There are several socket sets available, but which should you choose? To keep in my camper trailer, I needed something compact and portable. I appreciate that this one only has a 3/8 drive. Why? I also have a Makita impact wrench with a 1/2-inch drive and a torque wrench "drive and a, so I'll just grab an impact bit for those bigger bits. It's a good idea to have both because trailers and cars often use SAE measurements. It's also a good idea to peel the head off using a socket that's "nearly the right size." It also has a knuckle, which is very helpful for locating tight nuts inside the engine.The casing is nice. It is small, doesn't take up much room, and contains only the parts you require. It features a sturdy clasp that looks to last for many years. I enjoy products from EPAuto. Although they use generic Chinese products, their assortment appears to be above average. I have no qualms about recommending this kit.

(It should, since it's physics.)It has worked well so far with the 1995 Honda Accord (36mm) and the 2005 Saab 9-2x (32mm).This bar was chosen because it is the longest, biggest drive bar at a fair price.Put away playing with heat or cheater bars. Forget about running the risk of breaking your tools, getting burned, or causing damage to your car or other property. Even at $50 for the bar and $20 for the right socket, I believe that breaking off axle nuts is well worth the cost compared to the time, effort, and unpredictability of those other procedures.The axle nut used to be my toughest challenge, but now that I have this bar, it is actually one of the simpler procedures. I have no qualms with performing any (front) operation that requires the axle nut to be removed.Cons: -The handle end of the bar is a little harsh and edgey, so if you pull it or push it away, it could scrape or damage your floor. If the edge had been rounded, it would have been better.-Excellent for removal, but when reinstalling, be prepared or aware of the need for torque. such as a torque wrench with a large enough socket. I still use this bar and torque the axle bolts once again by feel.The head is able to swivel rather freely with this particular bar. Like several other breaker bars, it does not click or remain in place. When handling, exercise caution because the head may flip around. I wouldn't want to drop this anyplace or on my foot because it is also pretty hefty and big in general.

It's good to be aware of this tool's limits before using it, even though I truly appreciate it.When I reach for it, I find that either the tool's diameter is too large for the location where I want to use it or that the bolt I want to use it on can be too shallow for a good hold.Having said that, it is nicely crafted and should last a long time with routine oiling. I've been pleased with how well it functions when I can actually use it; it really beats having to make a note of a bolt or nut's size and then search through my parts to find the appropriate one. I can now take my time with it.

This is an essential tool for those difficult-to-reach areas, like the idiotic 10mm bolt that is concealed behind the valve cover right before the cowl touches the firewall and cannot be removed with a socket wrench or other tool that provides leverage. This is the ideal instrument for doing just that, then. Although I haven't actually tried torquing anything with more than 15 ft/lbs of torque, it appears to be solidly manufactured despite being made of plastic. Get one so you can easily remove or replace those bolts in those difficult-to-reach areas.

I needed a 1 inch to half-inch drive adapter, so I ordered this set. I didn't anticipate requiring it today, but lo and behold, I needed to utilize an adapter and a 2-foot breaker bar with a half-inch drive socket. I have no idea how much pressure they can withstand, but I am positive that it is greater than what I can exert. I actually dislike clamshell packaging. The creator of that packaging should have his or her plastic package design chopped a million times. For around the price of one adaptor, the set's most crucial component. Now, I never have to be concerned about breaker bars or socket and ratchet combinations.

Upon first inspection, the socket that I purchased for my father in honor of Father's Day appeared to be in good condition. But after a few tests, one of the pins failed to rise again. With the aid of a small screwdriver, we were able to press it, but even after doing so a second time, the stubborn pin refused to rise. Something must be broken, perhaps a spring. Since there is obviously no return policy for this, I'm left with a faulty socket. The corporation should at least provide some sort of return policy if it cannot guarantee the high quality of its products.
