes in total. I began installing the second side (the driver's side) with the front row of bolt holes, which went much more smoothly and took only a few minutes to complete. In total, it took about 45 minutes, though I'm sure it could be finished sooner. They look fantastic on my black 2019 Tundra TRD Pro Crewmax and are quite sturdy. The packing is really excellent, with layers of bubble wrap, foam wrap, styrofoam, etc., as others have mentioned. There is almost no risk that these will be harmed in transit. They showed up spotless. Of course, the box is fairly hefty, but the work is worthwhile.

Normally, I don't spend the time writing reviews. But I have to admit that the packing, welds, polish, and overall simplicity of assembly are all of the highest caliber. The sidebars were packaged in a very sturdy cardboard box with supports strapped to the corners. Everything was quadruple wrapped, bubble wrapped, and inside was tightly sealed at all corners. I quickly examined the bars after removing them and discovered that the finish was perfect. I am aware that some people experienced minor problems, and the overall delivery may have been to blame. But I never had any flaws, and I still do not.Overall, assembly is quite simple and simple to complete on your own. The weight of the bars itself is the most difficult component. One important piece of quick advice is to support them with a set of jackstands while you bolt them to your frame. Naturally, hand tighten everything and make sure that every bolt is seated correctly before doing so.I've been quite pleased with the product thus far and would buy it again. I didn't offer five stars for anything other than the fact that I was unsure of the stars on the step sections. Ironic, huh, that I'm talking about not giving five stars when there are five stars on the steps. I'm just unsure if it fits my aesthetic. On diamond plate grip pads, however, you can have rubber stick if you desire. Harbor Freight is where they sell.I hope my analysis is useful.

My 2018 Ram 1500 Rebel Crew Cab received the Tyger Auto Star Armor kit that I ordered. I definitely make an effort to read the majority of reviews and to look at the questions and replies. Thank you, I did learn several things that were helpful. Many reviewers complained about issues with the kit they got. The side armor bars they received showed wear marks, were dented, or were missing portions, indicating that they had shifted during shipment. Mine arrived in a box that was damaged. Considering that the shipment weighs slightly over 100 lbs., having shippers treat it carefully is not going to be possible. notice the image below. When I opened the box and looked at the kit, it was in excellent shape. The "side armor" steps showed no indications of wear. No components were even slightly misaligned or bent when being installed. It was reported in the evaluations that some people received install instructions that were ambiguous or lacking. The detailed installation instructions that came with my kit were spread across six pages. The directions I received were photocopies, and while they may not be the best copies I've seen, they are still readable and simple enough to understand.I intended to put the kit together myself. I adopted certain suggestions made by reviewers and used them. Without a frame lift to lift the vehicle, I made the decision to drive the front end up on solid wood ramps to gain a few more inches of clearance. I raised the wheels on the back end of the vehicle using my floor jack so that I could fit three pieces of 2x8x16" under the wheels. I released the jack's tension and allowed the wheels to drop back down onto the 2x8s. It was ideal to have the extra 4.5 inches of clearance. I felt secure working below the pickup with the wheels blocked and could easily slide under using my creeper.Examining the mounting holes on the rear of the rocker panel is one of the initial stages. On my truck, the front two mounting bolt holes were already threaded for 8mm bolts with a 1.25 pitch. The accompanying "8mm bolt and nut plates" had to be used because the center and rear mounting positions lacked threaded inserts. The directions are simple to understand and adhere to. But the method is a little difficult. Through a hole above the mounting holes, the "8mm bolt and nut plate" must be slid within the rocker panel. To get the bolt to come out of one of the mounting holes, the "bolt and nut plate" is moved. A plastic retainer is slipped on after the bolt has passed through the hole to prevent the nut plate from slipping back inside the rocker panel. One person came up with the idea of attaching a length of string or wire loop to the 8mm bolt on the other end of the nut plate. If the object does fall in and slip from your fingers, you can fish it out. I didn't lose a nut plate into the rocker, but it was near — once. This is worth the little bit of effort it requires. (View the image.)attaching the side armor panels while providing support. As previously indicated in another review, I supported either end using jack stands. I cushioned the jack stands' metal tops to prevent nicking the side armor's polish. I also put some of the packing material on each end of the top bar of the side armor, just in case it touched the paint of the pickup. It makes no sense to have attractive side armor if the paint job is subpar. The side armor was almost perfectly positioned in this arrangement.Installing the jack stands with the side armor was quite simple. However, I was able to complete the task alone despite several evaluations mentioning the use of two persons. It did take some time to install and adjust the driver's side, but the passenger side went on without a hitch in only half the time. These are the best side steps or "side armor" that I have erected. The overall installation time was roughly 3.5 to 4 hours. They are sturdy and mount to the rocker panel's rear as well as through the holes in the "pinch weld" at the bottom of the rocker panel. These are not your mother's minivan side steps, albeit they are attractive. They give the Rebel the proper ambiance and appearance. However, they are of little value if they don't shield the pickup. Later, if I have anything to add to this review, I will.

