There is a lot of debate amongst ATV enthusiasts about whether wider tires are actually better. Some people swear by wider tires, while others find them to be more of a hindrance than anything. Set of 4 SunF Power.I ATV UTV all-terrain Tires 25x8-12 Front & 25x10-12 Rear, 6 PR, Tubeless A033 Review:

These tires were installed on my Foreman 500 in place of the OEM Dunlops primarily due to pricing and the ease of having them delivered right to my house. They were simple to mount and appeared to be well-made and quite robust. For a few months, I have been using them at least four days a week. I had to contend with sand, muddy vegetation, slippery rocks, steep hills, and warm weather here in New Hampshire. There is a lot of heavy snow and ice in the winter. allowed me to plow my gravel driveway and reach my detached shop with lots of traction. As long as I didn't go high centered on the trails near the house, it would push through the uneven, snow-covered ground. Snowmobiles are the only vehicle that can navigate some trails that NO ATV, regardless of tire size, can handle. As long as they are packed and frozen, will climb difficult hills, especially if you can maintain speed. You could get into difficulty if the snowpack is soft during a sunny day above freezing in the winter because you would slip down onto the frame. Minimal wear, even after navigating through deep puddles with broken, sharp ice and heavy pebbles. I won't think twice about purchasing them for any ATV.

Set of 2 New WANDA ATV/UTV Tires 25x8-12 /6PR P373-10243 … Review:

For my father's four-wheeler, these were by far the least expensive tires I could find on Amazon. They seem to be made just as well as the ones I took off, which were worn out, on the surface. They have been in use by him for a while, and so far, they appear to be holding up nicely. Just so you know, installing 4 Wheeler tires is difficult! It was necessary to cut a sizable hole in the old tires using a pair of tin snips in order to remove them. The metal band that fits around the rim and is covered in rubber must then be removed using wire cutters and a grinder since 4 wheeler rims have a higher inner lip to prevent low pressure tires from sinking into the center and going flat. Up until you need to replace the tires, it functions effectively. I had to sand and clean the rims to make sure the new tires did not leak because mud likes to collect between the rim and tire and cause it to leak. The replacement tires were actually mounted after that, just like most tires are. To lubricate them, liberally apply Windex, then add air until they pop over the lib and seal. Once it is at the required pressure, let the air out.

Set of 4 SunF Power.I ATV UTV all-terrain Tires 26x9-14 & 26x11-14, 6PR Front&Rear, Tubeless A033 Review:

I was a little leery because these tires really just have two plies despite having a "6ply rating." I wanted an excellent all-around tire that wouldn't cost a fortune. I don't ride often, but I was considering going to the West Virginia Hatfield McCoy trail network. Just before our trip, I made the decision to get these tires because my old ones were in very bad shape. I must say that I was quite amazed. They carried out all of my requests. In addition to all of the other levels, we rode several of the double black diamond tracks. They rode smoothly on hard pack and roads, clutched rock, and navigated mud. Snow is the only thing I haven't yet experienced with them. I anticipate doing so soon. I've ridden around 140 miles in three days, and I hardly notice any wear on them. They look amazing on my Can-am Outlander and have been quite reliable so far. For the purpose of lifespan, you might want to invest in a better tire if you plan to go trail riding every week. These tires should perform well all around and keep up well for the typical weekend warrior.

SunF Power.I ATV/UTV all-terrain Tire 27x9-12 Front & 27x11-12 Rear, Set of 4 A033, 6PR, Tubeless Review:

All is well thus far. On the day we put them on, I went them horseback riding on some rough and dangerous trails. They had incredible traction and held up well. With the factory tires, I was unable to climb some trails. They have wear after one run, but considering how hard I rode for five hours, it was to be anticipated. We put them on in approximately an hour. We lacked a tire machine. So we ran a car over the edge of my stock tires along the rim to remove the beading. That method worked for all 4 tires. then lifted them off the rims using a substantial 3' flat bar.The SunF tires were simply pressed on at an angle using a scrap piece of 6x6 wood to lift the rim off the hub's floor, and the other side of the tire was then attached using a flat bar.We used a ratchet strap from my pickup to help them inflate. Simply wrap the ratchet strap around the tire's diameter in the center, then tighten it to press the tire's center down and cause the sides to flare out into the rim so they can hold air. Then inflate them to the point when the ratchet strap releases. In order to prevent the ratchet strap from kicking into your hand, release it using the flat bar's crowbar end. Then blow them up to 14 psi till beads form.It took approximately an hour to remove the stock tires and replace them with these.

GBC Motorsports Dirt Devil Dual-Sport Bias Tire-22x8-10 57B C-ply Review:

I replaced these on my recently purchased Yamaha Timberwolf because the tires weren't very good at holding air after the four-wheeler had been sitting for five years. I was on a tight budget, so I tried duct tape and slime, but nothing worked, so I ordered these for the front. They made a huge difference in how well I could steer and get grip, though they were difficult to install. If you install them yourself, make sure to pull them out so you can seat the bead b.

MASSFX MS ATV/UTV Tires 26 x 9-12 Front & 26 x11-12 Rear, Set of 4 26x9x12 26x11x12 Review:

With little effort, I managed to saddle three of the four, but the final one kicked me in the behind! Before it would seat the bead, it required three ratchet straps and to sit on the tire. They have fared better than the standard tires that came on my Wildcat trail when I have exposed them to sand, hard terrain, and loose pebbles. Sidewalks are significantly more durable than factory tires, which ripped on the second ride and have so far borne little wear.

Can you put a 10 tire on a 9 inch rim?

Most 10-inch tires will not fit on a 9-inch rim. The bead of the tire must be able to seat properly on the rim in order for the tire to be secure. If the bead of the tire is too large for the rim, the tire will not seat properly and could come off the rim while the vehicle is in motion.

Can you put UTV tires on an ATV?

You can put UTV tires on an ATV, but there are a few things to consider before doing so. UTV tires are typically wider and have a taller profile than ATV tires. This can affect the handling of your ATV, so it's important to test ride it before taking it out on the trails. UTV tires can also be heavier than ATV tires, which can impact the suspension and performance of your ATV.

Can you put wider tires on stock ATV rims?

Most ATVs come with stock rims that are designed to work with specific tires. While you can usually put wider tires on stock rims, it's not always a good idea. Wider tires can cause the ATV to handle differently and may not fit properly on the rim. It's always best to check with the ATV manufacturer or a dealer before changing the tires.

Does tire weight matter on ATV?

Whether or not tire weight matters on an ATV is a highly debated topic. Some people swear by the benefits of lighter tires, while others find that they make no difference at all. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference and what you hope to gain from lighter tires. Some benefits of lighter tires include improved acceleration and easier steering. However, they can also wear out more quickly and may not be as durable as heavier tires.

How many years do ATV tires last?

How long do ATV tires last? It really depends on how often you ride and what kind of terrain you ride on. A general rule of thumb is that ATV tires will last for about 2,000 miles. However, if you ride on rough terrain, your tires will wear out faster.

Should I lift my ATV?

If you're planning on doing any serious off-roading with your ATV, then the answer is probably yes. A lifted ATV will have better ground clearance and will be able to navigate rougher terrain more easily. Keep in mind, however, that lifting your ATV will also make it taller and more top-heavy, so you'll need to be extra careful when driving it.