hardly takes up any space. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘Update: The device has been in use for a year and is still in good condition. On the 2011 Grand Cherokee, the backup warning system works wonderfully; you can see how it lines up even with the red warning lines in the video screen in the backup camera. Its plastic injection molding and assurance that it won't rust and start the hitch rusting are features I truly appreciate. With all the road salt here in Ohio, it seems that every time I buy an item, even if it is powder coated, the rust eventually spreads to whatever it is attached to.I've owned it for a year and have had no issues.Due to the cost, I included a locking receiver pin.Although it functions well as a step and an early first defense when going to the grocery store, I mostly got it for the way it looks on the jeep.If the top surface had been non-slip, that would have been excellent. Its narrow coverage (11.5 inches) makes it unsuitable for use in combat, but it is quite solidly constructed with considerable bend when you stand on it. Everything I've purchased from Weathertech has been of the highest caliber.Safeguards Your Bumper In Limited SpacesExcellent work.Gratitude to you for reading my review.Read the (Kim A) review, Campjeep, if you have the time.————————-

My 2007 Ford Ranger extended cab fit the TruckChamp Nerf Bars wonderfully. The only issue I had was that the barrel clips were either missing or the packaging allowed them to fall out. Each box with the manufacturer's part number comes with five clips. Four were ordered, but one one had clips while the others did not. Amazon seems to be passing off returns with missing clips as brand-new. I was able to install using enough of the previous clips.Use a hammer to gently tap the clips into the nerf bar. An oily coating on the pad posts is quite helpful. Use a rubber-headed mallet to tap in the post on the pad until it is firmly in place after aligning it with the clips. Avoid going too far or you'll ruin the pads. The pads and clips are designed to be used once. You won't be able to do that without causing damage. A very useful YouTube video is available. It fits only SmittyBuilt, according to the description. But it was a perfect fit for the TruckChamp nerf bars. ABS is mentioned in the description, however polypropylene, or "PP," is written on the reverse of the pad. To me, it seems more like PP.

They fit, despite my slight concern that they wouldn't. Therefore, despite the fact that it isn't mentioned and Amazon claims it doesn't fit a 2019 Classic. The fit is excellent!Pros: Because they protrude past the doors, when cars throw open their doors, the board will be struck rather than your door! They are exactly the proper height to enter and exit the cab. They appear to be incredibly robust and remain in place even when a 250 lb man steps on them.Cons: The installation instructions are worded extremely poorly, and the graphics are confusing. The major support brackets are branded DF DC DR for Drivers Front, Center, and Rear, and they are rather simple to install. identical on the passenger side. Take your time; it is rather simple to figure out. There are smaller support brackets, but they aren't labeled, and they only attach to each bracket in one direction. The screw diagrams are there and are simple to understand. Pay attention to where the nylock nuts go and take care not to mix them up with the ordinary nuts. The nylocks don't need a lock washer, so you only have enough to go with each standard nut.Thank goodness the front mount on my truck has threaded holes!Unfortunately, the two rearmost mounts on my truck lack threaded holes. You are given a well nut or something similar to fish into the frame through the access hole. I needed around 30 minutes to figure out the first one. I dropped it once and used a pickup tool to get it out again.https://smile.amazon.com/General-Tools-70399-Lighted-Mechanical/dp/B002RHP7TSThe secret I've discovered to installing them is to take one of the larger bolts and thread it into the nut end of the bracket, then slide the entire bracket into the access hole while holding it by the bolt you threaded into it, and move it around until the welded bolt on the other end pops through the mounting hole. Then, put a washer and a nut on the bolt end, and you can unscrew the previously used bolt from the nut end. MAKE SURE YOU PUT A Without one, the nut will fall through the mounting hole. You'll understand it after you see it.Other than that, everything just clicks into place and fits correctly.A

Running Boards are extremely nicely crafted and have a wonderful appearance, but the written instructions are awful, use few words, and are difficult to follow in both text and images. I searched for assistance on YouTube and found several Ram setups, but none were for 2012. Despite being quite similar, two holes had to be drilled on the 2012 driver's side for the front support bracket. To install, you will also want a variety of metric wrenches and sockets with swivels. Additionally, I had to buy more washers because the ones that came with the installation kit had holes that were almost too big for the bolt heads to fit through. To install them properly, I had to buy 12 washers and 2 missing bolts. Although it wasn't really a one-person job, I managed to complete it myself using a jack and jack stands to raise the truck higher. However, it still took me about 6 hours to complete, requiring 2 trips to the hardware store and 1 to the auto parts store for a deep metric socket so I could properly tighten bolts. Like I stated, they are really well constructed, fit, and look wonderful when fitted, but be ready, check all hardware first, check your tool inventory, and you'll need short and deep sockets in addition to wrenches. Even though I've done a lot of work on gas and diesel trucks over the years, these were difficult for me to do on my own. Take your time and be patient; it will be worthwhile in the end.
Running boards were originally designed to help people get in and out of tall vehicles, but they also serve another purpose. Running boards can help protect your car's paint job from scuffs and scratches. If you frequently have people getting in and out of your car, or if you frequently drive in areas where there is a lot of debris on the road, running boards can help keep your car's paint looking new. Running boards are also helpful in preventing door dings. If someone opens their door into your car, the running board will take the brunt of the impact, rather
Running boards are designed to help you get in and out of your vehicle, but they can also be a hazard if they stick out too far. If you're not careful, you could easily trip on a running board and hurt yourself. To avoid this, make sure that your running boards are properly installed and that they don't extend beyond the edge of your vehicle.
There is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on a number of factors, such as the aerodynamics of the vehicle, the wind conditions, and the speed at which the vehicle is travelling. However, some experts believe that having the tailgate down can slightly improve fuel economy.
A running board is a flat surface that helps people get in and out of a vehicle. They’re often found on SUVs, vans, and trucks. Running boards can be made from different materials, such as aluminum, steel, or plastic. So, how much weight can a running board hold? It depends on the material and the size of the running board. For example, a small running board made from aluminum might only be able to hold 50 to 100 pounds. But, a large running board made from steel could hold 500 pounds or more. In general, the
A fixed running board is a type of running board that is permanently attached to a vehicle. This type of running board is often found on older vehicles, as well as some SUV’s and trucks. A fixed running board can be made of different materials, such as metal or plastic.
A side step is a small, horizontal platform that helps a person get in and out of a vehicle. A running board is a larger, horizontal platform that helps a person get in and out of a vehicle. Side steps are typically installed on smaller vehicles, while running boards are installed on larger vehicles.
